Will Smith: I May Run for President!
In his new movie, Concussion, Will Smith portrays a doctor who takes on the National Football League.
In a new interview, however, the actor says he has considered an even more monumental task: Taking on all political contenders… as a nominee for President of the United States!
Speaking to Tracy Smith of CBS and making a clear reference to Donald Trump, Smith said the following over the weekend:
“If people keep saying all the crazy kinds of stuff they’ve been saying on the news lately about walls and Muslims, they’re going to force me into the political arena.”
Smith then asked the more famous Smith if he had a specific office in mind, to which he replied:
“I mean, I gotta be the President. Come on!”
Trump’s views on women, immigrants and Muslims (along with the mere fact of his incomprehensible popularity) have caused many celebrities to consider a run for the Oval Office.
Kanye West famously said he’ll be on a Presidential ticket in 2020, while Lindsay Lohan has also threatened a political run.
But is Will Smith serious?
He did tell Tracy Smith that his dream of being a movie star is accomplished, yet it feels “too small,” adding:
“I realized that there was no way that I was put here just to be a movie star.”
Might he have been put here to negotiate nuclear arms deals and NOT ban Muslims from entering America?
Stay tuned!
Khloe Kardashian Pays Tribute to "Most Important Men" in Her Life
While the Internet remains on fire due to the new man in Kourtney Kardashian’s life (IT’S JUSTIN BIEBER!!!!!), Khloe Kardashian has come out with a tribute to the two “most important men” in her life.
James Harden? Lamar Odom? Nope and nope. Try again, folks.
In a new blog entry for her official website, Khloe instead turns her focus to Kourtney’s pair of songs.
She has nothing but nice things to say about six-year old Mason Disick and one-year old Reign Disick.
Referring to these small humans as “the two most important men in my life,” Khloe wrote of Mason, who celebrated his birthday yesterday:
“You are turning into such an amazing little man! I love our Auntie KoKo and Mason time and I can’t wait to celebrate with you today.”
As for Reign, who was born in December of 2014?
“For a one-year-old, you’ve got some serious style, LOL! Seeing your precious little face gives me life!!!” Khloe wrote.
So much for tough love, huh? These are just examples of love. Period. Full stop.
Khloe’s kind words came just over a week after she welcomed her third nephew, Saint West.
And his famous mother, Kim Kardashian, shared her own birthday messages for the boys on Instagram:
“Happy Birthday Mason! You were the 1st born and changed everything! I can’t believe you are 6 years old! I love you more than you can ever imagine!”
She added of Reign:
“Happy Birthday to the sweetest baby Reign. Explaining to Mason that his little brother wanted to be just like him that he even took his birthday was a fun task lol.
“I can’t wait for you & Saint to be bff’s!”
Love & Hip Hop Season 6 Episode 1 Recap: Who Wears the Crown?
Last night, Love & Hip Hop Season 6 Episode 1 made a triumphant return to VH1, as Remy Ma made his long-awaited comeback to boot.
After six years behind bars. Meanwhile, Yandy Smith and Mendeecees Harris are facing the possibility of him doing some hard time.
If you watch Love & Hip Hop online, you knew coming in that there would be no shortage of drama with these lunatics. You were correct.
We begin with new cast member Remy Ma, who was released last year from a New York prison after serving six years in the pen.
Her husband, the rapper Papoose, is tasked with trying to keep Ma out of trouble because she’s on parole. Not an easy task right there.
He wants to make sure she never misses curfew, unable to bear the thought of his wife going back to the can and leaving him again.
Papoose asks Remy about them having a child together (both have kids from previous relationships), but she wants a wedding first.
A real wedding, not the one they had over the phone in jail.
No one can say Papoose didn’t take those words to heart. He whisked Remy Ma away to a castle where he proposed all over again.
Yandy and Mendeecees could use some of that magic.
Even after he singed a plea deal, Mendeecees and Yandy learned that he is very possibly headed back to prison for eight years.
That would be a pretty big relationship buzzkill there.
It wouldn’t be Love & Hip Hop without the man, the myth, the legend Peter Gunz, and his drama with Tara Wallace and Amina Buddafly.
It’s just as messy as it was last year, which is impressive really. Peter is cheating on Amina with Tara, and that’s not even all:
Both ladies are now living in the same damn building!
Amina accuses him of banging Tara, which he denies, and hopefully sets the stage for another whole season of this charade.
Meanwhile, Yandy is managing Young B, who had a hit once but needs a career boost, and lands a role on a cypher DJ Self is having.
Of course, Young B’s nemesis Moe is also in the cypher with Sexxy Lexxy and Mariah Lynn, and an epic freestyle battle ensues.
Then an actual battle. Which security has to break up.
