Earlier today, we reported on the widespread rumors about a possible Kailyn Lowry sex tape.
It’s important to note that the tape has yet to make an appearance online, which means its existence remains very much in doubt.
That said, based on the descriptions we’ve heard, if it’s out there, it’s pretty racy.
Like, “puts Farrah Abraham’s porn to shame” racy.
Apparently, the footage features Lowry, a man, and a female friend getting down to some three-way action.
According to the original Crazy Days and Nights blind item that started all the rumors, Lowry and two very close friends filmed the home movie on a smartphone.
The other female involved in the the threesome apparently threatened to release the tape publicly but decided not to for an interesting reason:
“So far she has not tried to sell it because she thinks the Teen Mom still prefers her over the Mom’s most recent boyfriend,” CDAN claims.
That’s a confusing sentence (at the time, Lowry had not been identified as the tape’s star, and was thus being referred to as “the Mom”), but it here’s our theory on what it really means:
Kailyn, her then-boyfriend, and a female friend all decided to get a little freaky one night and they filmed it, because famous people never learn.
Shortly thereafter, Kailyn and the boyfriend split up.
(We know that Kailyn is currently single after having broken up with her most recent baby daddy, so this probably happened in the past couple months.)
Because Kailyn and the female friend are so much more than just friends, there was some confusion as to the nature of their relationship in the wake of Kailyn’s breakup, and perhaps during an argument, there was some mention of going public with the tape.
All of this has led the Teen Mom 2 fans who put the most thought into this sort of thing to conclude that the tape features Kailyn getting down with her longtime friend Becky Hayter.
Kailyn and Becky are rumored to have hooked up in the past, and based on their social media interactions, it’s safe to say they’re more than just casual acquaintances who occasionally get physical.
So it seems that Becky shot the video on her phone; emotions boiled over one night, and there was some concern that the offended party would post the tape online.
We may never get any confirmation on any of this, but don’t worry – we’ll continue to over-analyze this possibly non-existent footage like it’s the freakin’ Zapruder Film.
