The Bachelorette Recap: The Men Tell All & It"s Awkward as Hell

The Bachelorette: Men Tell All special aired Monday on ABC, and the obligatory two hours of filler leading up to the finale lived up to its billing.

That being filler. Mostly.

You don’t need The Bachelorette spoilers to know how this works: Rachel and the men reflect on the season so far. That’s about it.

One thing that made this year’s Men Tell All stand out, though, was Lee Garrett, who Chris Harrison and the other men really took to task.

Lee’s racist behavior was a major focal point of the season before the talk turned to Rachel Lindsay’s final three and Bachelorette spoilers.

Garrett had a lot of explaining to do, and he started out trying reasonably hard, admitting that Kenny never dragged him out of a van.

The other guys, he admitted, were right in pointing out the things he did wrong. But then Chris read off Lee’s racist tweets and whoa.

His responses were just not cutting it.

“I don’t like racism at all,” Lee said.

“It bothers me morally, it bothers me inside. I don’t like it, and when I woke up and I saw that those came out, it hurt me a lot.”

So it bothered him when the tweets came out? Later, he sort of apologized while sortof acknowledging what he was apologizing for.

Better than nothing, we suppose.

“I’m sorry for saying things when I was not educated and ignorant in those subjects,” he eventually said, then apologized to Rachel.

“I took a situation that was very important to you and very important to a lot of people, and I didn’t take that initiative to learn.”

“I watched it and just, goodness.”

Rachel’s other suitors, including Whaboom and Blake, also made an appearance, and for that, we apologize. Just for having to discuss it.

DeMario Jackson referred to his girlfriend, who showed up on the show as a “side chick,” admitting he knew her and sort of dated her.

But it wasn’t really dating, you know?! He made a reference to Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinsky somehow, which did not help his cause.

Then there was Kenny. The producers brought out his daughter, he cried, and he weighed in on nearly every situation going on Monday.

He was very popular.

Finally, Dean Unglert did a lot of talking and received a lot of cheers as well, making us wonder about those Dean is The Bachelor rumors.

Of course, Dean is also headed to Bachelor in Paradise, which could further cement his reputation as a fan favorite, or ruin it altogether.

With that show, it can go either way; Bachelor mainstays have seen their images ruined, or in Nick Viall’s case, completely rejuvenated.

Audrey Roloff: Look at My Belly! And My Nursery!

Little People.

Big World.

Major life events happening for Audrey Roloff!

As loyal fans of this TLC reality show must be aware of by now, Audrey and husband Jeremy Roloff are expecting their first child.

It will be a little girl and she is due on August 31, 2017.

Just in case this wasn’t enough of a significant life change for the beloved couple, Audrey and Jeremy also moved into a new house several weeks ago.

They did so in order to be closer to their family in Oregon.

“We are officially homeowners!!!! What a day, week, and month it’s been,” the 25-year-old announced in late May, adding at the time:

“C-R-A-Z-Y. But today was move-in day, and we are thankful and excited for new beginnings… in more ways that one.”

We haven’t heard much about the new residence since this confirmation, although we do know the Roloffs have been renovating the home before moving in fully.

And now we have an update on just how far along those renovations are.

“4 more weeks until we get to meet our precious baby girl!” Audrey penned as a caption to the first photo in this post, adding on Monday:

“Our house is still unfinished and most of our stuff is still boxed up in the garage… but I was able get a few cute things from @wayfair for the baby room in time!”

Giving followers their first glimpse at her pending daughter’s nursery, Audrey said she simply “could not resist with that little sheepy rocker,” labeling it the “cutest thing ever” and concluding:

“Can’t wait to ACTUALLY move in to our new home (hopefully soon) and enjoy the fruits of our labor. Defintely starting to have a strong urge to settle.”

We can only imagine.

It has to be VERY stressful to be pregnant and also be slowly moving into a house that’s under a remodel.

Perhaps this stress explains why Audrey and Jeremy recently got into an argument.

A simple fight between a husband and a wife would not typically be noteworthy.

But Audrey talked openly this week about disagreeing with Jeremy and offered some advice to other couples who have been through similar back-and-forths.

“We come from different backgrounds, upbringings, parenting, spending habits, theologies, so we are bound to have conflict,” wrote Roloff on Instagram, adding of her and Jeremy:

“It’s not a matter of if we will fight, but when and how.”

How very true and helpful.

Little People, Big World is currently on hiatus, but Season 14 will air this fall and focus a great deal on Audrey’s pregnancy, along with her eventual child birth.

We can’t meet to meet her daughter!

Teen Mom 2 Recap: What the Hell is She Thinking?!

On Teen Mom 2 Season 9 Episode 3 Monday night, Kailyn Lowry decided to come clean about the BIG secret she had been keeping …

Not that viewers were particularly shocked.

Meanwhile on the MTV hit, Briana DeJesus considered adoption after her breakup with Luis, but not everyone in her life was on board.

If you watch Teen Mom 2 online, you know that DeJesus was added to the cast to add some drama, and suffice it to say, she’s done it.

In the aftermath of her breakup with her would-be baby daddy, Bri called an adoption agency to get some information about the process.

Obviously, she didn’t go through with it.

Knowing that DeJesus is happily raising little Stella at this point renders some of the drama of Teen Mom 2 Season 9 Episode 3 moot.

Still, it’s interesting to see how she arrived at that point … and how when Luis texted her that he misses her, Briana’s sister told him:

Get some lotion and use your hand. Ick.

Last night belonged to Kailyn, though.

After she revealed that she’d finally start talking about her pregnancy on camera, which she had tried to avoid, not everyone was happy.

Jo Rivera, her original baby daddy, and his fiancee, Vee Torres, were particularly dismayed … not that she’s going public, but in general.

Vee said what we’re all thinking: Kailyn makes unfortunate life decisions, like getting pregnant for the third time by a third different guys.

And, unlike Jenelle Evans, that third different guy (Chris Lopez) has no interest in sticking around, and the baby’s not even here yet.

“She brought all of us [to Delaware], she’s doing all this s–t. What the hell is she thinking?” Vee said after Jo brought up the pregnancy.

“She should have just been with herself for a while. Like I just don’t understand why… it’s not just her life. Like she’s affecting everyone.”

Probably good Kailyn wasn’t there for that.

Later, Jo and Kailyn’s son Isaac started crying at dinner with Kailyn, Jo and Lincoln, since he wants mom and dad to live together again.

Sad as that is, seeing Lincoln comforting Isaac was sweet; Javi Marroquin, Isaac’s dad, is a good father, as is Jo, who’s come a long way.

Here’s hoping both of them will continue to be, and that their growing, modern family will offer Kailyn some kind of support going forward.

We know Chris Lopez won’t be.

Speaking of difficult family situations, Jenelle and Barbara Evans have been at each other’s throats, with David Eason trying to intervene.

Of course, David isn’t a top-notch mediator, yelling curse words and bad-mouthing Barbara like it’s his job every time he heard a phone call.

When Jenelle called Barbara to arrange dropping Jace off, he caused even more drama … because Barbara sided with him, interestingly.

Will this get worse before it gets better?

In South Dakota, Chelsea struggled with Aubree’s behavior, as the little girl is clearly thrown off by the presence of baby brother Watson.

Chelsea asked Aubree why her behavior changed after Watson was born, and Aubree admitted she gets jealous on multiple levels.

The baby smiles at Cole, but never her, and mom and dad stay up late with the baby while she has to go to bed. Kind of understandable …

Leah Messer also had to deal with some upset children this week, as Addie wept over not spending enough time with her dad, Jeremy.

Her second ex-husband Jeremy Calvert has always worked a lot, and often far away from home, to make a living as a pipeline engineer.

Life in a divorced household is hard.

Everyone on this show has at least one baby daddy who isn’t currently with them, leading to all kinds of emotional, parental conflicts.

Some are handled better than others, and some co-parenting arrangements work more smoothly than others. That goes without saying.

At the end of the day, each of the Teen Mom 2 stars has a lot on her plate, but they’re trying the best they can to persevere as always.

Jeremy Bieber: I"m Coming For You, Son!

Fans of Justin Bieber are not the only ones concerned about the singer.

It now seems pretty clear that the artist’s father has a few pressing questions and issues of his own at the moment.

As previously outlined, Bieber stunned his followers when he announced last week that he was canceling the remaining dates on his world tour.

This announcement was initially met with surprise, sadness and confusing, considering insiders claimed Bieber was simply too tired to continue performing.

It seemed like a lame reason, let’s be honest.

But rumors quickly circulated that the singer wasn’t particularly exhausted; instead, he had grown especially close to a pastor named Carl Lentz and this relationship has transformed Bieber’s life.

In particular, it has reportedly transformed his priorities in life.

Various sources have said over the past few days that Lentz never told Bieber to end his tour.

However, Bieber was strongly influenced by conversations with Lentz, undergoing some kind of spiritual awakening that has placed his entire musical future in jeopardy.

Might Justin never sing another song ever again?

This possibility has millions of supporters concerned, of course.

Moreover, according to TMZ, it has Justin’s own father in a panic.

Jeremy Bieber flew from Ontario to Los Angeles over the weekend (along with Bieber’s younger brother, Jaxon), presumably to exert some fatherly influence on his famous child.

TMZ writes that Jeremy was “seen driving around town in a convertible” this week, apparently “tailing Justin, who was in his own vehicle.”

Someone close to the situation has told the celebrity gossip website that Jeremy’s visit is not some kind of coincidence.

It is a “direct response” to Bieber’s difficult week and his burgeoning relationship with Lentz.

Bieber and his dad have always had an up-and-down relationship of their own.

The artist was mostly raised by his mother, who gave birth to him as a teenager, while he and Jeremy have often goes long periods of time without hanging out at all.

Based on social media photos, at least, it appears as if Jeremy and Justin have not spent any QT together since late last year.

When father and son have gotten along in the past, it has sometimes led to some pretty major scandals.

We don’t think it’s a stretch to say that Jeremy Bieber hasn’t always been the best influence on Justin Bieber, which may even explain why Justin has been seeking guidance in a father figure such as Lentz.

So… what does a visit from his pops mean for Bieber at this stage of his life?

We have no idea.

We can’t even say for certain exactly what is going on in Bieber’s life.

But if he’s going through some kind of personal crisis and if he’s seeking answers to some pretty huge questions, let’s all hope he finds them.

Yes, even if that means he puts his music career on hold for awhile.

We’re sorry, Beliebers. But some things are just more important than Justin’s next hit.
