Khloe Kardashian Gender Reveal: What"s She Having?!?

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians Seasin 14 finale was titled “The Gender Reveal.”

For what reason?

Because Khloe Kardashian learned during the episode whether she was having a boy or a girl baby in a few weeks!

She learned this vital piece of information from half-sister Kylie Jenner for some scripted reason, as Kylie called Keeks while the latter was on vacation in San Francisco.

(Would a doctor even tell the results to anyone aside from his or her patient? We’re pretty sure not. But whatever. This is TV, people!)

“You’re having a girl!” a pumped-up Kylie tells Khloe over the phone.

“You’re lying!” responds a stunned Khloe.

“I’m not lying,” Kylie replies. “I’m so excited for you Khloe!”

But Khloe can’t reciprocate this feeling.

She sounds very disappointed with the news, saying it comes as a major surprise, despite there being just two possibilities for what this answer could have been.

“I don’t feel like I’m having a girl,” she says.

Kim, who was on the trip with Khloe, then tried to comfort her sister, saying, she, too, was sad to discover she was having a girl the first time she was pregnant.

“It’s OK, I cried when I found out North was going to be a girl too,” she explained.

“I don’t feel like I’m having a girl at all. I’m like in a state of shock,” Khloe reiterated, sticking to whatever words were penned for her by producers that would milk this moment for all the drama possible.

On Twitter after the finale aired, Khloe said she had a boy name picked out, which is part of the reason why she felt so let down by the truth.

She also tried to expound on her initial reaction on the episode itself:

“When you have your mind made up as to what you’re having, like everyone told me you’re going to feel what you’re having and you’ll just kind of know.

“And then when you find out it’s the complete opposite it’s just a shock.

“I just was convinced that I was having a boy, so to be having a girl it’s just like, ‘OK that wasn’t what I thought was going on."”

Khloe then called her mother and went over the whole story again.

“I’m really hoping Kylie’s gonna say she’s lying and like I’m really having a boy,” Kardashian said, still unable to process this truly unexpected developments.

Replied Kris Jenner:

“Khloe, the only thing I wanted in life, the only thing, was a boy. Three times, and I got the three of you: a man is much more attached to a girl.”

(Ummmm, what: did she just tell Khloe to be psyched because this means Tristan Thompson won’t leave her?!?)

“Totally, and I know Tristan will be in love and I’ll be in love and she’ll be so cute and whatever,” Khloe said in return trying to convince herself.

“This will be the love of his life, no offense to you, but this will be the love of his life,” Kris tells Khloe, to which she joked:

“Well, then I’m going to get jealous. I’m jealous. Well, then I don’t like that. I don’t like her.”

It took Khloe a little while to get there, but as you can see above, she’s now down with her kid’s gender.

“I am now so excited my daughter will have forever best friends with Chicago and Stormi!! God is great!!! Thank you Lord for our princess,” Tweeted the mother-to-be.

This will be Khloe’s first child and SHE is due some time in March or early April.

Kim also reacted to the gender reveal on social media, writing:

Khloe’s baby will join Kim’s two daughter Chicago and Kylie’s daughter Stormi as new female additions to this famous family.

What do you think of Khloe’s reaction to the news?

Was it weird or cute? Plotted ahead of time or legitimately spontaneous?

And, most importantly, what do you think she’ll name her daughter?!?

Taraji P. Henson DESTROYS Ryan Seacrest on Red Carpet

There were not many surprises at the 90th annual Academy Awards on Sunday night.

As expected, The Shape of Water won Best Picture and Frances McDormand won Best Actress, for example.

But the real action took place ahead of the annual show, as E! decided to let Ryan Seacrest interview celebrities on the red carpet…

… despite some sexual harassment allegations having been leveled against the omnipresent host.

(A former stylist claims Seacrest made inappropriate remarks at her and took inappropriate actions with her, such as pushing her head toward his crotch at one point.)

Seacrest did not land nearly as many pre-Oscars interviews as normal, with many stars shunning him on the red carpet out of respect for the #MeToo movement.

But Taraji P. Henson did choose to speak to Seacrest.

And she also chose to destroy him on live television.

After being asked a question by Seacrest, Henson smirked at the possibly shady man in front of her and replied:

“The universe has a way of taking care of taking care of good people,” she said, as she touched the E! host on the chin. “You know what I mean?”

Seacrest said that he agreed, while social media unanimously agreed that Henson had just completely torched Seacrest on his very own show.

A few users pointed to Henson giving Seacrest a hug after the interview as proof that they are no hard feelings.

And Henson later told People Magazine, amidst chatter that she dissed Seacrest during their chat, specifically with the way she touched his face:

“I did it to keep his chin up. It’s an awkward position to be in. He’s been cleared but anyone can say anything."

Later, Seacrest addressed the situation on Twitter, writing that he had “nothing but love for his friend” and thanking her for “hanging out with us on the E! Red Carpet.”

Are you buying this, though?

Just watch this exchange!

The Walking Dead Season 8 Episode 10 Recap: The Lost and the Plunderers

How does life continue after the death of a loved one?

That was the big question on The Walking Dead Season 8 Episode 10, an hour which focused on six different stories. Yeah, fans tend to complain about the slow episodes that follow just one character, so this one seemed like a way of proving the show can still be exciting.

Michonne

We picked up with Michonne in the immediate aftermath of Carl’s death. Michonne realized that Carl had painted his hands with Judith’s on the porch.

Michonne and Rick realized the best foot forward was to make a getaway from Alexandria and regroup with their allies somewhere else.

Rick was not wanting to follow through on Carl’s last wishes, and refused to read the letter Carl left for him. The only thing giving Rick the drive he needed was finding a way to get the truth from Jadis about the alliance.

When they arrived at the landfill Jadis and her mischevious group called home, walkers descended on them, and it did not look good.

Negan

Negan and Simon were chatting about what happened when they attacked each of the places they planned to. Negan did not know how to feel about the fact that Carl played him.

Was he ready to admit that Carl was one of the best manipulators around, or was he prepared to move on and try to take down some more of Rick’s group?

Well, it seemed like Simon was lying to him for a start. He claimed the drama at Hilltop all went to plan. Negan then told Simon “the garbage people” were next on the hit list.

Negan tasked Simon with killing one of them to keep them in line. It was a classic move from the Negan playbook.

Enid

Aaron and Enid were stuck at Oceanside, and Rachel was still whining about Natania being killed. She even went as far as claiming they should be killed.

Cyndie was the one given the power to decide who to kill, and she thought about it.

Enid admitted to Aaron that, given the opportunity, she would kill again. In the end, the pair were ousted from Oceanside and told never to return … or else.

Aaron said he was going to stick around because he needed to get them to join the fight with them. Enid worried that she would not see him again, but a new friendship was formed.

Simon

Simon made his way to the Hilltop and Jadis tried to imply that she had not sided with Rick and that she was still on his side. Simon said the Saviors needed to take all of their belongings to prove the “garbage people” were on board with Negan.

Simon made some jokes about the garbage, and then shot Brion because Jadis was anything but open with him. Simon then gave the order to take down all of the Scavengers. Yeah, he was totally going against Negan’s word on this one.

Jadis

When Rick and Michonne made their getaway from the walkers, they realized the walkers were actually the Scavengers. She admitted that she thought she and her people could make something of the landfill and that’s why they stuck around for so long.

“This was our world, apart form everyone else in every way,” she dished. She pleaded with Rick to allow her to join him and his people, but he left her high and dry to fend for herself.

Rick

Rick was glad he did not kill her, but he was too consumed by his grief to care about what came next. Rick decided to read some letters, and he was shocked to learn that there was one for Negan.

He looked at it and found out that Carl wanted peace between everyone because too many people died. Rick called out for Negan on the walkie-talkie and said that he was coming for him.

Negan concluded that Rick had already lost.

What do you think?
