Just when we thought Jenelle Evans was beginning to get her life on track, she goes and finds a new rock bottom.
Jenelle’s fitness as a parent has once again been called into question, and it’s looking like the Carolina Hurricane may soon lose custody of yet another of her children.
In the past month alone Jenelle has faced a number of child abuse charges, and given her long history of bad parenting, it may prove difficult for the Teen Mom 2 star to clear her name.
Jenelle has been accused of doing drugs while pregnant with daughter Ensley, and neglecting and verbally abusing her two sons.
Jenelle’s mother, Barbara Evans, already has custody of her eldest son, Jace, and now it looks as though baby daddy number two will, Nathan Griffith, will lobby for full custody rights of her second son, Kaiser.
It remains to be seen if Jenelle will be able to clear her name in court, but those who are familiar with the case believe it’s unlikely that any judge will find in her favor.
Of course, the court of public opinion is already in session, and not surprisingly, the widely-despised Ms. Evans isn’t faring well.
In fact, one of Jenelle’s co-stars is already praising Nathan and his mother for their efforts to remove Kaiser from an unsafe environment.
“Good for Nathan if it is true, protecting Kaiser and doing what they need to do,” fellow TM2 star Javi Marroquin tells Radar Online.
Asked if he’s seen any evidence of Jenelle criminally mistreating her children, Javi concedes that he has not, but cites her long history of violence and instability as all the proof he needs:
“People don’t change in my opinion,” Marroquin says.
As for why he’s disliked Evans for so long, Marroquin says the answer is simple:
“We just don’t get along,” he tells Radar.
“I don’t like the way she acts or some of the stuff she says.”
Javi even went so far as to tease an upcoming confrontation with Jenelle that’s due to unfold in front of an MTV camera crew:
“We’ll be at the reunion pretty soon so it’ll be a good one,” Javi says.
In the meantime, Jenelle has bigger concerns than Javi, as the case against her seems to keep growing:
“DSS became involved due to Ensley testing positive for marijuana and opened an investigation,” Griffith’s mom, Doris Davidson, claims.
“Upon information and belief, both Plaintiff and David had positive drug screens for marijuana.”
Davidson also says accuses Jenelle of locking her sons indoors with no air conditioning on “a very hot day” and claims she has evidence of “bruising and markings that are unusual” on her grandson Kaiser.
