Jenelle Evans: Is She Afraid to Leave David Eason?!
Over the course of the past year, multiple Jenelle Evans-David Eason divorce rumors have made their way across the social media landscape.
Obviously, most famous couples are subjected to erroneous breakup reports, but with Jenelle and David, there’s been real reason to believe they’ve come close to calling it quits.
At one point, David even changed his relationship status on Facebook, which is the modern-day equivalent tossing your wedding ring in the ocean.
So it’s safe to assume David and Jenelle have broken up on at least one occasion.
But they always seem to make amends.
The situation is endlessly perplexing to fans, as neither Evans nor Eason is the apologizing type.
In fact, he might be the only person on the planet who is as consistently enraged as she is.
Which might be why some fans think Jenelle is stuck in an abusive relationship that she’s afraid to leave.
One such concerned viewer is Tammy Pescatelli, a highly-regarded standup comic who appeared on the reality shows Last Comic Standing and A Standup Mom.
As The Ashley’s Reality Roundup reports, Pescatelli reached out to Jenelle this week, offering words of support for the troubled reality star:
“Dear @PBandJenelley_1, I don’t know you. I do know #Violence,” Tammy tweeted.
“When I was your age I had an extremely violent & controlling BF, who crushed me physically & emotionally. I was blessed to escape w/my life. I was dead inside. I see that same look in your eyes. RUN! Leave!
“If not for you, for your kids,” she continued.
“Not only do they not need to fear the monster that lives in their house, but 1 rage could be the accident that ends it all. No judgement. Only <3. Reach out. PPL will help. #YouAreNotAlone”
Not surprisingly, Jenelle did not take Tammy’s words to heart and instead lashed out with much of the same rhetoric she’s been firing at concerned fans for years now:
“Dear Whoever You Are, I’ve been through many many controlling, emotionally and psychically abusive relationships,” Jenelle tweeted to Tammy.
“My husband does not ‘crush me’, hurt me, or abuse me in any way. I did run away from many diff men and choose to start over and fresh every single time.
“If you only knew what type of ‘monster’ David was…. you’d be surprised,” Jenelle continued.
“When your son refuses to make a Fathers Day gift for his real dad and says his stepdad means more to him… THAT speak volumes. You only know what you see for 5 mins on a show each week, months ago lol”
Of course, Pescatelli has much more experience in the world of reality television than most TM2 viewers, a fact that she was quick to point out to Evans:
“I do understand,” Tammy responded.
“I’ve been hurt by bad editing on reality shows & I have been an EP on my own. @MTV & #TeenMom2 can edit situations. The cannot create his explosive bursts of rage. It’s not worth arguing bc ultimately, anyone who has been there knows what the outcome will be.”
“I know about reality shows,” Tammy wrote to Jenelle.
“I also know his explosive anger is dangerous…I understand about reality TV & moments out of context. And I understand you are w/him now & he is your husband.”
She concluded:
“Again, not attacking u- just know, when you are ready, there will be help. For him too.”
Here’s hoping Jenelle takes this opportunity to think long and hard about David’s anger, her own rage, and the impact that both might be having on her children.

Maci Bookout Struggles on Naked and Afraid, Receives Major Support From Fans
Teen Mom OG fans spent several months anticipating Maci Bookout"s appearance on Naked and Afraid.
And we think it"s safe to say they didn"t quite get what they were hoping for.
Maci"s wilderness adventure was a short one, as the mother of three struggled mightily during her time in Nicaragua.
Some viewers stated that they had hoped to see more of Ms. Bookout, but most applauded her courage in taking on such a challenge.
And as a bonus, her happy-go-lucky partner definitely earned some new fans!
1. Maci Bookout: Both Naked and Afraid
Maci spent the past week hyping her appearance on the show, and she was clearly excited to share the experience with fans.
2. TV’s Toughest Show
No show on television tests the limits of human endurance quite like Naked and Afraid, and very few contestants last the full 21 days. So Maci certainly isn’t alone in not completing the challenge.
3. Badass Attitude
In her intro video, Maci referred to herself as a badass, a word that’s often used by TMOG fans when describing the tough-as-nails mother of three.
4. Firestarter
She described her preparations for the show, revealing that she spent a lot of time working on starting fires without the aid of matches or a lighter. At first, it seemed that all that hard work paid off.
5. Early Success
Maci and her partner — an ICU nurse named Justin — managed to build a fire on their first day in the wilderness — a rare accomplishment on Naked and Afraid.
6. No Match For Nicaragua
Unfortunately, that would prove to be Maci’s final triumph in the jungles of Nicaragua.

Maci Bookout Naked and Afraid Preview: Watch The Teen Mom OG Star Battle the Elements!
Several months ago, Teen Mom OG viewers started getting excited about reports that Maci Bookout shot an episode Naked and Afraid.
But until Sunday night, we knew very little about Maci"s experience on the show.
Now, information is beginning to trickle in, and fans are more hyped than ever.
We still don"t where in the world Maci will be battling the elements, but we do know who she"s partnered up with and — most importantly — when her episode will air.

Maci Bookout Is Nude, Terrified in Naked and Afraid Preview!
Back in March, Maci Bookout revealed to fans that she’ll appear on an upcoming episode of reality TV’s most brutal series, Naked and Afraid.
If you’re unfamiliar with the show, the title pretty much says it all.
Two strangers are dropped in the center of a foreign wilderness without a stitch of clothing, and they spend the next three weeks (or however long they last) petrified of the many forces in their immediate environment that could very easily kill them.
Usually, it’s starvation or exposure that sends the contestants home early, but it could just as easily be a bite from a venomous snake or a run in with some irate fire ants.
It’s one of those shows that makes sane viewers would put themselves through such torment, especially since there’s no cash prize for those who endure the full 21 days.
But there are some folks, like Maci, who watch nude survivalists putting their lives on the line for bragging rights and think, that looks like fun!
Bookout took to Instagram this week to share a first look at her upcoming episode:

The pic was also shared on the official Naked and Afraid Instagram page, along with a caption reading:
“THIS SUNDAY get a super secret peek at our teen mom survivalist during Naked and Afraid XL: All Stars this Sunday night at 10pm.”
Yes, apparently surviving a relationship with Ryan Edwards wasn’t enough of a challenge for Maci.
You have to tip your hat to a woman who has endured the company of Farrah Abraham on more than one occasion and still wants to test herself even more.
No word yet on where Maci was shipped off to or how long she lasted on the show, but we can bet she was pushed to the limit.
Fortunately, Maci was in good hands.
Her companion on the show is Justin Tuell, a 31-year-old ICU with a background in wilderness survival.
Details about the episode’s air date will be revealed on Sunday.
In the meantime, watch Teen Mom OG online to remind yourself of hos much Maci has already endured.

Mackenzie Standifer: I"m Afraid Ryan Edwards Will Relapse!
If you’re a fan of Teen Mom 2, then you’re no doubt aware of Ryan Edwards recent struggles with addiction.
Edwards hit rock bottom before an audience of millions when he passed out while driving to his own wedding, a shocking scene that was captured by MTV cameras.
Shortly after exchanging vows with Mackenzie Standifer, Edwards checked into rehab, and he’s reportedly been sober ever since.
But that doesn’t mean the early months of his marriage have been entirely smooth sailing.
On this week’s episode of TM2, Standifer opened up to a friend, revealing that in some ways, her life was easier when her husband was in rehab, as she knew that he couldn’t get acquire drugs.
When Edwards returned home, Standifer says, the fear that he might disappear on a bender became overpowering.
“When Ryan was in rehab it was easy,” she told her friend.
“I knew he couldn’t get anything. He was safe. When we came home life punched us in the face. If he wanted it he could go get it. It’s scary.”
Mackenzie went on to reveal that Edwards’ short temper has also been a constant source of stress in her marriage:
“You can be angry, but you can’t talk to me like that,” she said.
“This is hard for me too. I knew it would be hard, but I didn’t know it would be like this. It’s stress all the time. I’m so exhausted. I’m sad and depressed and angry.”
Clearly in despair from the stress of a “honeymoon period” marred by the ravages of addiction, Mackenzie complained that marriage to Edwards has exacted a profound emotional toll.
“I didn’t know it would be like this. It’s stress all the time. I’m so exhausted. I’m sad and depressed and angry.”
Needless to say, the Ryan and Mackenzie are enduring an incredibly trying time.
However, many viewers stated on social media that their fears were somewhat allayed by a touching scene in which Edwards expressed his gratitude to Standifer for essentially saving his life:
“It’s disgusting I let myself go like that,” he told his wife.
“It’s just pathetic. I’m so glad I listened to you and got help. You’ve been very, very understanding. I couldn’t have done this without you. Is there anything I could do to help you through this?”
Clearly, Ryan and Mackenzie have a long way in getting their marriage to a place where they’re both at their happiest and healthiest.
But the good news is, it seems that they’re both willing to put in the necessary work.

David Eason to Fans: Kaiser Is NOT Afraid of Me!
If you watched Monday night’s episode of Teen Mom 2, then we probably don’t have to explain to you why David Eason is not the most popular reality star in thw world this week.
The episode portrayed Eason and his famously volatile wife in such an unfleattering light that Jenelle Evans threatened to quit the show and deleted her Twitter profile in protest.
The newly-married Easons were depicted as bickering contantly and neglecting their many children.
At one point, Jenelle’s youngest son, Kaiser, nearly knocked over an MTV camera, and many viewers cited it as further evidence of Evans’ incompetence as a parent.
But while Jenelle has ben ranting and raving and threatening her bosses on social media, David remained quiet in the days after the episode aired.
Many fans assume Eason is lying low because he was once again exposed as an unfit father who has virtually no patience for Jenelle’s kids from previous relationships.
Today, David seemed to indirectly respond to the widespread criticism by posting the below photo on Instagram:
As you can see, the pic shows Eason seemingly enjoying the company of his wife and daughter, as well as Jenelle’s son Kaiser, who’s seated in his lap.
Many fans commented that they were confused by the photo, as David harshly disciplined Kaiser last week, and seems to not get along with Jenelle’s sons in general.
We’ve seen David openly mock Jace and speak disparagingly of both boys and their fathers.
Many fans have pointed out that if David engages in that sort of behavior on camera, there’s a good chance he’s even worse when he knows he’s not being filmed.
Currently, Jenelle is engaged in multiple custody battles and David’s behavior seems to be making her case worse by the week.
But as always, there are some diehard loyalists willing to defend the Carolina Hurricane and her troubled husband:
“No matter what ppl say, honestly you been in those kids life, married their mom then that means treating the kids just like your own that includes-loving & disciplining,” commented one fan on the pic.
“But either way if he just stood back while the kids misbehaved ppl would say “omg you can’t even step up and be a man/father figure.”
“I must be watching a different show- kaiser is terrified of David? I remember him crying bc he WANTED David – in the backseat when jenelle had to call David on the phone while picking up Marisa,” wrote another.
Perhaps Jenelle and her most faithful fans are right and David is merely being misrepresented.
It’s possible–but we have our doubts

Barbara Evans: David Eason Makes Me Afraid for Jenelle Evans!
No one has ever accused Jenelle Evans of being the best mom. Or even necessarily of being a good mom.
And her estranged mother, Barbara Evans, has been one of her toughest critics over the years.
But that doesn’t mean that Barbara isn’t worried about her daughter. Along with many Teen Mom 2 fans, she finds David Eason alarming and believes that he’s no good for her grandchildren — or Jenelle.
Before we get into this, remember that Jenelle Evans is threatening to quit Teen Mom 2. We do not think that one is unrelated to the other.
Jenelle believes that the show is portraying her in an unfair light.
Multiple Teen Mom 2 stars have complained about the edits that they receive, not just Jenelle.
After all, by the nature of reality television, it’s very easy to take moments out of context.
Even the best of the Teen Mom 2 mothers, Chelsea Houska, gets bad edits sometimes. Through editing, they made it look like she was ignoring her daughter.
But editing can only go so far. The producers can edit out good moments or resolutions, but they can’t edit in fits of yelling or heated arguments or worse.
A lot of fans are concerned about Jenelle’s parenting.
A lot of fans are even more concerned about David Eason’s parenting, and particularly the way that he reportedly treats Kaiser, Jenelle’s child with her ex, Nathan Griffith.
Jenelle’s own estranged mother, who has custody of Jenelle’s oldest child, Jace, is worried about her other grandchildren.
And Barbara is also worried about Jenelle herself.
In an interview with RadarOnline, Barbara Evans spoke about her fears of Jenelle living under David Eason’s control. She repeated some of her long-held beliefs about the results of the couple’s marriage.
“I think once he puts that ring on her finger he’s going to have so much control over her.”
Well, Jenelle married David Eason in late September, but only time will tell if Barbara’s predictions are accurate.
“She’s going to be choked to where she won’t be able to breathe.”
We hope that Jenelle won’t literally be choked. Though with David Eason’s background, you never know.
“He’ll have so much control; more so than he does now.”
When fans of the show have wished that Jenelle would get herself under control, they did not mean under a husband’s control.
Barbara mourns what’s become of her daughter.
“This is a Jenelle I’ve never seen.”
Barbara suspects that Jenelle will come to regret it.
“Someday it’s going to bite her in the ass to do this to me. It’s heartwrenching to me.”
While it’s no doubt painful for Barbara, she also harbors serious fears about the well being of her grandchildren. She has custody of Jace, sure, but she cannot protect them all.
“I’m not worried about Ensley, because it’s David’s child. I’m very much so worried about Kaiser. I don’t think David likes Kaiser… because he’s a clone of Nathan.”
Though there is a documented phenomenon where stepchildren are, statistically, more likely to be abused than biological children of both parents, there are sadly plenty of abusive parents who do not discriminate when it comes to doling out violence.
If Barbara fears that David Eason is abusive, then she might want to worry about all of her grandchildren.
Apparently, Jenelle is dismissive of Barbara’s fears.
“She says it’s none of my business. They won’t let me see Kaiser.”
For the record, if a child is being mistreated, it is the business of literally every good person on the planet.
Sadly, we don’t know if there’s much that we can do.
We can hope that Kaiser’s other grandmother, Nathan Griffith’s mother, is successful in obtaining custody of the boy.
Beyond that, we can mostly just hope (and pray, if you’re the praying sort) that reports that Jenelle Evans is pregnant with her fourth child are false.
Even if the allegations of abuse are false, the dynamic that we’ve seen between Jenelle and David on Teen Mom 2 is toxic. No child deserves to be born into that.
Don’t you wish that Barbara could just adopt all of them? We’re sure that she does.

American Horror Story Season 7 Episode 2 Recap: Don"t Be Afraid of the Dark
Ally is not mad after all.
When American Horror Story Season 7 Episode 2 got underway, we got to see the aftermath of Ally waking up in bed with the clown.
We totally thought that was going to be one of her night terrors, so it was a welcome change of pace. She rushed downstairs screaming the odds at poor Ivy who had no idea what was going on.
Being the doting wife, Ivy played along with what she probably thought was a charade and started waving a knife around the house, looking for the clown.
Ivy admitted that she thought Ally was just paranoid… until Ozzy got a fright of his own when the same clown and Twisty ambushed him.
Was it a night terror? Was it real life? He had no idea, but his claims were not entirely taken seriously, which could also explain why he’s putting a lot of trust in Winter.
Remember that scene from American Horror Story Season 7 Episode 1 in which Kai shared a pinky promise with Winter and told her to tell him the truth?
Well, Winter did the same thing to Ozzy this week, and it now looks like she’s recruited her first minion. Ozzy was scared about everything that had happened, but Winter managed to take the fear away from him.
Her first order of business was to introduce him to the new neighbors who swiftly moved into the house the Changs were murdered in.
They are played convincingly by Billy Eichner and Leslie Grossman, and it was evident from the get-go both actors were having a thrilling time playing the roles.
Ally was skeptical of them because of how quickly they moved in, but they put her fears to bed when they told her they had “credit issues” and the owner of the house signed the lease over to them.
Ally noted that she did not know the Changs were renters, so something tells us Harrison and Meadow Wilton are not supposed to be taking up residence in it.
It was difficult to keep up with the pair’s knowledge of the latest pop culture, but I was sold when they noted their love for Beyonce and ETSY. They are most definitely keepers.
But they seem like the kind who will chop you up in your sleep, so it was probably a good idea that Ally reinforced the house.
Yes, she got bars put across the doors and windows. She may seem irrational, but her latest act came on the heels of her finding one of the restaurant’s employees on a meat hook after being called to the place in the dead of night by a shoddy security system.
It just so happened that the deceased employee was racist, and was seen earlier in the episode threatening a worker named Pedro.
The sketchy detective pointed the finger at Pedro, much to the dismay of Ally and Ivy. Ally had already told him about the big argument in the kitchen, so it was kind of her fault.
Fearing for the safety of her family, Ally turned to Harrison and Meadow for some support, and they gifted her with a firearm. Yes, we are not kidding.
Ally being in possession of a gun is scarier than any other season of this show. She’s far too irrational. We would trust the boy more with the gun than her.
The next big drama for Ally was Kai standing on her doorstep and trying to fear monger her into joining his cause. Thankfully, she remembered him as the person who yelled “Enjoy your latte, bitch!” at her on American Horror Story Season 7 Episode 1.
“It’s so easy until it’s you they’re coming for,” he said menacingly, after she declined the invitation to have her fear taken away from her.
In the end, Winter decided it was time to give her new employer a hot bath and maybe some under water loving. But then the power went out, and the clowns appeared.
Harrison appeared through the bars as though he had been waiting on cue for the power to go out, clutching two candles and saying that it could be a terrorist attack from Russia, ISIS or even North Korea.
He also revealed that eight states were facing the same issue. With Ally looking at Winter for support, Winter departed the home to salvage all of her belongings.
Ally’s phone ran out, so Ivy sent Pedro over with a charger and some condiments, but Ally got a fright and shot him with her handgun.
If American Horror Story wanted to prove it was going for the shock factor this season, this was the best installment to do it, but Ally shooting Pedro made it all seem a little forced.
It was still the best episode of the series since American Horror Story Season 2, so there’s that.

Corinne Olympios: I Was Afraid There"d Be Even MORE Backlash!
Corinne Olympios is so much more than her Bachelor in Paradise scandal or the best possible choice to be the next Bachelorette.
Now that the summer’s controversy has been resolved as well as it can be, she’s all about looking forward and giving interviews on the subject.
She talks her recovery from the scandal, what her new project is, and … whether or not she’d give it another go with Nick Viall.
On a weekend in early June, news broke that Bachelor in Paradise production was shut down after concerns following some sort of sex romp between Corinne Olympios and DeMario Jackson.
A couple of producers had been concerned about the (relatively) softcore hookup, worrying that they had witnessed a sexual assault given the involvement of alcohol.
Though alcohol can absolutely impair someone’s ability to consent, it eventually turned out that there was no sexual assault.
That internal investigation might have been avoided if Corinne had been able to remember her hookup with DeMario.
The reason that she blacked out was an unforeseen interaction between her prescription medication and the alcohol that she was consuming.
Some meds can have that effect if mixed with only a small amount of alcohol.
Unfortunately, some people jumped to conclusions, accusing DeMario Jackson of being a rapist — which no one involved, Corinne included, had suggested — or trying to slut-shame Corinne.
Some people did both, because people can be awful.
DeMario Jackson did what he could to shut down that talk, but rumors and accusations like those don’t go away easily.
It takes time.
But it sounds like Corinne is, slowly but surely, moving on.
Yesterday, in an interview with The Daily Beast, Corinne Olympios talked about what it’s been like in the aftermath of the summer’s scandal.
“I’m just really glad that it’s all kind of unfolding, that people are seeing the bigger picture, as opposed to just like ‘media scandal in Paradise.’ I’m really happy that everyone’s moving past it now.”
We’re glad, too. For her sake and for DeMario’s.
“It’s honestly like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders. I was so nervous, I was afraid that there would be even more backlash, but I’m really glad that it’s done.”
Honestly, Bachelor in Paradise handled the resolution reasonably well.
Closure is a good way to close the book on a scandal.
“I never thought it would be like this. It’s never easy, especially for my friends and family, seeing this stuff in the media — they’ll see something in an article and be like, ‘Is this true? What’s true, what’s not true?’”
Corinne herself didn’t remember, so she had to find out some things with the rest of us.
“It was just really hard because I was trying to keep myself OK and also keep my close friends and family OK at the same time.”
It’s always harder when the people who love you are going through it with you.
And then, of course, the recently single again Corinne is asked if she would date Nick Viall again, if given the chance.
“No probably not, honestly. We’re friends! I love the guy, but just as friends.”
That’s probably wise.
By the way, these days, Corinne is working on something scripted.
That’s super exciting — not every reality star is cut out to make the leap from unscripted drama to bringing someone else’s artistic vision to life.
But we believe that Corinne has what it takes.
And now Corinne is sharing a little more about what that’s going to be about.
For starters, this show is about dating as a Millennial.
(Corinne is 24, and definitely a Millennial, so we don’t think that this is going to be awful like that so-bad-but-still-not-funny The Great Indoors show)
“I think people just get so worked up about creating, like, dating pages, or … I feel like it just becomes such a topic of conversation, like, ‘Oh my God, who are you dating? What kind of guy are you going to date? Does this person even look like their picture?”
That’s true.
Even if someone’s just perusing through Tinder or Grindr beside you, most of us snoop and offer some advice, solicited or otherwise, and who is or isn’t a good match.
There’s a lot of comedic potential, there.
“I just feel like there are so many questions and new ways of dating, so it’s comical in itself.”
Yep.
In general, Corinne’s life is pretty okay these days.
“I’m really just taking my time to be with friends and family, to heal, and just really working on myself.”
“I’m just gonna keep doing all this great stuff, I’m not going to stop, I’m going to keep doing what I love, and I trust myself to lead me to the right path.”
We’re sorry that she didn’t get her chance to be on Bachelor in Paradise for the full season, but we’re pretty eager to see this scripted show.
And to see wherever else her career takes her next.
