Disney Gator Attack: Victim"s Family Decides NOT to Sue!

Last month, a 2-year-old boy named Lane Graves was killed by an alligator while staying at a Disney World resort with his family.

As the details of the tragedy emerged, it began to look as though the park was at fault for failure to post signs warning guests that gators and other dangerous wildlife may be present in the shallow waters surrounding the resort.

The case seemed to have the makings of a lawsuit that would not only result in a massive judgment for the Graves family, but also send a message about the importance of proper safety measures to theme parks around the country.

Shockingly, however, TMZ is now reporting that the Graves family has decided not to sue the Disney corporation.

According to the site, Matt and Melissa Graves issued a statement moments ago in which they shared a personal message about their worsening grief, but also revealed that they will not be seeking damages from Disney.

In the statement, the Graves stated that they’re struggling to “comprehend why this happened” and feel that “the pain gets worse” with each passing day.

However, they say that they see nothing to be gained by enduring a lengthy legal process.

In lieu of a lawsuit, the Graves announced that they will found the Lane Thomas Foundation in order to “keep his spirit alive.”

The family didn’t go into specifics regarding the purpose of the foundation.

They also didn’t reveal how it would be funded, but it’s widely assumed that Disney will be footing the bill.

The Graves family has spoken out about the tragedy in the past, and while their anger and grief is clear, they never explicitly blamed Disney.

Perhaps they believe that the death of their son was simply a senseless tragedy and they prefer any action taken in his name to be entirely positive.

Our thoughts go out to the Graves during this difficult time.

Shannen Doherty Shaves Head, Continues To Battle Breast Cancer

She’s shared her journey with fans, who have lent their support and love.

That may have prompted Shannen Doherty to share a very personal, very raw moment on Instagram, in which she decided to shave her head in preparation for chemotherapy.

Doherty was diagnosed with breast cancer in March 2015 after legal documents were leaked, revealing that she was suing her former management company for not paying her insurance premiums.

This, Doherty claimed in the suit, prevented her from catching the cancer earlier.

Last night, she invited her mother and a friend over while she went through the emotional steps, as recorded via Instagram.

Doherty appeared on Dr. Oz back in February, and revealed that she might opt for a mastectomy.

“I’m actually going to a center, just to sort of get their general opinion and then I head back to L.A. and instantly go in with my doctors,” she explained.

“You know, I’m like ‘You guys make the final decision. What would you do if it was your wife? What would you do if it was your daughter?"”

If it came to that point, Doherty revealed she was at peace with the decision.

“Ultimately, they’re just breasts right?” she said.

“I mean, I love them, they’re mine, they’re beautiful, but in the grand scheme of things, I would rather be alive and I would rather grow old with my husband.”

After the appearance, Dr. Oz gave Entertainment Tonight an update on Doherty’s health.

“Shannen was very transparent about what’s going on in her breast,” Dr. Oz said.

“She has decided to have the breast cancer to removed surgically, and that is a big decision for a woman… It was really up to Shannen to decide she was ready to go through an operation she feared would be disfiguring.”

Doherty married photographer Kurt Iswarienko in October 2011.

Doherty’s decision to shave her head indicates that she’s begun or has already started chemotherapy, which can cause hair loss in some patients.

Aaron Rodgers vs. Jordan Rodgers: Timeline of a Football Family Feud!

What the heck happened between Jordan and Aaron Rodgers

Bachelorette and NFL fans alike are asking that very question following Monday"s episode of the ABC show, when their feud was front and center.

Their feud … or estrangement. It"s still not entirely clear.

To backtrack: Jordan Rodgers is the frontrunner for JoJo Fletcher"s love on The Bachelorette, and has been under scrutiny from day one.

He"s been called out as an opportunist by The Bachelorette spoilers, as a cheater by Brittany Farrar, and entitled by his fellow suitors.

And that"s before we even got to his family drama!

While he clearly doesn"t like to talk about it or offer much in the way of details, he can"t deny the fact that he and Aaron are not close.

Aaron Rodgers, Jordan"s brother and quarterback of the NFL"s Green Bay Packers, has been a focal point of The Bachelorette for two weeks.

All without appearing on it. Even in photos.

"Me and Aaron don"t really have that much of a relationship," Jordan said, throwing his older sibling under the bus in as many words.

"It"s just kind of the way he"s chosen to do life, and I chose to stay close with my family and my parents and my brother."

So what happened?

Sources tell ET that Aaron, 32, has, as Jordan awkwardly implied, been estranged from his entire family for years for unknown reasons.

"The entire situation is painful for the family," a source close to them says, while Aaron"s girlfriend, actress Olivia Munn, also alluded to it.

In May while she was promoting X-Men: Apocalypse, she said, "Aaron doesn"t really … I don"t think he"s really talked with his brother."

Olivia was asked about Jordan appearing on this season"s The Bachelorette, and whether Aaron knew about it, and it was uncomfortable.

"So, I actually don"t know," she added.

"It"s complicated … I"ll say that."

Tellingly, Jordan"s Instagram doesn"t have any photos of Aaron, though there are lots of shots of their older brother, Luke, and their parents.

The foursome appear happy together, and this week"s episode felt like a public offering of an olive branch to the star who shuns them.

How will it end? Will it get worse before it gets better if Jordan Rodgers wins the final rose and is scrutinized even more than he is now?

Stay tuned and buckle up.
