As you’ve no doubt heard by now, Tristan Thompson was caught cheating on Khloe Kardashian while she was pregnant with his child.
That news was shocking enough on its own – but what happened next really threw fans for a loop.
It was widely assumed that Khloe would dump Tristan, but weeks after the allegations surfaced, nothing of the sort has happened.
In fact, rumors that Khloe still plans to marry Thompson have been circulating on social media.
Needless to say, there are many who find these developments deeply distressing.
Khloe’s family has issued ultimatums; her fans are encouraging her to seek help, and to the surprise of absolutely no one – a shadowy figure from Khloe’s past has once again swooped in hoping to take advantage of her vulnerable state.
We’re talking, of course, about NBA star-turned-uncle who always needs to borrow five bucks, Lamar Odom.
According to In Touch Weekly, Odom has joined the masses in encouraging Khloe to kick Tristan to the curb … and, hey, ya know, if she feels like giving old Lam-Lam a second chance, that might be cool, too.
Amazingly, Khloe’s family is said to be so fed up with Tristan that they’re actually encouraging Odom’s attempts at an intervention:
“Khloe needs help,” a source tells the tabloid.
“Lamar might have done some crazy things but he loved her. He loved her more than life itself. It’s eating him up watching Khloé being abused and taken advantage of by Tristan,” the insider adds.
He wants her to dump him so bad.”
Lamar swears his intentions are pure, and he only wants to help Khloe out of a bad situation as a way of expressing gratitude for the way she rushed to his side after he nearly died of a drug overdose in 2015:
“Lamar knows Khloé’s going through hell and would like to be there for her just like she was for him when he was knocking on death’s door,” the source explained.
“He has the utmost respect, love, and admiration for Khloé and is tremendously happy she’s had her first child. Truth be told — Lamar wishes he were the father.”
In the past, Lamar has benefited from Khloe’s short memory, as she took him back after repeated f-ck ups.
This time, however, it looks like Tristan will be grabbing his own rebound:
“Khloé never learns from her mistakes,” says a second insider.
“She forgave Lamar for cheating, and now she’s doing the same thing with Tristan. She thinks marriage will be the answer to their problems, even though it’s clear she can never trust him again.”
Yeah, Lamar!
