Miley Cyrus Licks a Piano in The Name of Charity

Outrageous photos of Miley Cyrus have lost that shock value.

 After that VMA performance with Robin Thicke, even the most conservative among us shrug their shoulders and turn their attention to more pressing matters, like Starbucks red cups.

This latest photo, however, has a whole lotta good behind it.  On Saturday night, Cyrus attended the Los Angeles LGBT Center’s 46th Anniversary Gala Vanguard Awards, where Jane Fonda planted a kiss on her tummy.

During the show, a signed white grand piano – donated by Orange is the New Black‘s Ruby Rose – was being auctioned off.  To sweeten the deal, singer-songwriter Linda Perry invited Cyrus on stage to lick it, which worked because the piano went for $ 50,000.

Cyrus was also presented with a Vanguard award for her work with the LGBT community.

“I want all of you to know that I feel beyond grateful to be in a room full of so many…people who care so much about others because unfortunately that is way too rare in the world that we live in today,” Cyrus said, according to E! News.

“I’m thinking of tonight not as celebrating what we’ve already done but what we’re doing and what we’re going to do in the future.

“Given the opportunity to sit in on one of the support groups, I walked away with the feeling of self love that I had never been able to give myself before,” Cyrus continued.  

“The LGBT Center had the key to the lock on my cage and they set me free and I want to continue to do the same for others.”

Yup, she’s smart AND beautiful. Crawford earned Valedictorian status at DeKalb High School in 1984.

Here’s a fun fact: Kevin Spacey was co-Valedictoria at Chatsworth High School with actress Mare Winningham.

6. Jodie Foster

Jodie Foster earned this honor at Lycee Francais de Los Angeles in 1980.

Blake Shelton Teases "INSANE" Announcement to Come

Blake Shelton divorced Miranda Lambert just a couple months ago and is now dating Gwen Stefani.

That’s pretty insane.

But it’s nothing compared to what Shelton claims he’ll pass along to viewers on The Today Show tomorrow.

“Just when things were about to quiet down around here… I’ve got something BIG to announce tomorrow. #shocking #staytuned,” Shelton Tweeted on Monday morning, adding:

“No chance y’all are gonna guess this one. It’s just WAY too insane…”

Is Shelton releasing a new album? Nope, he replied.

Is he pregnant?!?

“Ha!!!!! No I just look like it,” he wrote back.

Hmmm… might that seemingly insane tabloid story about Shelton marrying Stefani actually be true?!?

“No weddings on the horizon,” he responded to this question.

Perhaps Blake and Gwen are releasing a duet, as has also been rumored. But that would qualify as new music, right

“It’s a combination of the two,” he wrote to someone who asked whether the announcement was “personal or professional,” further teasing followers:

“Got you thinking now huh?”

He surely does.

Shelton has been making headlines for weeks now due to his romance with Stefani.

The artist was subject to a number of jokes on the topic at the Country Music Awards and there’s even been talk of him cheating on Lambert with Stefani.

But Blake doesn’t seem too bothered by any of this chatter, recently writing on Twitter that his life is awesome.

UPDATE: Shelton will be hosting the 2016 Kids Choice Awards. It’s unclear whether this was his “insane” announcement, however.

It’s cool, but seems fairly sane to us.

DASH Dolls Season 1 Episode 8 Recap: Major Shake Ups at DASH!

It’s. About. To. Go. Down.

DASH Dolls Season 1 Episode 8 marked the inevitable moment when the fit hit the shan amongst the Kardashian hangers-on and someone paid the price.

The season finale of the Keeping Up With the Kardashians spinoff marked the end of its inaugural run on E! and with it, Melody’s run on the show.

No longer able to fulfill her responsibilities, which are truly immense as occupational roles go, she suffered the consequences and got booted out.

Melody had been enjoying a boost in her modeling career, but with that came a loss of time and time management, and the other Dolls were pissed.

Khadija was forced to cover for her more frequently, and because Khloe Kardashian had warned them about this, Khadija and Malika had to tell her.

The boss lady then brought the hammer down on Melody, as you’ll see when you watch DASH Dolls online. She sure can be tough when need be.

It wasn’t personal, of course, but that’s the way it goes in business. When Mel broke down in tears, everyone in the DASH house felt bad for the girl.

Elsewhere, Stephanie and Colin decided to call it off once he got sprung from jail and she immediately found out he was using drugs again. Yikes.

In an attempt to save the relationship, she took him to counseling and eventually staged an intervention, which sure happens a lot on TV it seems.

Bottom line: Colin chose drugs over his girl. Good riddance in that case, but here’s hoping he pulls it together before he wastes his life on this path.

Durrani and Shalom also reached a breaking point when her brother Abdullah visits and is shocked to learn that his sister is dating a Jewish man.

Abdullah reluctantly agrees to meet him, but the tension is palpable and Abdullah tells their parents about the romance, at which point they cut her off.

Shalom and Durrani have a long talk about the future, though, and she says she may even convert to Judaism for him. This is serious stuff, people.
