Phil Robertson Slams Miley Cyrus, The Weather Channel

Phil Robertson is at it again.

Over the years, the Duck Dynasty star has made his feelings very well known when it comes to atheists and also when it comes to homosexuals.

He got himself suspended by A&E back in 2013 for remarks he made regarding the latter group of individuals.

And now Robertson is back in the news for saying some very mean stuff about a wide variety of people and… television networks?!?

Later this week, Robertson’s religion-themed documentary, Torchbearer, will debut at the Cannes Film Festival later.

In anticipation of the release, a trailer has hit the Internet that implies Miley Cyrus is actually one of the film’s subjects, as she appears on-screen while Robertson talks about “moral decay.”

What, exactly, is this a reference to? Why is Cyrus being cited as an example?

“Our [Founding Fathers] said once your religion goes, then your morality goes, then your freedom goes, and you see with Bernie Sanders they’re wanting to get rid of the Republic and replace it with socialism,” Robertson told The Hollywood Reporter in response to a question about Miley.

And he was only getting started.

“America is floundering in sin, and I know that’s a unique word in your part of the country,” he added, speaking of Tinseltown.

Robertson went on to say that Miley promotes “decadence,” as do many others in Hollywood.

He doesn’t have time for anyone who can’t see the problem with this lifestyle.

“If you got an argument in favor of decadence, then give it to me,” he says.

With what else does Robertson take issue?

“Matt Dillon, U.S. Marshall – ‘Gunsmoke,’ and John Wayne and the Western Channel.

“Also the Weather Channel to see what the Doppler radar is telling me.”

What? What? Why?!?

You have to remember, I’ve never turned on a computer and I don’t own a cell phone,” Robertson notes. “So, dude, you’re reaching way down in the woods.”

In conclusion, Robertson says he’s just trying to be there for his fellow man.

He has no regrets about his past comments or his past behavior.

“I used to get high, drunk and laid with the worst of ’em. I did it for 28 years. It’s not like I’ve never been on the other side,” he says.

“I lived a very sinful life ’til I ran up on Jesus. Now I’m just trying to help my neighbor out. Why don’t we love God, love each other and do what’s right?”

Tom Cruise: How Does He Justify Abandoning Suri?

Last month, it was widely reported that Tom Cruise hasn’t seen his daughter, Suri, in nearly 1,000 days.

The news was baffling, as Cruise clearly has the means to visit his Suri whenever he pleases, and he’s reportedly been an attentive father to his other two kids, whom he adopted during his first marriage.

(Though it’s worth noting that Cruise was not invited to the wedding of his eldest daughter, Isabella Cruise, when she got married last year.)

So why is it that Cruise would so callously distance himself from his youngest child, who just turned 10 in April?

Well, according to Gary Morehead, the former head of Cruise’s personal security team at the main Scientology headquarters near Hemet, California, it’s the actor’s devotion to his faith that’s to blame for his negligent parenting.

Morehead, who has spoken out against the Church in the past, says Cruise is completely under the control of Scientologist leader David Miscavige, who advised the actor to cut ties with his daughter and her mother, Katie Holmes:

“Miscavige would have hammered home to Tom that Suri has been infiltrated by a bad Thetan,” says Gary Morehead.

“Therefore, it’s easy for Tom to disconnect from her.”

Morehead adds that Cruise has been taking instructions from Miscavige for so long that it likely never occurs to him to question his advice:

“Once you reach the mind-set where Tom is at, he doesn’t need much convincing. They believe the church is ultimately right, and abide by its demands.”

Another former Scientologist, Jon Atack, believes that Cruise would’ve been ordered to sever ties with Suri and Holmes once they left the religion, in order to prevent him from questioning his own beliefs.

“It’s likely Tom reported feeling upset, and that’s when I think he may have been told to drop any connection to his daughter,” says Atack.

Sources say Katie and Suri would’ve both been branded Suppressive Persons (“SPs” in Scientologist jargon) as well as Potential Trouble Sources (“PTSs”).

Cruise reportedly hopes that he’ll one day be able to redeem Suri in the eyes of the Church, and therefore welcome her back into his life:

“A PTS can be reformed by discipline and training, and become a good Scientologist,” says Atack.

This would reportedly involve sending Suri to a special school for Scientologist children, an idea that Holmes has reportedly resisted.

Ho, No! Juvenile Punches Out Waffle House Patron

Oh, ho no!

Juvenile went after a Waffle House customer on Friday night in South Carolina after the man spotted the rapper entering the famous dining establishment chain and announced out loud:

"Juvenile here, here come all the hoes now."

Instead of being honored (and shocked) that someone actually recognized him, Juvenile responded to the taunt in anger.

According to an onlooker, per TMZ, Juvenile was actually with his girlfriend at the time this dude made the insulting comment.

Joined by his entourage, the artist therefore attacked the patron, feeling as if his girlfriend had been indirectly and unfairly labeled a "ho."

As you can see in the following surveillance video, Juvenile and his friends held little back in attacking the patron.

Eventually, Juvenile – who was in town for the Legends of Southern Hip Hop tour – left the premises, as did his foe.

The authorities didn"t arrive until an hour later and didn"t even take a report because there was no one remaining from the fight to go on record.
