Happy Presidents Day: Should These Stars Be in Charge?

Donald Trump is in.

Kanye West claims he will be in for the 2020 election.

But let"s be honest: neither of these stars should be in charge of the free world.

Which celebrities should actually run for President? Who might get elected and who might not even do a terrible job? We can think of a few candidates…

1. Oprah Winfrey

Look, she already has the shirt! She just has to get rid of like two letters and Oprah is all set. Seriously, though, Winfrey may be the most influential celebrity of all-time (just ask any author with a title in her book club). She actually could bring both sides together.

2. Matt Damon

The co-founder of Water.org, Damon cares about global issues, is well spoken, is a strong family man… and he makes really good movies!

3. George Clooney

Be honest: you had never heard of Darfur until George Clooney brought the war torn nation into the news. He has his eyes on prizes that extend far behind the Oscars.

4. Jon Stewart

He’s spending his post-Daily Show days inside a WWE ring. Clearly, the guy needs something better to do. Over the years, he morphed from a comedian to one of the sole voices of reason whenever the topic of politics arose. He also influenced the passing of an actual bill to help 9/11 rescue workers.

5. Tina Fey

She has (fake) debate experience, thanks to her impressions of Sarah Palin on Saturday Night Live. She’s funny. She’s popular. And she may earn millions of votes from people who think she IS Palin.

6. Morgan Freeman

Morgan Freeman is outspoken and widely respected. We dare anyone to hear his voice and somehow refrain from voting for him.

Jim Bob & Michelle Duggar: Criticized For Visiting Jill & Derick Dillard

Last week, we reported that Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar were in El Salvador to visit Jill and Derick Dillard.

The trip came as a surprise to fans who were under the impression that Jill and Derick had returned to Arkansas due to their fears about contracting the Zika virus.

Of course, these days it seems that everything the Duggars do stirs up controversy, and Jim Bob and Michelle’s trip to Central America was no exception.

In fact, this time there are multiple controversies surrounding what at first appears to be an innocent trip to visit family.

First, some irate social media users expressed their outrage over the fact that Jim Bob and Michelle took a trip without bringing all of their many, many children. 

“Wow Mom and Dad get to go on vacation? Who’s watching their children? Oh wait, they watch themselves smh,” wrote one fan on the Duggars’ Facebook page.

“Must be nice ma and pa can just take off and not to give a sh-t about all of their kids at home. THEY are useless parents,” wrote another.

Frankly, we’re sympathetic to Jim Bob and Michelle.

When you have so many kids that it would probably be cheaper to charter a private jet than to buy them all seats in coach, you might have to just leave them home sometimes.

Some fans weren’t upset about the fact that most of the brood was left in the States, but did feel that the Duggars were putting their kids at risk by traveling to an area of the world that’s fighting a virus about which little is known.

While the most commonly reported symptoms of Zika have involved birth defects in children of infected mothers, scientists have not ruled out the possibility that the illness could have damaging long-term effects on men, non-pregnant women, and children.

Many feel the Duggars unnecessarily put themselves and their massive brood at risk by traveling to El Salvador and promptly returning to their house full of children.

And then there’s the issue of why the Duggars chose to make a surprise, brief visit to Jill and her husband.

For weeks now, reports that Jill is pregnant with her second child have been circulating online, and the Dillards have done nothing to dispel the rumors.

Did the Duggars head to Central America to offer their congratulations in person?

It may be a while until we find out, but you can be sure the topic will be addressed when the family returns to television later this year.

In the meantime, there will no doubt be plenty of new Duggar scandals to keep the family in the tabloids.

Blac Chyna Inspires Rob Kardashian to Launch Clothing Line

On Valentine’s Day, Rob Kardashian showered Blac Chyna with presents, but sources say she’s given him something far more valuable: a renewed sense of purpose.

You might remember that before he became the reclusive Kardashian, Rob was designing a line of high-end socks for men.

Hey, everyone needs a storyline for their reality show career goals, right?

Rob kinda got away from the sock game around the time he decided to devote his life to drinking, smoking pot and playing video games, but apparently, Blac has inspired him to get back in the game in a big way.

Not only is Blac advertising for Rob’s socks the best way she knows how (with her ass), she’s also inspired him to expand hs Arthur George collection into a fashion line.

According to TMZ, Rob has filed legal documents to expand production and start designing belts, coats, dresses, headwear, jackets, tuxedos and underwear.

Yes, like Blac Chyna, you’ll soon be able to have Rob Kardashian all over your entire body.

Rob filed the papers just a few days after the world learned he was hooking up with Blac, so it seems she’s at least partially responsible for his return to the fashion world.

Obviously, it remains to be seen if the venture will be successful, but Rob’s family is reportedly thrilled that he’s getting back into the game.

This relationship isn’t such a bad thing after all.

Kendall Jenner to Kylie Jenner: It"s Time to Dump Tyga

If you watched Keeping Up With the Kardashians Season 11 Episode 12 last night, you know that despite birthdays and legitimate crises aplenty, Kylie Jenner and her relationship drama took center stage.

Kylie and Tyga have broken up multiple times, and they always get back together within a matter of days, but apparently Kylie herself has not yet recognized this pattern.

Kylizzle was so upset on last night’s episode that she couldn’t even participate in a photshoot for her mom’s birthday.

Of course, her other sisters soldiered on even though one of them was pregnant, one had a baby daddy in rehab, and one had a husband who just emerged from a coma.

We’ll give Kylie a break, because after all, she’s only 18 – but one of her siblings seemed considerably less willing to forgive.

After refusing to rescind Tyga’s invitation to her birthday party due to Kylie’s relationship drama, Kendall struggled to hide her annoyance at the latest Kyga melodrama.

“She’s really vague when it comes to Tyga,” Kendall said about her sister, seemingly implying that Kylie knows it’s time to call it quits on the relationship, but refuses to say so out loud.

Eventually, Kylie and Tyga reconciled, and Kendall certainly seemed happy for her sister, she also seemed to feel that the whole thing is getting a little old.

“I totally knew they’d be fine when they saw each other, I knew they’d get back together. That always happens. It just is what it is,” Kendall says.

Sounds like someone misses her old, fun, single sister.
