90 Day Fiance is a hit reality show for a reason — and part of that is that it attracts some intriguing characters.

A lot of them are just people who are deeply in love. Some are lovestruck fools.

1. Let’s start with Larissa’s arrest

Larissa Dos Santos Lima, when she flew from Brazil to Las Vegas to marry Colt, was probably not expecting to end up behind bars.

2. The two had a huge fight

Colt wanted to keep things vague on social media to avoid spoiling for viewers that they’re still together, which Larissa found hurtful. This apparently culminated in an intense argument

3. Colt tried to diffuse things, and that’s when things got worse

Colt says that he took Larissa’s phone in the hopes that she’d calm down, but instead she panicked and locked herself in the bathroom and begged fans for help. Police arrived and handcuffed Colt, but ultimately arrested Larissa for domestic battery. But they decided to stay married

4. And then there’s Angela

Angela Deem is known for being gregarious but also having a short fuse. Now, she’s also known for having gotten a DUI. After being pulled over for doing 60 in a 35 zone, she accused the officer of being “racist” and of targeting her because his brother dated her daughter.

5. And speaking of Angela Deem’s daughter …

Scottie Deem also appeared on 90 Day Fiance. Scottie’s personal history is enough of a mess that she’s appeared on Maury — TWICE. Unfortunately, the reason for her arrest is much more serious. She’s been charged with over a dozen counts of child molestation. This is upsetting and truly unspeakable. And curiously, she had been arrested before TLC ever filmed her.

These days, the name Duggar is synonymous with scandal.

It"s something of an ironic turn of events, as the family was initially marketed as the most wholesome thing on television.

Josh Duggar"s sex crimes are obviously chief among the awful acts that the Counting On clan has been associated with.

But that ugly episode was neither the first or the last time that the Duggars would endure some serious damage to their squeaky clean reputation.

First up is the now-infamous Josh Duggar sex scandal. In May of 2015, the world learned that Josh molested five young girls — four of whom were his sisters — while still in his teens. To make matters worse, his parents helped him evade prosecution.

Shortly after that scandal went public, Josh was busted using an affair-facilitating website to try and cheat on his wife. What a guy.

4. Consent? The Duggars Don’t Know the Meaning of the Word!

Perhaps behavior like Josh’s is inevitable in a culture as relentlessly patriarchal as the one the Duggars live in. In 2016, Michelle Duggar penned an open letter in which she basically said women need to have sex with their husbands on command, even when they’re “exhausted” after a long day. “Anyone can fix him lunch, but only one person can meet that […] need of love that he has, and you always need to be available when he calls,” Michelle wrote.

5. A Heavy Hand

Not only have the Duggars advocated extreme corporal punishment such as blanket training, a police report from the Josh investigation noted that Jim Bob and Michelle admitted to hitting their kids with some frequency.

Remember when Jim Bob and Michelle got all handsy on a mini-golf course so they could demonstrate the joys of marriage to their kids? If not, it’s probably best to keep it that way.

Just to say so?” He added that he had a “hard time being excited” for his friends going to a four-year college. “I think you could learn a lot more for a lot less.”

2. Matt Got Arrested for Drunk Driving

The incident took place in 2007, after he was stopped near his home for swerve in and out and his lane. Six months after the arrest, he was found not guilty in court.

3. Jeremy the… Bigot?

Way back in 2008, Jeremy Roloff was accused of writing racist and homophobic messages on his MySpace account. The situation was brought to everyone’s attention by the National Enquirer story excerpted above. The messages at the time insulted African-Americans, Mexicans and gay people.

4. Jacob the… Drug User?

We can’t say this one is too stunning, but Jacob once Tweeted: “Who doesn’t suck at selling weed Hmu.” That acronym stands for Hit Me Up.

5. Roloff Farms… Sued?

Yes. In 2011, a Washington woman named Linda Farrall alleged that she was injured due to a fall from a picnic pavilion at the property. She sued the Roloffs for negligence and the case was settled out of court.

6. Jacob Accuses Producers of… Stealing?

Always an outspoken individual, Jacob publicly claimed in 2015 that he was getting ripped off from his time on the series. “Man I wish it didn’t feel like I was getting f-ced out of the money from the show that was my childhood right now,” he said back then.

The chain of events set off the #MeToo movement in which people took to social media to reveal their own experiences.

2. Kevin Spacey’s Career Drops Like a House of Cards

It’s hard to believe that Kevin Spacey was once seen as one of the finest actors in the business. With several awards under his belt and rave reviews for much of his projects, the only way was down.

Star Trek: Discovery star Anthony Rapp alleged that Kevin made unwanted sexual advances towards him at a party in 1986. Rapp was 14 at the time of the incident while Spacey was 26.

In the aftermath, Kevin thought it would be a good idea to apologize while claiming not to remember the incident. As if that was not bad enough, he confirmed in the same statement that he has been living as a gay man. The world was not impressed.

House of Cards was swiftly cancelled by Netflix, and production on the series was placed on hold. Spacey was fired and the show is expected to resume production with Robin Wright taking on the lead role.

3. Kevin Hart: The Adult Movie Star

Kevin Hart got hot and heavy with a model in Las Vegas, but his world was turned upside down when it emerged that the whole incident was caught on video and was being shopped to adult entertainment companies.

To make matters worse, Kevin’s wife, Enriko was eight months pregnant, but the pair is seemingly still together.

Kevin is very likely scared of cameras for life.

4. Kathy Griffin Beheads Her Career

Kathy Griffin is well-known for her knack for going too far when it comes to her comedy. Nothing could prepare her for the backlash she received when she posed in a graphic image with a fake head that was supposed to be Donald Trump.

She apologized when she was blacklisted by Hollywood, but has since retracted the apology because she seemingly has nothing else to lose.

5. DeMario Jackson and Corinne Olympios Shut Down Paradise

DeMario Jackson and Corinne Olympios got way too drunk while filming Bachelor in Paradise. Their sex romp was met with a whole lot of controversy when rumors emerged that Corinne was way too drunk to give consent.

Production was halted on the series and everyone was sent home. After an investigation, it was found that there was no misconduct on the set.

The show later re-entered production and both Jackson and Olympios chose not to return.

6. Corey Feldman Claims His Life is in Danger

Corey Feldman has long been open about knowing the names of Hollywood pedophiles who made his life hell as a young star.

Things took a turn in October when he said he said he would finally reveal the names of the people. Then, he posted a Youtube video and claimed that his life was in danger.

“I had a near-death experience last night where I felt like I was almost going to be killed,” he said. “Two trucks came speeding at me at the same time on a crosswalk.”

That incident was not enough to silence the actor. He later alleged that Jon Grissom and Alphy Hoffman were pedophiles.

Jennifer Garner Finally Responds to Ben Affleck Sex Scandals

If you’ve spent any time on social media this week, then you’re likely aware that that the film industry has recently been rocked by repeated scandals, and the reverberations are likely to be felt for years to come.

The controversy began with duel New York Times and New Yorker exposés detailing the shocking sexual assault allegations against Harvey Weinstein, the famed producer who rose to power as the co-founder of both Miramax Films and the Weinstein Company.

The charges against Weinstein led to a barrage of stunning revelations against a number of other powerful men in Hollywood, including actor and Oscar-winning director Ben Affleck.

Like many others in Hollywood, Affleck spoke out against Weinstein in a public statement issued not long after word of his appalling misconduct went public.

Unlike his colleagues, however, Affleck soon found himself in the position of being forced to explain some disturbing behavior of his own.

The trouble began for the 45-year-old when video of Affleck groping MTV host Hilarie Burton resurfaced.

The actor issued an apology for the 2003 incident, but other accusations followed soon after.

Yesterday Hollywood makeup artist Annamarie Tindler accused Affleck of harassing her at the 2014 Golden Globes.

“I would also love to get an apology from Ben Affleck who grabbed my ass at a Golden Globes party in 2014,” tweeted Tindler, who is also the wife of comedian John Mulaney.

At this point, it appears that Tindler has not yet received that apology.

Naturally, many have wondered how the mother of Ben’s three children is reacting to the allegations against her ex-husband.

Jennifer Garner has yet to speak publicly about the charges, but a source close to the actress says she’s understandably displeased with what she’s hearing.

“[Garner] is very annoyed because it just means more attention on her and the kids as a result of Ben’s actions,” a source tells E! News.

“She tries to shield them from any and all publicity and scrutiny. She’s taking her kids to school and to all of their activities. As far as they know nothing has changed and all is well. That is always her goal but she’s been pretty frustrated with him.”

We’re guessing the source is downplaying things and Jen is more than just “annoyed.”

Recent reports indicate that Jen was already questioning Ben’s fitness as a parent, petitioning the courts to force Affleck to undergo drug testing before he’s granted permission for overnight visitations from his son and daughters.

The former couple was seen participating in a family outing with their kids earlier this week, but onlookers say both parties looked “tense.”

It’s certainly not hard to see why that might have been.

In 2014, the network also pulled the plug on the program “Flip It Forward” in the middle of production after it was uncovered that the hosts, David and Jason Benham, were REALLY anti-gay. 4. House Hunters is STAGED!

This is really not shocking. But, in 2012, one of the ex-home buyers featured on the program said her while experience was simply made by producers. Nothing we saw was real. In a statement addressing the controversy, the network even admitted to “managing certain production and time constraints.”

5. A Property Brothers BRAWL!

In 2016, Jonathan Scott – one handsome half of the sibling duo behind Property Brothers – was thrown out of a North Dakota bar in 2016 because he got into a fight with the bouncer when his drink was taken away at closing time.

6. Flip or Flop Stars Flop
