But then John Cena and Nikki Bella won their tag team match, only for the former to steal the spotlight from all other WWE Superstars when he got down on one knee to propose.
Cena and Bella, who have documented their romance on E!" Total Diva, began dating in 2012.
However, Cena had been honest about the fact that he preferred not to get married and not to have children.
In the buildup to their match at Wrestlemania 33, in fact, Maryse taunted Nikki Bella over this obstacle in her relationship, saying that Bella was jealous of Maryse’s diamond ring.
That isn"t the case any longer, however.
