NeNe Leakes: Getting HUGE Raise to Return to RHOA?!

The title of highest-paid Housewife NeNe Leakes has changed hands several times over the years, but if the latest news about NeNe Leakes’ newest contract is true, then Queen NeNe may be reigning supreme for quite some time.

There have been reports of NeNe being “forced” to return to The Real Housewives of Atlanta, but with the amount of cash producers are offering up, we doubt they had to do much arm-twisting.

According to Radar Online, there are still some details to iron out, but NeNe is on the verge of signing a deal for $ 2.5 million a season, which would make her by far the most well-compensated Housewife in the franchise.

“NeNe is always a ratings plus for the show,” an insider tells the site. “And the producers want to make sure the show stays strong. The reason it stays strong is NeNe, so they’re throwing money at her.”

The deal would bring NeNe a $ 500,000 pay raise. That’s more than most Housewives make in a season, but producers feel Ms. Leakes is worth it, as RHOA suffered lackluster ratings this season – except when NeNe made a cameo.

“Kim [Fields] was not good,” the source says. “The show needed NeNe to make her interesting, and they know that.”

Unfortunately for the network, NeNe is no slouch at the bargaining table:

“NeNe always holds out for as much money as she can get,” the insider claims. “She will string the Bravo people along forever in order to cash in. She’s no dummy.”

NeNe Leakes: FORCED to Return to RHOA??

Last Sunday, NeNe Leakes made a surprise return to The Real Housewives of Atlanta, which caused everyone’s faces to fall to the floor.

“Yes, bitches, I am back!” exclaimed NeNe, who had left the show after season seven.

Apparently the episode did pretty great, because now the show’s executives want her back full time. 

So much so that they are blackmailing her, according to a new report by Radar Online.

When asked to return, NeNe refused, as she wishes to pursue other endeavors.

The Bravo execs were none to happy with her answer and reportedly got the bigwigs at NBC Universal to threaten to take away NeNe’s new co-hosting gig at E!’s Fashion Police unless she commits to Housewives.

NBC Universal is the parent company to both Bravo and E!, so they’re really pulling the strings. And acting like jerks.

“NeNe loves being a part of Fashion Police, but the network is ready to cut ties if she doesn’t agree to their terms,” a source told Radar.

Easily the show’s most famous Housewife, Bravo realizes that the show just isn’t the same without NeNe.

“Bravo execs want to bring NeNe back full time next year,” a source told Radar. “The fans miss NeNe and even though there is tons of drama this year without her, with her back, it would just take the show to the next level.”

However, NeNe wants to move on to bigger and better things.

“NeNe seems to think she is better than doing reality television and has moved on from RHOA,” said the source. “Going back would be a step back in her plan to become a global brand.”

Now that this cat is out of the bag, will NBC Universal reconsider?

If fans know NeNe was doing RHOA against her will, would they boycott the show?

Ehhh, doubt it.

Nene Leakes Returns To RHOA: "Yes, B--ches, I am Back!"

"Pick your faces up off the floor, she"s back."

Those are the words of a woman glad to be back on her home turf.

This Sunday, Nene Leakes returns to The Real Housewives of Atlanta after leaving after season seven to pursue other endeavors.

During her time out from RHOA, Leakes has been involved with E!"s Fashion Police, played Mama Morton on Broadway"s Chicago, and duked it out with the ladies from The View.

"I felt like season seven was really hard.  I felt like there were times when I felt really ganged up on.  

"Imagine all of you girls coming at one person at a table," Leakes explained to the co-hosts back in November.

"I can handle myself, Whoopi," she said to Goldberg.  "You know me.  But, it"s not cool.  It"s not fair for everybody to come at you at once, and to make you appear to be something that you"re not."

Leakes has never closed the door on the franchise, which turned her into a huge star – she reportedly made over $ 1 million per season.

"Housewives have been very good to me.  It"s opened up many doors and opportunities for me," Leakes said on the show.

RHOA: Cynthia Bailey Flips Out on Porsha Williams

You try to keep the peace, and it blows up in your pretty little face.

In an attempt to smooth over a battle between Shamea Morton and Kenya Moore, Cynthia Bailey found herself butting heads with Porsha Williams on last night"s The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

It was like something out of a Real Housewives parody when Moore called out Morton for saying there was water in her tester bottles at Moore"s hair care launch party.

Morton was unapologetic, and when Moore declared herself a "very successful, proud black woman," Morton feigned happiness and clapped.

"I"m so proud of you," Morton teased in the video on Radar.  "And congratulations, Miss America."

Well, then.

Moore walked over to the captain and asked him to escort Morton off the boat.  He was probs like, "seriously?"

Bailey got up to try and convince Moore that things got out of hand, but she was taunted by her castmates in the process.  

Kandi Burress and Williams teased Bailey, calling her Moore"s "best friend."  Williams took the teasing further, calling Bailey a "bitch."

Oh hell. 

"Don’t call me a b–ch. I’m not calling you out of your name,” Bailey turned around and said to Williams.

Things got super out-of-hand and in a teaser for next week"s episode, we see Williams being restrained on her back.
