The pregnant Jinger Duggar has officially debuted her baby bump online, and she looks absolutely adorable at the 15-week mark.
The Counting On star gave fans and followers their first glimpse of her growing belly at the early stages of her second trimester:
“Baby Vuolo is growing!” Jinger, 24, captioned the photo.
Wearing a fitted black t-shirt, the reality star stands next to a chalkboard reading, “15 weeks” and “baby is the size of an apple.”
Jinger concluded her caption with a quartet of hashtags: “#15weeks #babybump #babyisthesizeofanapple #pregnantmama.”
Duggar and her husband Jeremy Vuolo, 30, announced earlier this month that they were expecting their first child together.
“The past fourteen months have been the best of our lives,” the married couple said in their joint pregnancy announcement.
JinJer gushed that “we have had the wonderful privilege of beginning our journey through life together in marriage.”
“We both looked forward to the joys of marriage but neither one of us fully understood just how amazing the start of this journey would be.”
“Truly, the Lord’s mercies are new every morning!”
“Now, the journey has taken an exciting turn: we are expecting our first child!” they continued, giving thanks to above.
“We are praising God for this beautiful gift and ask that you join us in praying for a safe and healthy pregnancy.”
They concluded: “Psalm 139:13-14 13 For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb.”
“14 I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.”
The Counting On couple does not know what gender their child is, though they’ll be “happy either way,” Jinger said.
“I would love to have a little princess,” admitted Jeremy, who hopes their first-born child will be just like his wife.
“I am praying that the baby will look like, act like, talk like, be like Jinger, and so I’ve asked everyone else to pray as well.”
That’s high praise. Why a girl?
“I was a little terror as a child, so I’m hoping that the little one will be as much like Jinger as possible,” Jeremy joked.
For what it’s worth, Jinger says she has an inkling that it will be a boy – her sisters Jill and Jessa both have two each.
In any case, their announcement was a long time coming as far as some fans were concerned, as they wed in 2016.
That’s over a year ago!
In Duggar years, that’s like five years. We kid, but most times, married couples don’t wait that long to start a family.
Jessa and Jill both announced they were expecting within a few months of tying the knot, and Joy one-upped that.
Joy-Anna, who is also pregnant and due within the next month or so, got pregnant on (or before) her honeymoon.
Jinger has always done her own thing, though, and from the way Jeremy is trolling Jim Bob, that’s likely to continue.
