Rob & Chyna: Filming Underway, Storylines Already SO Fake

At what point does a reality show become a “Based on Real Life” series in which a couple of rich kids follow a script, then pick up their phones and send sexts to F-list rappers?

This is definitely the case with the Kardashians, and now Rob & Chyna, Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna’s new reality show.

Slow claps.

They’re reportedly taking home a $ 5 million paycheck, thanks to Kris Jenner, so now all that’s left to do is film some funny scenes, that show the love birds doing things.

What kind of things, you ask?

You know, things. Like, looking at homes to buy even though your mom just threw down $ 2.3 million on your very own.

Sources tell Radar Online that Kardashian and Chyna were perusing Calabasas, CA real estate (where his $ 2.3 million abode is located).

“They were just filming the scenes for the show,” one source said.

“They’re not going anywhere.”

A recent episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians showed Jenner moving new furniture into her son’s home and enlisting the help of “Morally Corrupt” Faye Resnick to decorate.

Show executives are convinced that Kardashian and Chyna are a match made in ratings heaven, and are really banking on them being an entertaining duo.

Kardashian is almost as boring as his younger sisters, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, but I have no idea what Chyna’s personality is like outside of Snapchat.

But none of that matters, because the ink on the deal is dry and the endorsements will start rolling in any day now.

“They both feel that having their own spin-off show under the direction of Kris Jenner is the best way for them to profit off of this entire situation,” the source added.

Kardashian and Chyna, who got engaged in early April, are expecting their first child together, due at the end of the year.

Bethenny Frankel is dating a married man!

As previously reported, Frankel has been dating New York banker Dennis Shields since late 2015, with sources confirming to E! News the semi-serious nature of their relationship.

Although Shields would be a stranger to those who watch The Real Housewives of New York online because he’s yet to appear, Bethenny’s new man has still become a source of contention between Frankel and co-star Luann de Lesseps.

In what way?

On a recent installment of the Bravo hit, Frankel went after the newly-engaged Luann for dating a man that Ramona Singer had also gone out with.

de Lesseps did not respond nicely to this diss, telling E! News:

“She calls me a hypocrite, but really she’s the hypocrite. I’m the one getting married, I’m engaged, and Bethenny’s still trying to get a divorce.”

de Lesseps then added that Frankel is the one “dating married men, not me.”

Whoa there. Shot fired!

With her reputation on the line, Frankel felt a need to hop on Twitter and do something surprising: she verified Luann’s account.

“I’m dating a separated married man,” she wrote on Tuesday, referring to Shields, who was previously married to Jill Schwartzberg in 1990 when he was 23 years old.

Bethenny then referenced her ongoing legal battle with estranged husband Jason Hoppy and added:

“I’m married. I went to high school w his ex wife 30 yrs ago. Any other questions?”

However, while it may seem as if Frankel is constantly at war with her co-stars and as if these women all hate each other, Bethenny made a point to Tweet the contrary.

“You’d be surprised at how much I care about them,” she wrote. “We’ve been through a lot. #donthatetheplayahatethegame”

We wouldn’t be surprised at all actually. This is all scripted by producers. But whatever.

But many fans believe the real fireworks will go off next week when Kailyn Lowry and Javi Marroquin finally come face-to-face to clear up the many rumors that have surrounded their troubled relationship in recent weeks.

We know that Kailyn and Javi are getting divorced.

She confirmed the news in a recent interview after several weeks of dropping hints on social media.

What’s unclear are the details.

Scenes like the one below made it seem as though the couple was calling it quits at least in part because Kailyn can’t have any more children, and her recent miscarriage took a toll on both parties:

In a preview for part two of the reunion special, Javi even begs Kailyn’s forgiveness for not being there for her during one of the more difficult times in her life:

Based on that clip, it looks as though Kail and Javi’s split has been more amicable than previously reported.

“In my mind, I knew it wasn’t my fault, it wasn’t her fault, it wasn’t anybody’s fault,” Javi says at one point.

“I was just hurt and I took it out on her and that was my mistake.”

“I’m sorry and I just want to apologize to her,” Javi said, before confirming that he won’t be living with Kailyn upon returning from Qatar.

Javi seemed genuinely repentant at the time, the reunion special was taped several weeks ago, and Javi seemed to have a change of heart regarding his feelings toward Kailyn some time in the past few days.

On Twitter this week, Javi accused Kailyn of cheating on him and even slammed mutual friends who he claimed helped her to conceal her infidelity.

So what happened in the weeks after the reunion show was filmed?

Did Javi find out that the relationship between Kailyn and Becky Hayter began before he and Lowry decided to separate?
