"Titanic" Stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet Together in Saint-Tropez

Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet will always be linked whether they’re near, far or wherever they are … but it’s always best to see them together. The famous “Titanic” couple hung out at Leo’s villa in Saint-Tropez, France in late July … and…

Kate Winslet: Not Pregnant, Just Wore a Weird Dress At The Oscars

But they were stroking her belly!

During the 88th Annual Academy Awards, Cate Blanchett and Best Actress winner Brie Larson were spotted stroking Kate Winslet’s dress, which many assumed was because Winslet was pregnant.

Nope.  Sources told TMZ that the two stars were just fascinated with Winslet’s dress material, and wanted to feel it.

Winslet, who won Best Actress in 2008 for her role in The Reader, wore a custom silk Ralph Lauren Collection Gown to the ceremony.  Truth be told, the material made it look more like a GLAD trash bag (forgive me, Kate. ILY.)

Winslet is mother to three children – Mia, 15, Joe, 12 from her first two marriages, and Bear, 2 with husband Ned Rocknroll.

The British star was nominated for Best Supporting Actress this year, but lost to The Danish Girl’s Alicia Vikander.

Winslet was there for more than a nomination, though.  Her longtime friend and co-star Leonardo DiCaprio finally went home with an Oscar (Best Actor, The Revenant), and there was no better person to witness it than Rose herself.

“I think you can sort of feel it, and I think that everyone wants it for [DiCaprio],” Winslet told BBC News last month.

“It would be amazing … You can sort of feel the temperature. It’s probably going to be Leo’s year.”

Kate Winslet Opens Up About Both Her Divorces — "F*ck Me, It Hasn"t Been Easy"

After the smashing success of Titanic in 1997, Kate Winslet quickly realized it was going to be difficult to keep her personal life private.

The world watched as she met her first husband, director Jim Threapleton, on the set of Hideously Kinky, and then as they got married in 1998.

But after three years and one child together, the two called it quits. The actress admitted in WSJ Magazine that, while she was able to keep the details under wraps, all the tabloid attention took its toll:

“No one teaches you, and also no one particularly helps you. It’s a very specific thing to ask people to understand. ‘So-and-so was mean about me in the newspaper.’ ‘Oh, just ignore it.’ But you can’t, because it’s not true.”

It wasn’t too long after her first marriage that she fell for another director, Sam Mendes. After they tied the knot, they also had a kid.

This relationship lasted a solid seven years before the two decided to split. The English beauty vented about the frustration of going through multiple marriages, especially with the media hounding her:

“I know lots of people who are not in the public eye who have gone through several marriages, I really do, and it’s just those are the cards that life dealt me. I didn’t plan on its being that way. And f*ck me, it hasn’t been easy, you know.”

But even though it was difficult to prevent all her divorce drama from leaking, Kate commends herself for successfully keeping her secrets, well, secret:

“No one really knows what has happened in my life. No one really knows why my first marriage didn’t last; no one knows why my second didn’t. And I’m proud of those silences.”

But she hasn’t been hiding the love she has for her current husband, Ned Rocknroll, saying:

“Thank God for Ned—really. He’s just so incredibly supportive, and he’s so much fun. He’s absolutely everything to me. And to all of us.”

We’re glad that the star seems happy now. Sometimes it takes a couple tries to really get it right!
