Roloff family grandbaby Jackson Roloff is 10 months old, and he can do a lot of things now. And he’s learning more every day.
His mother, Tori Roloff, is teaching this sweet baby how to swim.
Don’t worry, folks — Tori has shared plenty of pictures of this tender moment so that fans can be a part of it, too.
Tori Roloff shared some wonderful photos of her adorable baby boy, and wrote in the captions:
“Enjoyed an afternoon at the pool praying for summer to come!”
Not everyone is looking forward to summer weather, but perhaps summer feels more urgent in the Pacific Northwest.
“Jackson loved his first time in a big kids pool!”
That is so sweet — and, of course, she offers plenty more glimpses of the adorable little Roloff baby.
“Such a little swimmer!”
This trip to the pool was no ordinary one, because it was apparently a birthday celebration.
“Happy birthday to our friend Alaina!”
Tori Roloff also took the time to use her captions to plug the bathing suit that she was wearing — but only after she cooed about her sweet baby son.
“Ladies if you haven’t heard about @albionfit you neeeeeeed to! This suit is in their website and makes me feel beautiful!!!”
Now, “Albion” was an ancient name for England, but we don’t see any medieval motifs on her onesie. And she is beautiful in it.
She even offers fans a promo code.
“Use my code TORIROLOFF15 to get yours with 15% off! #iamalbionfit #gaplove”
Don’t worry, folks — she has more of Jackson to show us.
As we mentioned, Jackson turned 10 months old earlier this month.
Tori rattled off some of his milestones with pride.
He can wave hello and goodbye.
He can identify and find airplanes and lights.
He has eight teeth. Eight!
He wants to stand (in fact, he is constantly climbing on things, especially his mother, in an effort to stand and reach new heights).
Jackson now eats eggs (when he feels like it) and chicken.
Tori also announces that he still sleeps for 11 hours at a time, inspiring envy from the entire Little People, Big World fandom who either wish that their babies did the same or wish that they did.
But as much as Jackson is doing, Tori obviously wasn’t going to just toss him into the pool and hope that he figured out how to swim.
We’ve all seen videos of babies swimming on their own, but those are the exceptions.
Also, though Jackson will have many opportunities in his life, no one knows better than his family that he may have to try harder.
Like his father, Jackson has achondroplasia.
Last summer, when Jackson was even younger, his father Zach Roloff said:
“You have to encourage a dwarf child a little more because it will take them five steps to do what others can do in two.”
But Zach doesn’t mean that as discouragement. He went on to say:
“The world is changing. People are more open to diversity. Whatever he wants to do, we’re going to find a way to help him do it. That’s our job in life now.”
In the mean time, fans can look forward to Little People, Big World‘s return. The new season is right around the corner, folks!
We’ll get to see so much of Jackson growing up and hitting milestones that we didn’t get to see over social media.
