Lamar Odom: Fans Offer to Donate Kidneys to Ailing NBA Star

Lamar Odom may have recovered miraculously after nearly dying from an overdose last week, but the former NBA star is still far from out of the woods.

The 35-year-old has emerged from his coma, but he’s still in a dangerous place, as several of his organs are reportedly not functioning as they should be.

Just last night, it was reported that Odom is in a “fragile mental state” after having undergone several invasive procedures in a short period of time.

Hospital sources say Odom’s most severe issues stem from damage to his kidneys. He remains hooked up to dialysis machines and will almost certainly require a transplant at some point.

Fortunately, a legion of devoted fans has Lamar’s back  – and maybe his kidneys.

Yes, TMZ is reporting that dozens of supporters have contacted Odom and Khloe Kardashian through social media in order to offer up their kidneys.

Naturally, many have jokingly (we hope) tweeted that they’d like to sell Lamar a kidney, but even more have simply provided their contact information and blood type in hopes of helping to save Odom’s life.

Reps for Odom have not yet replied to any of the offers, but there may come a time when Lamar will need to reach out to a fan and accept the gift of life.

Persistent Cat Really Wants to Jump from Chair to Table

It"s been documented time and again: cats are really bad at jumping. They simply do not possess mad hops.

No one will ever mistake a cat for Kobe Bryant or LeBron James, that much is for sure. It"s just now how they roll.

Consider this feline who attempted to leap from a car to a roof. Or the one who tried to jump through a car window in order to join his human friends and… well… OUCH!

But the pet featured in the following video refuses to give up the fight. Or he refuses to give up the jump, to be more precise.

And you"ve gotta admire him for it.

We see him at first get up on the arm of a chair and simply go for it, taking off for the table just a couple feet away (if that, that may be a generous estimate, to be honest).

CRASH! SPLAT! He fails and falls to the ground. In rather painful fashion, no less.

And the dog is too embarrassed on his behalf to even stick around for the next attempt.

But there is another attempt… and then another… and another. This is one persistent animal!

Does that persistence pay off? Does he finally make like the highest-jumping cat in history and land the leap? Can we take an important life lesson in believing in oneself from this most unlikely of sources?

Admire this furry guy"s never-say-die attitude, check out the video and find out now.

Dr. Arnold Klein Dies; Friend of Michael Jackson, Rumored Father of Prince Jackson Was 70

TMZ is reporting that Dr. Arnold Klein has passed away.

Klein was best known as a friend and personal physician of Michael Jackson’s. He was also the subject of persistent rumors that he was the biological father of Jackson’s children

Dr. Arnold Klein

Coincidentally, it was just earlier this week that 18-year-old Prince Jackson admitted for the first time that Jackson is probably not his biological father. He did not, however, offer any indication as to his father might be.

Klein was reportedly admitted to a hospital in Palm Springs earlier this week after complaining of severe abdominal pain.

He suffered from multiple sclerosis and was bound to a wheelchair for the last several months of his life.

Klein was investigated for supplying Jackson with drugs following the music legend’s death, but he was never charged with any crimes.

In addition to his work with Jackson, Klein was well-known in the medical community for his pioneering work with Kaposi’s sarcoma, a form of skin cancer often found in AIDS patients.

Jackson sought Klein out due to his reputation as one of the world’s most skilled and knowledgeable dermatologists, but their relationship quickly took on a personal component, and Klein often spent holidays with Jackson and his children.

Adele Says "Hello" with New Song, Video

Adele is back.

And it"s safe to say the singer has not lost a single step note.

Following a lengthy hiatus, the ultra-talented artist has dropped a new song and an affiliated new video for “Hello,” unveiling visually-stunning footage directed by Xavier Dolan.

The ballad, which serves as an ode to an ex-lover, will be included on Adele’s upcoming record, “25.” It will come out on November 20.

"Hello from the other side," Adele sings beautifully on the track, continuing as only she can:

"I must have called a thousand times to tell you; I’m sorry, for everything that I’ve done; But when I call you never seem to be home."

In an open letter shared earlier in the week, Adele wrote to fans of the album:

Turning 25 was a turning point for me, slap bang in the middle of my twenties .. Teetering on the edge of being an old adolescent and a fully-fledged adult, I made the decision to go into becoming who I"m going to be forever without a removal van full of my old junk.

I miss everything about my past, the good and the bad, but only because it won"t come back.

Take a listen to the gorgeous single now and let the countdown to Adele"s 11-track album officially begin.
