Miranda Simms to Leah Messer: Do Not Speak to Corey Without ME THERE!

Teen Mom 2 star Leah Messer is not allowed to speak to ex-husband Corey Simms without his current wife present – or so she claims.

Miranda Patterson Simms isn’t letting Leah anywhere near her man after Corey banged Leah in his truck (or at least hooked up with her).

The details are disputed, but there was an affair. In a reversal of how it usually goes, Corey cheated on his second wife with his first one.

“Corey and I did hook up two months after they got married,” Leah confessed to Us after being tag-teamed on the Teen Mom 2 reunion.

Far from pleased as you might expect, Miranda went further than throwing shade at Leah on MTV. She enforced a new set of rules.

“I’m not allowed to call Corey’s phone to communicate with the girls unless she’s somehow three-wayed in,” the mother of three explained.

“He has to be around her when he calls.”

Of course, not everyone calls these days … so when it comes to texting, Corey and Leah must also communicate via group MMS with Miranda.

According to Leah, the second Mrs. Simms is just jealous, insecure and bitter because of the former spouses’ past. In her own words:

“Miranda doesn’t want me in the picture. She wants to hurt me because she thinks that Corey and I still have something for each other.”

Not that Leah gives AF about it though.

“I couldn’t care less about their relationship,” she said. “I want them to be happy. But if [we] can’t get along, this is going to be a nonstop fight.”

Leah also says the former couple’s twins are “miserable” at their father’s house because they are “so close” to her. That may be a stretch.

Fortunately, time does heal all wounds.

Leah recently regained custody of the twins – 50/50 with Corey – after the couple came to an equitable agreement and buried the hatchet.

Apparently, Leah and Corey are on good terms these days, with Simms praising her, saying Messer is great when she’s not on drugs

Small victories, people. Small victories.

Kim Kardashian: Stop Bringing Up My Sex Tape!

That’s going to a challenge, seeing as it launched her career.

Kim Kardashian is all sorts of pumped up about her turn as a bad-ass Twitter feuder (not a word), to the point where she defended her actions (and that nude selfie) in an open letter posted on Us Weekly.

“Hey, guys. I wanted to write a post elaborating on my tweets last night,” Kardashian wrote.  “In all seriousness, I never understand why people get so bothered by what other people choose to do with their lives.

“I don’t do drugs, I hardly drink, I’ve never committed a crime—and yet I’m a bad role model for being proud of my body? It always seems to come back around to my sex tape.

“Yes, a sex tape that was made 13 years ago. 13 YEARS AGO. Literally that lonnng ago.

And people still want to talk about it?!?!”

To be fair, that sex tape kind of launched your career and you make a living off of your (very awesome-looking) body, so…

“I lived through the embarrassment and fear, and decided to say who cares, do better, move on. I shouldn’t have to constantly be on the defense, listing off my accomplishments just to prove that I am more than something that happened 13 years ago.

Let’s move on, already. I have.”

See, the thing is…when Kardashian posts naked photos, we’re reminded of said sex tape.

Anyhoo, moving on.

“I am empowered by my body. I am empowered by my sexuality,” she continued.

“I am empowered by feeling comfortable in my skin. I am empowered by showing the world my flaws and not being afraid of what anyone is going to say about me. And I hope that through this platform I have been given, I can encourage the same empowerment for girls and women all over the world.

I am empowered by my husband, who is so accepting and supportive and who has given me a newfound confidence in myself. He allows me to be me and loves me unconditionally.

I feel so lucky to have grown up surrounded by strong, driven, independent women. The life lessons I’ve learned from my sisters, my mother and my grandmother, I will pass along to my daughter. I want her to be proud of who she is. I want her to be comfortable in her body. I don’t want her to grow up in a world where she is made to feel less-than for embracing everything it means to be a woman.

It’s 2016. The body-shaming and slut-shaming—it’s like, enough is enough.

I will not live my life dictated by the issues you have with my sexuality. You be you and let me be me. I am a mother. I am a wife, a sister, a daughter, an entrepreneur and I am allowed to be sexy.

George Martin Dies; Beatles Producer Was 90

Sir George Martin – the legendary music producer whose work with rock’s most iconic band earned him the title “the Fifth Beatle” – has passed away at the age of 90.

George Martin

According to a statement from his manager, Adam Sharp, Martin “passed away peacefully at home” last night.

“In a career that spanned seven decades he was recognized globally as one of music’s most creative talents and a gentleman to the end. The family ask that their privacy be respected at this time,” Sharp says.

Though he worked with such beloved acts as America, Cheap Trick, Jeff Beck, and Celine Dion during his nearly 6-decade career, it’s the contributions he made in the studio during his seven years with the Beatles for which Martin is best remembered.

Far more than just a casual advisor, Martin was directly involved in the songwriting and recording process for some of the group’s most famous songs.

It was Martin’s idea to put a string arrangement on Paul McCartney’s “Yesterday,” even though McCartney himself staunchly opposed the idea.

He scored and conducted the string arrangement for “Eleanor Rigby,” revealing during a recent speaking tour that it was inspired by the iconic soundtrack for the Alfred Hitchcock film Psycho.

Martin even played the quirky piano solo on the band’s beloved tear-jerker “In My Life.”

Personal anecdotes and testaments to his musical brilliance have been pouring in on social media, most notably from those Martin worked with in the recording booth.

“God bless George Martin peace and love to Judy and his family love Ringo and Barbara,” Ringo Starr tweeted moments ago. “George will be missed.”
