Alice Kim: Cheating on Nicolas Cage Before Separation?!

A cheating scandal was reportedly the catalyst behind Nicolas Cage‘s sudden split with his wife – and Alice Kim was the one stepping out.

The 52-year-old eccentric, financially irresponsible Oscar winner and his 32-year-old spouse announced their separation late last week.

They had been married since 2004 and have one child together.

It’s not his first divorce – or his second – but what makes Nicolas Cage and Alice Kim‘s breakup so surprising is this latest revelation:

She was cheating on him! Publicly and for awhile now!

“All while he was at the Cannes film festival,” a source close to the situation told Radar Online, detailing Kim’s betrayal of Cage.

The actor, to put things mildly, “was blindsided when he was confronted with allegations that Alice had been cheating on him.”

“The reality is that Alice has been regularly spotted in Nevada with another man – and was even caught kissing him behind Nick’s back.”

Soon after, Cage interrogated his wife about the claims, which made their way to him via an unnamed business associate.

His publicist then issued a statement claiming that the two have been separated and living apart since January of this year.

Cage had been living with Kim and their 10-year-old son Kal-El near Summerli, Nevada, about 30 minutes from the Las Vegas strip.

She is Cage’s third wife, following his original marriage to Patricia Arquette and his short-lived union with Lisa Marie Presley.

Alice and Nicolas met in February 2004 when she served him while working as a waitress in a Los Angeles restaurant.

They were engaged two months later.

Very little is known about the notoriously private star’s personal life, but Cage was arrested for domestic abuse against Alice in 2011.

During the outburst, a drunk Cage allegedly grabbed Kim by the arm, began hitting parked cars and dared police officers to arrest him.

They obliged, but Dog the Bounty hunter bailed him out of a New Orleans jail and Alice declined to press charges, so all was right with the world.

Nicolas Cage & Wife Alice Kim Separate After 12 Years of Marriage

Nicolas Cage and his wife Alice Kim have separated after 12 years of marriage.

A rep for the actor confirmed the news to Us Weekly earlier today.

The couple share one son together, Kal-el, 10.

Cage met Kim when she was working as a waitress at the Los Angeles-based restaurant Kabuki and got engaged after just two months of dating.

They were married at a private ranch in Northern California in July of 2004.

In 2011, Cage was arrested for domestic abuse against his wife during a heated argument they had on the street in New Orleans.

During the outburst, Cage allegedly grabbed Kim by the arm and pulled her down the street.

Reportedly drunk and certainly disorderly, Cage began hitting parked cars before police arrived on the scene.

When he was told to go home, he dared the cops to arrest him, and eventually they did.

However, Kim did not want him charged and claimed there was no physical contact.

Since this incident, we haven’t heard much about their relationship except that Cage had squandered away his money and was living with his family in a tiny condo in Las Vegas.

This was the third marriage for Cage.

He was married to Patricia Arquette from 1995 to 2001.

In August 2002, Cage tied the knot with Lisa Marie Presley, but the pair filed for divorce just months later in November of the same year.

In the December 2015 issue of Vogue (which features a cover story about Jennifer Lawrence), the 20-year old model helps pay homage to a classic fairy tale.

She’s platinum blonde and dressed sort of like Alice in Wonderland.

She’s also kicking a weird-looking rabbit at one point.

This unusual “wonder.land” photo series was snapped by photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, as the spread delves into Lewis Caroll’s imaginative world.

“The pyrotechnics of Lewis Carroll’s imagination thrive on the London stage in wonder.land, a new, hyper-modernized tale of Alice and her follies,” the magazine writes.

“Kendall Jenner – with some fantastical friends – trips down the rabbit hole in the season’s splendors.”

Kendall is rocking Dior Haute Couture and Louis Vuitton outfits for the magazine, though it’s hard to pay attention to her clothes when Jenner is also rocking some seriously dyed hair.

Or is that a wig?
