Duggar Family Speaks Out on Josh: We Forgive Him, But We Don"t Trust Him

On March 15, the Duggars will return to TV with the first full season of Jill & Jessa: Counting On.

Not surprisingly, the Duggar siblings have returned to the spotlight in a big way in order to promote the show, and their latest interview with People magazine may be their most revealing to date.

Asked about their feelings regarding the Josh Duggar sex scandals and their troubled brother’s road to redemption, Michelle and Jim Bob’s kids are remarkably forthcoming in their assessment of the conrtoversy that shattered their family’s reputation:

“I definitely have forgiven Josh. It is a process, though, that you have to work through in your heart,” says Jessa Duggar.

“And trust is not quickly rebuilt. It is something that takes a while. We love him very much, though, and we are very hopeful for the future.” 

Younger sister Joy-Anna echoes the sentiment, adding, “I have forgiven him and I feel that, but the trust is not there.”

Even Jessa’s husband, Ben Seewald, shares his thoughts on his disgraced brother-in-law, saying, “I love Josh and I want the best for him. There are a lot of people who have been hurt in this situation.

“I want to look for ways to help heal the situation for Josh and for Anna and their kids especially.”

While they defended him after it was revealed that Josh had molested five young girls, four of whom were his sisters, the Duggars took a darker view of the 28-year-old father of four after it was revealed that he’d been unfaithful to his wife, Anna Duggar.

Jessa took shots at Josh in an interview, and even her parents, who had previously been accused of helping Josh conceal his misdeeds, spoke out and publicly condemned his actions.

We’re guessing the family will have even more to say about their year of scandal on their new reality show.

Oh s–t, this is about to get REAL.

When Ben says he put his fiancee through hell, we now understand a little bit more about what he means … as she has to watch this.

In order to fully invest himself in one of these two AMAZING women, Ben brilliantly observes, he will have to say goodbye to the other.

How will he handle that? Not well, it looks like. He is a lost man right now, he assures us, unaware of what comes next or how to react.

The fallout could be epic. Not just for the drama of who Ben Higgins will choose, or how the woman whose heart he breaks will respond.

It can"t be easy to hear that he was falling just as hard for someone else, and some fans have theorized that his engagement is in peril.

That"s just conjecture, however.

The show"s track record is so poor, we would not assume any happily-ever-after scenarios, but we wouldn"t rule them out. Not yet anyway.

What we can tell you is that this is a man fighting back tears when he talks about the woman he DOES plan to propose to, and … wow.

Friends of the eldest Kardashian sister, quoted by Hollywood Life, say the mother of three is expecting another baby with the pop singer.

Confirmed? Hardly. But Kourtney, 36, and Justin, 22, have been linked together numerous times since she split with Scott Disick last year.

Reports of Bieber dating Kourtney Kardashian (or at least sexing her up) gained traction this winter when he posted the car sex pic above.

Since then, the chatter has shown no signs of slowing down.

What was once a “whirlwind club romance” has escalated as they’ve spent more and more time together. Apparently, clothing is optional.

Again, we stress that sources claiming Kourt is pregnant doesn’t mean she has confirmed it. Neither she nor Bieber have gone on record.

Nor does it mean that if she were pregnant, that it’s Justin’s.

Or maybe it does. “It would have to be a Bieber baby,” one insider says, because quite simply, “the math is pretty clear” on the subject.

Chris Reda has also been linked romantically to the older sister of Kim, Khloe, Rob, Kylie and Kendall, but it sounds like he’s a non-factor.

At least when it comes to the intimate window in question.

“Kourtney’s already admitted to her friends that she and Justin have been intimate, and she hasn’t been with Scott in a longtime, so …”

Another insider adds that Justin is pretty damn psyched to be father and “is telling friends that the Kardashians are already like family.”

The two have even been going to church together, says the source. At least when they’re not in bed, where Bieber is a beast. Groan.

“Kourtney has raved, ‘The sex is really good and he makes me feel young again.’ She like a giggling schoolgirl in love,” says the sleuth.

It may be a fling, but so be it, since “Kourtney is tired of being the boring, responsible Kardashian. Justin is helping her come out of her shell.”

“That is why they are spending more time together.”

“She likes all the action around him. Kourtney wants to be young and free again like her younger sisters and Justin does that for her.”

We don’t even know what to say at this point.

All we can say for an established fact is that Kourtney has really been showing Scott Disick what he’s missing since they parted ways.
