As Beyonce and Jay Z are drinking in the sweet success of Bey’s new album “Lemonade,” a long-lost cousin has come along to give them something to choke on.
Shanica Knowles, Beyonce’s cousin, is dishing out some serious dirt about the couple’s marriage to heat magazine.
Shanica, best known for her recurring role on Hannah Montana, says Bey and Jay have split up multiple times over the years because of the rapper’s cheating, which of course was the main focus of “Lemonade.”
“This has been a long process and I’ve heard they’ve had to deal with silent separations and splits over the past few years,” she revealed. “…but Beyonce is praying that this album will actually save their marriage.”
The actress goes on to say that Beyonce used the new album as some kind of catharsis to help her cope with her husband’s betrayal.
“Beyonce’s been encouraged to write about the affair rumours to help her deal with it all and help her determine whether she could work through everything or had to end the marriage,” she said.
“She’s been through the intense anger and I think she’s now learning to forgive Jay.”
Now that everything is out in the open, Shanica says her cousin is ready to put in the work to the marriage.
“The next few months are going to be the test – this is now make or break for them – but Bey’s determined to do everything she can to make it work.”
Well, in the next few months, Beyonce is going to be on tour, so if saving the marriage means not seeing the bastard, they should be golden.
Nevertheless, the leader of the Beyhive may still wind up kicking her man to the curb if she can’t get past his wandering loins.
“She’s admitted that she still may end up divorcing him,” added Shanica.
“It’s up to Jay to continue fighting for her and prove that he’s determined to do whatever it takes to keep his wife.”
Lucky for Shanica, Thanksgiving’s still several months away.
Because I can so vividly envision the death stares darting at her across the table and over the yams right now.
