Halle Berry: Pregnant at 50?!
Back in January, Janet Jackson gave birth to her first child at the age of 50.
Both mother and son are healthy, and many a lengthy thinkpiece has been written about Jackson inspiring a new trend of women giving birth later in life, because it’s 2017 and a lengthy thinkpiece is written about every damn thing that happens anywhere.
Last night, all that speculation began to seem slightly less ridiculous thanks to the latest photos of Halle Berry:
Obviously, it goes without saying that Halle remains impossibly gorgeous and is likely as close to physical perfection as the human race will ever get.
This isn’t one of those cases where a bunch of people over-analyzed a single pic and shamed Halle for a lack of flawless washboard abs.
Halle is rocking body language in these pics that simply brings to mind pregnancy.
The way she’s touching her stomach, the sly Mona Lisa “I’ve got a secret” smile …
Halle’s basically stopping just short of turning down booze and perusing a book of baby names here.
What we’re saying is, it’s not hard to see how the rumors got started.
But despite appearances to the contrary, it seems Halle is very much not expecting.
The mother of two took to social media today to shoot down the rumor in cryptic fashion, writing:
“Can a girl have some steak and fries??”
It’s worth noting (as many already have) that Halle didn’t come right out and say, “Nope! I’m not pregnant!”
But we think the message is pretty clear:
Halle’s not knocked up, she’s just beyond the point of starving herself for the red carpet.
And to answer her question: yes, a girl can have some steak and fries.
Hell, anyone can have some steak and fries, and you get bonus points for calling them fries and not “pommes frites.”
Like, why are they fries when they’re served with a burger, but they get a fancy French name when you put them next to filet mignon?
Madness, we say!
Anyway, recent photos of Halle’s kids give the impression that she’s pretty pleased with the family she’s got.
We hate to disappoint, but there probably won’t be any new Berry kids running around anytime soon.
On the plus side, we now know that Halle Berry loves red meat and deep fried foodstuffs, which means her Perfect Human Being title is pretty much cemented.

Halle Berry Shares Rare Picture of Son: What a Cutie!
Halle Berry may not have starred in a hit movie in many years, but the actress is quickly becoming quite a big hit on the Internet.
To close the month of March, for example, Berry treated her 1.3 million Instagram followers to a gorgeous photo of herself without a bra on.
“Me when someone says ‘I’m coming over and I’ve got snacks,"” Berry wrote as a caption to the photo down below, eliciting quite a few VERY positive reactions online.
“Um @halleberry…I’m coming over and I’ve got snacks? #TheNewAllStateMantra,” wrote Questlove, for instance.
Late last week, meanwhile, Berry made headlines for a social media snapshot of a very different kind.
The former Oscar winner gave fans a rare glimpse at son Maceo Martinez, who was enjoying a positively radiant glimpse of the deep blue ocean himself.
“When you find a pair of pj’s that rock your world,” the 50-years old star captioned the sweet image of the three-year-old dressed in rumpled white pajamas, peering out through a window.
The peaceful picture was snapped from behind and does not show the boy’s face.
Berry has always been extra careful to protect her kids from the limelight. She knows how dangerous fame can be for children.
On the rare occasion that she does share photos of little Maceo or her nine-year-old daughter, Nahla Aubry, she makes sure to obscure their eyes, noses and mouth.
We admire Berry for this strategy.
But some idiots out there have actually criticized her for it.
Last October, the actress clapped back at an Instagram troll who somehow took issue with Berry for cropping her kids’ faces out of a photo.
“I’ve noticed you have said this several times now so let me be clear – I’m not at all ashamed of my children,” Berry was forced to write, adding:
“I try to find creative ways to incorporate them into my feed because they are the biggest part of my life, but I also work very hard to keep their identities as private as I can considering they are only children.”
Despite this being an obvious and admirable point of view, Berry continued.
She concluded her reply to this online moron as follows:
“It’s my belief, and I’m not criticizing others who have different beliefs, that it’s my job as their mother to protect their privacy as best I can.
“When they grow and they’re of age and they want to share their images on the internet, that will be for them to decide, not me. Feel me? Have a beautiful day.”
Berry shares young Maceo with ex-husband Olivier Martinez and Nahla with ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry.
She was also previously married to former Major League Baseball outfielder David Justice and singer Eric Benet.
Indeed, Berry hasn’t had the best of luck when it comes to men.
But she has had the best of luck when it comes to her looks (see slideshow, above) and when it comes to producing precious children.
Those are pretty important things, too.

Halle Berry Shares Epic Instagram Pic, Drives Twitter Batty
Halle Berry knows how to make an impression on social media.
The Oscar-winning actress doesn’t post all that many photos on her Instagram page, but when she does… HOLY HOTNESS.
She. Makes. Them. Count.
One year ago, Berry jumped into the Instagram fray via a topless photo that most definitely caught the attention of those across the Web.
But she was facing away from the camera at the time.
The tantalizing prospect of what Berry’s chest would look like if she turned around made for quite an opening Instagram post, but it also left far too much to one’s imagination.
Fortunately for all warm-blooded men, however, Berry has learned from this mistake.
Just consider the image she shared online four weeks ago:
Not shabby, huh?
This seductive snapshot only served as a warm-up act for the Internet-halting photo Berry posted on Thursday evening.
Despite not having any major movies on the way and despite a boring lull in her love life, Berry managed to make endless headlines with the following, bra-free photograph:
“Me when someone says ‘I’m coming over and I’ve got snacks,"” the 50-year old* captioned the photo, which depicts her posing outside with long tousled hair and sans makeup.
(*Yes, Halle Berry is 50 years old!)
Berry is standing with her arms outstretched and the outline of her boobs visible under a sheer white lace dress that plunges to her navel.
And Twitter has A LOT to say about pretty much everything included in this amazing picture.
As of this writing, the photo has nearly 112,000 Likes on Instagram (including one from Tyrese Gibson!) and has elicited reactions such as the following:
“Um @halleberry…I’m coming over and I’ve got snacks? #TheNewAllStateMantra,” wrote Questlove in response to this posting.
A mother of two, Berry said in 2015 that she often felt pressure from Hollywood to go under the knife.
“It is pressure,” she said of getting plastic surgery.
“When you see everybody around you doing it, you have those moments when you think, ‘To stay alive in this business, do I need to do the same thing?"”
Still, Berry has resisted.
And you’ve gotta admire her reason why.
“I just have kept reminding myself that beauty really is as beauty does, and it is not so much about my physical self,” she told Us Weekly, adding:
“Aging is natural, and that’s going to happen to all of us. I just want to always look like myself, even if that’s an older version of myself.”
Yeah.
It’s safe to say that looking like an older version of herself is working out quite well for Berry, isn’t it?
