Keeping Up With the Kardashians Recap: The Aftermath

Last week on Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Kim Kardashian (and E! producers) recounted the horror of her Paris armed robbery.

This week, we delved further into “The Aftermath.”

On Keeping Up with the Kardashians Season 13 Episode 3, Kris Jenner openly worried about the security of her daughters. For good reason.

Kendall Jenner told E! cameras that even before Kim’s robbery, she’d experienced her own brush with danger as a result of their fame.

“I had someone break into my house,” the model said.

Even if you don’t you watch Keeping Up with the Kardashians online, you may have heard about Kendall’s stalker incident previously.

“So I came home this one night, and there was a guy sitting on the side of my street, and I was like, ‘That’s so weird,’” Jenner recalled.

At first, she said, she thought it was “a homeless man.”

Then the situation went from strange to scary. Fast.

Kendall drove into her driveway, watched her gate close, turned off her car off and grabbed her stuff before she realized HE WAS THERE.

“I’m about to open my door and look in my rear-view mirror, and he was standing right there,” she said, telling her “I need to talk to you.”

“I was like, ‘No, you need to leave."” Kendall said,

“I called one of my friends immediately. I’m sobbing, crying. He was at my [car] window, banging on my window, just screaming at me.”

Wisely, Kendall did not get out of the car, backing out of her property as the man chased her; Jenner’s friends arrived, followed by the cops.

As for the man’s status now? Kendall says “until we go to trial, he stays in jail,” but she feels terrible because of his “mental health issues.”

Kris Jenner was less sympathetic.

“You need to show everyone that you’re going to act on every single predator who acts on you,” she said, while telling Kim to seek therapy.

Kim, of course, was freaking out about her own issues, explaining how she thought that husband Kanye returning home was an intruder:

“After a concert he can’t hear that well, so I’m going, ‘Hello, hello!’ Like, what I did [in Paris] … and he’s not responding ‘cause he can’t hear me.”

The reality star told her rapper spouse that she was terrified as a result of this and that “we’ve got to come up with a plan” for the future.

“You have to announce yourself.”

She realized this was maybe a little overboard, though, or at least not going to solve her issues, saying, “I don’t want to live my life like that.”

Kim agreed to seek professional help.

She also told Kendall, who was wary of testifying against her stalker, that she shouldn’t have to live in fear and should do it for that reason.

Kendall agreed to face him in court, and as traumatic as that whole experience was, ultimately did what she had to do during the proceedings.

The man was required to stay 100 yards away from her, and while Jenner felt bad, she said, “we have to take action and protect ourselves.”

Jenner was comforted by her dad Caitlyn, as well as Kris Jenner’s boyfriend Corey Gamble, who said he would always protect the family.

Say what you will about this family, they always stick together and are a terrific support system for another during these difficult times.

Keeping Up with the Kardashians Season 13 Episode 3 ended with Kim’s birthday, and a celebration that included all her friends and family.

Even Rob showed up, if you can believe that.

Noting that she lost her dad when she was young, she said all she wanted for her birthday was safety and to be around for Saint and North.

That’s as humble and down to earth as Kim Kardashian has ever sounded, but often, our perspectives can change after dramatic events.
