Fear the Walking Season 1 Episode 3 Recap: Not Very Neighborly

We opened Fear the Walking Season 1 Episode 3 with Travis telling Ofelia that looters would never break into her dad’s barber shop.

For what purpose, he figured? Comb thievery?!?

But once the fire got out of control, this group of hopeful survivors was forced to move nonetheless. When scaffolding fell on Griselda, Travis carried her to his trick and then to the hospital.

Upon seeing the insane scene there, Daniel suggested they go to his house and then, he reasoned, “we will be even.”

Meanwhile, over at Maddie’s, Nick tried to convince his mom that Travis would not be coming back.

Sensing that the need for protection was now stronger than ever, Maddie, Nick and Alicia snuck into the home of their missing neighbors (Patrick and Susan) to borrow a rifle that the junkie had once tried to steal.

This actually worked out quite well… until they spotted Mr. Dawson attacking a German Shepherd in their home!

After Travis arrived and Maddie raced through Susan’s garden to get him before Dawson could, Alicia doubled back for more ammunition. Only to get attached by a now-zombie Susan!

In the end, Daniel shot Mr. Dawson in the head, thereby saving Travis, while Alicia nearly broke Chris’ nose when he rode to her rescue.

From there, Travis announced that the two families (now blended into one) would NOT be hitting the road until the morning and Ofelia made a strong case to Daniel for going with them.

However, in spite of his wife’s injury, he told his daughter that “this is the wrong time to be in someone else’s debt.”

Nearby, Liza asked Maddie if, as parents, they could support one another during this trying time. Rather than just respond in the affirmative, Maddie actually told Travis’ ex to kill her if she became a zombie.

The next day, Travis convinced Maddie not to put Susan out of her misery.

She still ended up dead, however, because Patrick arrived home and, just as Susan was se to devour her husband, she was gunned down by soldiers.

When all settled down and a blood-spattered Patrick had been taken away by the army, Maddie – concerned that her family would be quarantined, too – lied to the authorities that none of them had been exposed

“The cavalry’s arrived,” Travis said, trying to reassure his mom. “It’s gonna get better now.”

But Daniel did not agree, telling everyone to conclude an intense hour: “It’s already too late.”

Kylie Jenner Kisses Tyga on Snapchat!

Kylie Jenner and Tyga are totally a romantic item.

This has been made fairly clear in recent weeks, considering Tyga wrote a song about penetrating Kylie.

Kylie, meanwhile, has posed for a photo shoot in which she exposes her cleavage and also placed a stuffed tiger over the most private of parts

Get it? Tiger? Tyga? Not exactly too subtle on Jenner"s part there.

But in case anyone somehow still doubted the status of this reality star (18 years old) and this rapper (25 years old), Kylie has put all questions to rest by sharing the video featured here.

She posted it to Snapchat and it features Kylie kissing Tyga after Alexander Wang"s fashion show for New York Fashion Week.

If you can stomach it, watch Kylie nibble on her boyfriend"s mouth and teeth now … not exactly trying to hide it anymore, are they?

Britney Spears and Harry Morton: Dating!

Well, that’s random. Britney Spears and Harry Morton, a well-known Hollywood figure (at least back in the day) are apparently an item.

The two intimate dinner together in Studio City, Calif. on Friday, and from the looks of it, the pair weren’t just having a friendly meetup.

Spears, 33, and Morton, 34, could be seen getting animated in conversation at Iroha Sushi, and a source confirms it was in fact a date.

Morton, the grandson of Morton’s Steakhouse founder Arnie Morton, is the CEO of the Pink Taco and co-owner of the Viper Room.

He is also known in celebrity circles for having been involved with A-listers, or whatever you would call Lindsay Lohan these days.

Spears, meanwhile, split up with Charlie Ebersol in June, after about eight months together; previously, Britney dumped David Lucado.

“I just felt that he was in it for the wrong reasons,” a source said of Ebersol, though neither party has commented on the breakup.

The singer quietly deleted all photos of Ebersol from her Instagram, suggesting that there may be some bad blood (hey!) lingering.

Prior to Ebersol and Lucado, Britney was engaged to Jason Trawick for a year, and had two kids with ex-husband Kevin Federline.

I Am Cait Finale Recap: Jenner Rips Ex, Finds God

On Sunday’s season finale of I Am Cait, the emotional and spiritual journey of Caitlyn Jenner reached its peak on the E! television network.

She clashed with ex-wife Kris, but found a higher power.

Whereas last week was a mere tease of the Kris-Caitlyn showdown, I Am Cait Season 1 Epsiode 8 was the main event. It didn’t disappoint.

The long and short of it: Kris is pissed about the content of Caitlyn’s landmark Vanity Fair article, while Cait feels that Kris abandoned her.

In Vanity Fair, Cait insinuated that their marriage ended because Kris did not accept her transgender identity, and “mistreated” her in life.

Kris denies, and is devastated by this, but Cait insists it ended 80 percent due to drama and 20 percent due to her lack of acceptance.

Caitlyn, in Kris’ view, doesn’t treat her own family with this newfound “sensitivity” people adore her for, but Cait stands by her VF quotes.

As for the fact that Cait was not invited to Kylie Jenner’s graduation party, she is PISSED about the snub, and Kris doesn’t deny doing it.

“I didn’t want to communicate with you and be angry,” she said.

Fortunately, rather than letting this deteriorate further and devolve into bitterness, they agree to work on their relationship, and move on.

It clearly won’t be romantic and it won’t even be free of tension, but at least they took a selfie together and buried the hatchet somewhat.

In all seriousness, things could have been a whole lot worse.

If you watch I Am Cait online, you’ve seen Caitlyn struggle at times to get to know the LGBT community and what its members are all about.

Ironically, Cait is the best known transgender person in the world, despite being one of the newest, and most unique – almost an outsider.

In her defense, it’s inherently complicated. Spirituality and religion are complex issues that many in the community can’t come to grips with.

Activist Allyson Robinson, who is both deeply religious and trans, looks at religion and God not as enemies, as some might think they are.

“God doesn’t love us in spite of who we are, God loves us because of who we are,” she says of the support system she hopes they will find.

The episode, and season, conclude around a “renaming” ceremony for Caitlyn, and for Jenner and her squad, it’s cause for celebration.

What’s in a name? Only reinventing her entire image and devoting herself to educating people about being transgender, including herself.

There have been plenty of ups and downs and she is not the perfect role model, but the fact of the matter is, Caitlyn is groundbreaking.

“The transgender community, this is my place and this is where I belong,” she says, and we could not be happier to have joined on this ride.
