In many ways, it feels as if the cast of Little People, Big World has never gone away.
Thanks to social media, nearly every member of the Roloff family has shared numerous photos and updates over the past several months.
However, these reality star have gone away in at least one fashion:
They are not appearing on new episodes of the series that made them famous.
The last season wrapped up at the end of June and fans were given many reasons to expect that it would premiere a fresh batch of installments at some point in the near future.
So far, however… nothing.
Nada. Zilch. Zero word from TLC about when Little People, Big World will return to the air.
Viewers are growing concerned, too, as they can only sit back and watch Little People, Big World online so many times without clamoring for new storylines.
Could the program have been canceled?!?
Thankfully, no.
Amy Roloff was asked this question by a curious Facebook follower late last week and she at least replied with an assurance that she and her loved ones would be back soon.
Relatively soon, that is.
“No word here that our show is ending. We don’t have a confirmed confirmation on when the new episodes will air,” Amy wrote in response, giving us hope by adding:
“We are hearing in March or earlier in the new year.”
Ah well. Okay then.
That’s longer than we would have preferred, but it’s better than hearing the show had been yanked off the TLC schedule entirely.
As we head into an eventual new season, viewers are wondering about the following questions and topics:
WILL JACOB ROLOFF APPEAR?
He allegedly played a prominent role in Molly Roloff’s wedding, which was filmed for the upcoming season.
Therefore, yes, we’d be stunned if Jacob doesn’t make some kind of comeback to the show he walked away from last summer.
Will he return as a regular cast member, though? We doubt it.
WILL WE SEE A LOT OF JACKSON ROLOFF?
D’uh!
The baby was born to Tori and Zack back in May and his arrival served basically as the climax to the previous season.
Early next year, when the show comes back, we’ll get to see ways in which Jackson is growing up.
WHAT ABOUT EMBER JEAN ROLOFF?
Heck yes!
Just as the previous season detailed Tori and Zach’s journey to parenthood, we can look forward to many episodes dedicated to Jeremy and Audrey as they await the birth of their first child.
(She was born in September. And she is SO cute!)
WILL WE SEE TENSION BETWEEN MATT, AMY AND MATT’S GIRLFRIEND?
Very possibly.
Little People, Big World is not known for its scandals, but Amy has reportedly been snubbed on a couple of occasions by Caryn Chandler.
We’ll be curious to see if this supposed rivalry is milked for ratings when the series returns.
