Taylor Swift Returns to Instagram: What Did She Say?!?

Taylor Swift has returned to Instagram after a five-day, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West-inspired hiatus.

The musical superstar last shared a message on the social media site when she posted a typed-out response to Kim and Kanye calling her out as a liar.

If you’ll recall, Kardashian shared a series of Snapchat videos late Sunday night that depicted a phone call between her husband and Swift.

They featured Kanye telling Taylor about certain lyrics in the song “Famous” that perhaps painted Swift in a negative light.

But Swift gave her former rival her full approval and even thanked him for reaching out to give her a heads-up.

This filmed happening seemingly contradicted previous statements from Swift in which she reacted in shock and anger over what Kanye rapped in this track.

The back-and-forth gave the celebrity gossip world a lot to discuss over the past week or so.

Taylor has remained mostly silence since the battle got underway, but she broke that silence on Friday.

To lay into Kim further? To say some mean things about Kanye? To plead for forgiveness?

Not quite… no… and definitely not.

Instead, Swift jumped on Instagram to share a throwback photo and to wish best friend Selena Gomez a happy birthday.

“Going through old pictures today, because @selenagomez just turned 24!
I can’t imagine my life without you, Selena. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!” Swift wrote as a caption to the picture above.

Selena has remained by Swift’s side through thick and also through thin.

Soon after this scandal broke, Gomez Tweeted the following in defense of her pal:

“There are more important things to talk about… Why can’t people use their voice for something that f-cking matters?”

This message got Gomez in trouble, however, because it’s not as though she uses her social media platform to bring up important political or global topics.

Still, it’s nice that Selena is there for Taylor. She could use some real friends right about now.

As you can see below, ever since Kim and Kanye exposed Swift, the Internet has been having quite the party at her expense:

The Walking Dead Season 7 Trailer: Who Dies?!?

AMC has released the premiere date and the first official trailer for The Walking Dead Season 7.

First, we can confirm that new episodes of the cable smash hit will kick off on Sunday, October 23 at 9/8c.

This exciting tidbit was dropped today at Comic-Con in San Diego.

Next, we can offer fans a look at scenes from fall installments, as the network has also unveiled the first extended Walking Dead Season 7 preview.

We need to first warn you that, no, the identity of the man or woman on the receiving end of Negan"s baseball bat is not revealed in the video below.

We still don"t know which series regular will not be with us come October. (Although we have our theories!)

The intriguing trailer opens with misty water-colored memories of all the characters (and we mean ALL the character) who might be coming back just long enough to say a violent farewell.

We also get a glimpse one of the new settings to come this year, along with a character from the graphic novel series who is making his long-anticipated debut.

Oh, yes, you can watch here for your first look of Ezekiel (played by newcomer Khary Payton), the ma in charge of a never-before-seen community of survivors known as The Kingdom.

Let"s just say he has a pet tiger.

He also appears to have the kind of resources that Rick may need to defeat Negan once and for all.

(Assuming Rick survives, that is, but come on. We all know Rick is going to survive.)

Check out the trailer below, post your comment with your thoughts on who got killed by Negan and let the countdown to The Walking Dead Season 7 begin!

(NOTE: You can visit TV Fanatic to watch The Walking Dead online at any time if you need to catch up.)

Farrah Abraham Defends Controversial Photos of Daughter Sophia

Earlier this year, a series of photos of Farrah Abraham’s daughter, Sophia, ignited a firestorm of controversy on social media.

Many fans were shocked to learn that Sophia is trying to make it as a model at the tender age of 7 – with her mother’s encouragement, of course.

Obviously, Farrah has never been one to back down from a controversy, so she’s continued to post posed, professional photos of her heavily made-up daughter in hopes of attracting the attention of talent agencies.

With the kind of blind brazenness she’s become well known for, Abraham made it clear that she won’t allow critics – or the fact that the pics occasionally make no damn sense – to stop her:

If you figure out what Farrah’s daughter in a flower crown has to do with a Martin Luther King quote about racial injustice, please drop us a line.

Anyway, Farrah took a short break from promoting the new season of Teen Mom: OG (premiering in August) and her upcoming appearance on Million Dollar Matchmaker (tonight) to toss up a word salad about the modeling controversy:

“There’s a lot of young children who do modeling, and everyone loves her pictures,” she said.

“I think because we’re on Teen Mom: OG, we get bad criticism, but Sophia’s doing amazing in modeling, I couldn’t be more proud of her – she’s opening up her own children’s boutique, we’re selling clothing.

“So the more pictures and more she’s in a positive light and happy with what she’s doing, there’s nothing wrong with embracing how awesome Sophia is.”

Not bad criticism! That’s the worst kind!

As for the seemingly random pairing of Sophia and MLK, Farrah says there was some logic behind the Instagram post that seemed to baffle thousands:

“I’m not showing anything off,” she told People

“I actually loved the image, I loved the Martin Luther King quote and I love inspiring people.”

“I think everyone should can share whatever they wish when their heart is touched and they want to spread more positivity rather than segregation and separation in this world.”

Eh, sure.

If it helped her little girl feel like she was contributing something toward making the world a less frightening place, we suppose it’s fine.

Besides, Farrah makes more sense talking about that than when she shares her thoughts on her daughter’s “career”:

“I think all of our children are little stars, and if they want to take pictures like everyone does, there’s nothing to judge,” she concluded.

“It’s being inspired, it’s being creative, it’s being artsy, and I’m thankful that she has that drive.”

Yes, Farrah admires her 7-year-old daughter’s “drive.”

This situation will really get interesting once Sophia surpasses her intellectually in a couple years.
