Golden Globe Awards: Best, Worst & Most WTF Moments

Who won big at the 2017 Golden Globe Awards?

These finely-dressed celebrities, of course.

But which moments stood out from the rest? Which stars and which events have left the Internet buzzing?

Let"s take a look below, shall we?

1. The Legend Attacks The Donald

Meryl streep attacks donald trump at golden globes and trump res

We can’t say any of this better than Meryl Streep. Watch the above video to see her tear Donald Trump apart.

2. Darn You, Ryan Gosling!

Ryan gosling gushes over eva mendes at golden globes

You should also watch this video to see how Gosling is A LOT more than just a pretty and talented face. He just made us cry over his Eva Mendes tribute.

3. Her Bad!

Her bad

Prior to these amazing speeches, Jenna Bush Hager interviewed Pharrell and asked about the film “Hidden Fences.” Except he sang a song for the movie “Hidde Figures.”

4. And the Crowd Went Wild!

And the crowd went wild

Brad Pitt received an extended ovation when he appeared on stage at the ceremony. Because he’s no longer with Angelina Jolie? Hmmm….

5. Barb Lives!

Barb lives

Jimmy Fallon did not exactly crack us up during his Golden Globes monologue. But he did resurrect Barb from Stranger Things!

6. Awesome-ish

Awesome ish

Overshadowed a bit by Streep and Gosling, Tracee Ellis Ross deserves a shout-out for her speech upon winning a trophy for her role in black-ish. Said the star on stage: “This is for all the women — women of color and colorful people — whose stories, ideas, thoughts are not always considered worthy and valid and important. But I want you to know that I see you. We see you.”

Brad Pitt Stuns Golden Globe Crowd, Receives HUGE Ovation

We now know on whose side Hollywood falls when it comes to Brad Pitt versus Angelina Jolie.

The actor made a surprise appearance on stage at the 2017 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday night, where he made a presentation on behalf of Best Motion Picture – Drama nominee (and eventually winner) Moonlight.

But Pitt had to wait a few moments to start talking because the crowd when pretty nuts when he walked up to the microphone.

Matt Damon looked especially tickled and excited to see his former Ocean"s 11 co-star at the event.

It"s hard not to think that Pitt received this kind of reaction due to his split from Jolie.

Does it mean everyone in attendance hates the actress? Not necessarily… although it means they don"t exactly love her, that seems obvious.

But Pitt was accused of child abuse at one point during his ugly divorce from Jolie, with the FBI even investigating charges that he put his hands on 15-year old son Maddox.

So perhaps Pitt"s fellow stars were just giving him a hearty greeting as a show of support after all he"s been through. (He was clearly of all abuse allegations.)

Or perhaps they just despise  Jolie, as @n8coombs wrote on Twitter:

“Extended applause for Brad Pitt = big by proxy f**k you to Angelina #GoldenGlobes."

Watch Pitt"s surprise appearance and the raucous response from the crowd now:

The 2017 Golden Globe Awards, the 73rd annual, aired LIVE from LA-LA Land Sunday, honoring the best of the best from TV and film …

… and whatever the Hollywood Foreign Press Association decided to throw darts at a wall and vote on, for that matter. Ohhhh!

We kid. Mostly. Some of their picks are interesting. That’s the nicest word we can find for it. Anyway, who won Golden Globes?!

With Jimmy Fallon as master of ceremonies, it was guaranteed to be a good time, and possibly the drunkest Globes on record.

Again, we kid. Mostly.

Jimmy made for a memorable, and at times musical night for fans, but the big winners were the TV shows and movies you’d expect.

By and large. Some of the programs and films that took home the coveted hardware surprised us a little, but what about you?

Dwayne Johnson Wishes Daughter Happy Birthday, Melts Hearts Around the Globe

Yup. In case you were wondering:

Dwayne Johnson is still winning at fatherhood.

The professional wrestler turned action star jumped on to Instagram this weekend in order to wish his daughter, Jasmine, a happy four-month birthday.

And also to continue proving why he’s one of the most beloved celebrities in all of Hollywood.

“I’m always asked – What inspires YOU? My answer’s easy and honest.. what inspires me the most is always waitin’ for me to walk thru my front door when I come home,” Johnson wrote as a caption to the above photo.

But he didn’t stop there.

“Happy 4 month birthday Jasmine! One day you’ll know just how happy, proud, lucky and blessed you, your sister and your mama make me.

“You’ll also thank me one day for your toughness and your mama’s everything else.”

Johnson and Lauren Hashian – his girlfriend of nearly a decade – welcomed Jasmine, their first child together, in December.

The former WWE star, who made an appearance at Wrestlemania this month, recently brought his 14-year-old daughter, Simone (whose mom is Johnson’s ex-wife Dany Garcia), as his date to the MTV Movie Awards.

He co-hosted that event on April 9.

Yes, Johnson ca do it all: host, act, wrestle and dote just as well as the very best fathers in the world.

Lady Gaga Wins Golden Globe Award, Bumps Into Leonardo DiCaprio

Lady Gaga took home her first-ever award for acting on Sunday night.

But that honor wasn’t what had people talking in regard to Gaga after the 2016 Golden Globe Awards.

After hearing her name announced for Best Actress in a Limited Series or TV Movie, Lady Gaga made her to way to the stage.

She passed numerous A-Listers on the way there, including a table occupied by Leonardo DiCaprio, who was laughing heartily along with his friends and co-stars.

Were they mocking Gaga’s victory?

It sure seemed that way, based on DiCaprio’s priceless reaction after Gaga bumped into him. See for yourself:

Oops! Awkward! Also: hilarious!

If Gaga was award that Leo was making fun of her, she didn’t let on during an emotional acceptance speech.

While she failed to mention fiance Taylor Kinney, Gaga did give shout-outs to American Horror Story creator Ryan Murphy, as well as all of her co-stars on that FX drama.

The singer-turned actress also thanked her parents and sister, noting,

“The things I put my body through, my mind through when I’m working – it makes me like a child. And you allow that and you take care of me.”

Gaga actually started to get played off by the music, saying toward the end of her message that she is “truly speechless.” Which was clearly not the case at all.

It was very obviously the opposite, not that we’re judging her. We’d be psyched to win a Golden Globe Award, too!

Watch the full speech below:

But back to DiCaprio, who later won Best Actor in a Drama for his role in The Revenant:

Do you think he was shading Lady Gaga before he got caught?
