Courtney Stodden Promises to Have Gay Baby

If there’s a silver lining to be found in the unspeakable tragedy of the Orlando nightclub shooting, it’s the outpouring of support for the  LGBT community that’s flooded in from all corners of the globe via social media tributes, monetary donations, and outraged calls for change.

Celebrities have shared have offered emotional accounts of ways in which they were touched by the largest mass shooting in US history, and many have called upon fans to help the survivors and families of the victims in any way they can.

Then Courtney Stodden came along and made things weird.

As you may have heard, Stodden is pregnant with her first child. 

Speaking with Us Weekly at a recent PETA event in Los Angeles, Courtney revealed that she doesn’t know the sex of her baby, but she knows that if it’s a a boy, he’s gonna be into boys:

“If it’s a boy I am going to dress him up in tutus,” Stodden told the tabloid.

“I know I am going to spoil my baby rotten. I’m going to be a fun mom. I always say I am going to have a girl regardless, and if it’s a boy he’ll be gay!”

In fairness, Coutney made her comments before the Pulse shooting, and Us waited several days to publish the interview, so we guess they’re to blame for the awful timing.

That said, maybe it’s just generally a good idea to hold off on comments about molding your child’s sexual orientation in 2016?

Hey, aybe Courtney was kidding.

Or maybe it was just the sort of joke that doesn’t translate well to print.

Whatever the case, the fact that Courtney is already planning on shaping this kid into cosmo-sipping mini-me and becoming an Amy Poehler-in-Mean–Girls-esque “cool mom” is a little unsettling. 

Hey, at the end of the day, she’s 21, and it’s her first pregnancy.

We’re willing to forgive the occasional awkward comment.

We just wish we’d hear more comments along the lines of “I’ll love him or her regardless of whom he or she chooses to love” when parents are awkwardly asked about their kids sexual orientations.

Hey, even easier: just stop asking parents about their kids’ sexual orientations!

Lady Gaga broke down in understandable tears on Monday night.

The artist stood in solidarity alongside the grieving LGBT community at Los Angeles’ City Hall, delivering an emotional speech in tribute to the 49 victims killed over the weekend at a gay nightclub in Orlando, Florida.

Gaga, of course, is especially close to the gay, lesbian and bisexual community.

“We mourn the tragic loss of these innocent, beautiful people. Let’s all today pledge an allegiance of love to them and to their families who are suffering so deeply," the singer said.

She continued:

"They are sons and daughters. They were fathers and mothers. They are all our brothers and our sisters.

But, tonight I will not allow my anger and outrage over this attack to overshadow our need to honor those who are grieving truly for their lost ones; lost members of the LGBT community.”

It was at this point where Gaga could not hold back her tears any longer.

"I hope you know that myself and so many are your allies," she said.

"Not only me, but everyone here. We represent the compassion and the loyalty of millions of people around the world that believe in you. You are not alone, you are not alone."

A number of celebrities have sent powerful messages to the world and to the LGBT community in the days since this heinous attack.

Gaga also read aloud the names of each victim of the deadliest mass shooting in American history, which took 49 lives in the early morning hours of Sunday, June 12.

Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris: Why Did He Dump Her?!

The recent breakup of Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris continues to be a topic of speculation throughout the celebrity gossip universe.

This new intel should only fuel that fire.

The end of her romance with Harris (real name Adam Wiles) came as a shock to fans left wondering what was the real reason for the split.

Rumors have suggested that he cheated on her, or that the singer’s infamous squad came between them, and who knows what else.

In truth, it was a lot less scandalous.

“Adam really liked Taylor … she was not the type of girl he ever dates and he liked that,” a source close to the EDM hitmaker dished.

“He liked how innocent Taylor was and that she had a good caring heart,” the insider added, but despite Harris’ feelings, it was not to be.

Swift simply had invested more emotions into the relationship than Harris, who progressively became bored with the romance over time:

“Taylor’s heart was more in it than his was. He started to lose interest over the past few months, but really tried to not just break up.”

The source also intimated that Swift’s lifestyle and career makes it hard for her to maintain a healthy relationship with anyone, frankly.

“They were just not very compatible in different areas in their relationship. The touring and traveling didn’t help,” the insider said candidly.

“It seemed like they were more friends than lovers,” Harris’ confident went on. “Taylor and Adam had very different groups of friends.”

The source is adamant that Harris didn’t cheat on Swift and was not involved with anyone else at the time of the split from the pop star.

“There were no other women involved with Adam. He did not cheat on her at all. Just not a good match,” the source stated, reiterating: 

“No one cheated. There was no drama.”

A separate report from celebrity gossip staple Hollywood Life says Swift wanted to take things to the next level and Harris … did not.

He apparently wasn’t ready to commit.

Whether that had to do with the fact that Harris couldn’t handle Taylor’s success is up for interpretation, but it looks like he ended things.

At this point in time, neither Swift nor Harris have talked about this, save for one Twitter comment by him that she immediately re-tweeted.

“The only truth here is that a relationship came to an end & what remains is a huge amount of love and respect,” he wrote on the site. 

Beyond that “truth” – or what they are calling the truth in order to quell the rumors and toe the company line – we may never, ever know.

Kendra Wilkinson and Hank Baskett: Look! We"re More in Love Than Ever!

Hank Baskett may or may not have gone to bed with a transgender model named Ava London.

But one thing is for certain:

We can put that chatter about Baskett’s failing marriage to Kendra Wilkinson to bed.

The former wide receiver and ongoing reality star vacationed in Lake Powell over the weekend, hanging out there with friends to celebrate Kendra’s 31st birthday.

Jessica Hall, familiar to those who watch Kendra on Top online, was on hand… as was Kendra’s cell phone.

She shared multiple photos from the trip.

“Celebrated my birthday at Lake Powell these last couple days,” she wrote as a caption to the above image, adding:

Went crazzzzy n partied it up with a great group of friends. #31isthenew21. Can’t party like us… Punk. #31stbirthday #lakepowell.”

The former Girls Next Door star added: “”Thank you Lake Powell for being my bitch for my bday bash.”

There’s been talk for years, of course, about the state of Hank and Kendra’s marriage.

Largely due to Hank and Kendra themselves fueling these rumors in order to remain relevant.

But all appears to be very well now. Just read what Hank wrote upon returning from this fun-filled getaway:

“After an epic lake trip on a house boat and a 9 hr drive home I finally have enough service to be able to post one of my favorite pics from our trip.

“I rented a houseboat at Lake Powell for @kendra_wilkinson_baskett birthday and we were able to truly be away from it all and fall even more in love.

“The moments two people in love are able to share when they truly don’t have a care in the world are priceless.”

Baskett added:

“I would give my baby the world if she asked for it but all she wanted was to get lost with me. I love you baby and Happy Birthday!”

AWWWW!

We really have no idea what to believe about this couple at this point. We have no idea what is real and what is phony.

But we do know that we’ll take anything that distracts us from that Kendra Wilkinson music video. Yech!
