Kim Kardashian: Breastfeeding, Donating to Charity

For the first time since giving birth to a son named Saint West, the reality star has taken to Twitter and given fans an update on her condition.

And she actually did so while providing sustenance to her child.

“I’m up breastfeeding,” Kim started, before launching into a series of Tweets based on her viewing of a show titled Dish Nation.

“I heard the cutest story of a girl who is trying to find 1000 pairs of shoes to donate to this charity Soles For Souls! They helped her during Hurricane Katrina. I think I know the designer of Shoe of the Year Award!”

But Kim isn’t just bragging here about her connections.

She’s actually using the opportunity to give back to a good cause.

“Kanye and I would love to donate those 1000 shoes to Soles For Souls,” she Tweeted of her and husband Kanye West.

Darn. That’s a very nice gesture. We can’t make fun of Kardashian at all for it, which is no fun.

The 35-year old welcomed her second child into the world last Saturday.

We’re yet to see a photo of little Saint, but we have heard (from Khloe Kardashian) that he’s super cute and we’ve also heard (from imaginary sources) that North West is unhappy with her sibling.

That’s natural, though. We’re sure she’ll come around soon.

In the meantime, let’s all sigh and stop and give some credit to Kim Kardashian for this charitable effort.

Perhaps motherhood really is changing her.

Kate Gosselin Admits to Physically Abusing Her Children in Shocking Journal Entries!

On Tuesday, Kate Plus 8 returned to TLC and series star/perennial mother of the year candidate Kate Gosselin has been making the press rounds in support of the show that made her famous.

Of course, media attention has always been a double-edged sword for Kate, and her show’s return from a lengthy hiatus has been accompanied by a new round of accusations that Gosselin is an abusive mother who’s not equipped for the task of raising eight kids.

This time, the allegations supposedly come straight from Kate’s own diary, excepts of which have been published in the Robert Hoffman tell-all Kate Gosselin: How She Fooled the World:

“Mady was grouchy and received a few spankings with the spanker that newly joined the emergency supply stash in the big blue bus!!!! She eventually happied up!” reads one of the tamer entries from 2006.

Kate’s frustration – and abuse – escalate as the journal entries progress, eventually reaching the point where she casually discusses striking her son Colin with an object and pulling his hair:

“I am too rough with him and the girls see that,” Kate writes. “I feel so guilty that I treated him like that that I will set out tomorrow to be a better mommy.”

She goes on to describe a 2007 incident in which she fleew into a rage after the 2-year-old knocked over some high chairs:

“I grabbed him and spanked him as hard as I could and thought I may seriously injure him so I sent him to his crib…. And whipped him into it very hard!…I pulled Collin up by the hair [and] spanked him.” 

Kate also admits to striking children Alexis and Aaden with an unspecified object.

She frequently expresses remorse for her actions, and at one point even speculates that she and then-husband Jon may not be fit to raise so many children:

“Things spiraled quickly into a big ugly argument where Jon said really ugly things in front of the girls numerous times and he scared me about his sanity, seriously!” she writes. “I feel like we are the worst parents in the whole world!”

Hollywood Foreign Press Assocation Confuses Gina Rodriguez and America Ferrara

Well, this is awkward.

While tweeting a photo from this morning’s 2016 Golden Globe nominations, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association thought presenter America Ferrara was Jane The Virgin‘s Gina Rodriguez.

“The @goldenglobes noms are about to start! @HereIsGina @ChloeGMoretz @ImAngelaBasset #DenisQuaid #Golden Globes,” HFPA tweeted. 

According to Page Six, Buzzfeed entertainment reporter Jarett Weiselman was the first to catch the mistake.

“Yeah, that’s America Ferrera not Gina Rodriguez, official #GoldenGlobes Twitter account…”

I mean, it was 5:30 in the morning there, but still.

What’s worse, four minutes before that Tweet, they made the same mistake.

“.@HereIsGina is kicking off the @goldenglobes nominations announcements #GoldenGlobes.”

Oooof.

Rodriguez won a Golden Globe for her role in the CW series last year; she’s nominated again this year.

Yolanda Foster: Divorce From David Helped Her Heal

It’s a continuous battle, but one that has recently become easier to fight.

After Yolanda and David Foster announced their separation on December 1st,  story upon story about the cause of their split has plagued the former couple.  

From jealousy over careers, to Foster’s search for a cure for Lyme disease, the couple of four years struggled to make their marriage work.

Sources tell TMZ that Yolanda was convinced that problems with David only made her Lyme disease worse.

“Yolanda constantly leaned on David during their marriage, but toward the end he was traveling a lot and she couldn’t handle the change and got really sick as a result,” the source said.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star has “no expectation of David being around,” which has allegedly done wonders for her recovery.

“Yolanda’s still struggling with Lyme disease, but she’s mobile again and feels she’s on the mend.”

Yolanda, for her part, touched briefly on the matter on her BravoTV blog.

“I can say that the sale of our Malibu home, financial matters, nor infidelity played a role in our decision,” she wrote, making no mention of her disease.

Lisa Rinna spoke about the split on Heather Dubrow’s podcast, mentioning that the announcement was made the same day as RHOBH’s season six premiere.

“I think it’s a real interesting choice, to be honest, that you would announce this on the day we premiere,” Rinna said. “I was really thrown for a loop [last Tuesday], as I’m sure everyone was.”

Yup.
