The Voice Recap: Do We Have a Potential Winner?!

Night Four of the Blind Auditions brought some more excellent performances our way, but is anyone else getting the feeling the auditions are dragging on this time around?

It’s obvious who will make it through, but hey, NBC wants to milk the show to help boost ratings across the network.

The judging panel consisting of Kelly Clarkson, Alicia Keys, Blake Shelton and Adam Levine has never been stronger than it is now, but which coach will nurture a singer all the way to the winning circle?

It’s not like it matters because we almost never hear from a winner again, but we’re sure it makes for some good talking points during salary negotiations with the coaches.

Let’s break down the five acts who were given the green light to continue their journey with the series.

Spensha Baker – “Blackbird”

Spensha appeared on the stage and wowed the coaches with her vocals that scaled heights we never knew was possible for a first audition.

Her rendition of The Beatles song was up there as one of the best of the season to date. Yes, she snagged a place on Team Blake, and we think that will be the best place for her.

Alexa Cappelli – “I’ve Got the Music in Me”

At first glance, Alexa came across as a dull performer, but she more than made up for it when she belted out the Kiki Dee classic.

She had the sass, charisma and seemed marketable as a young pop star. Kelly was enamored with her and even offered to sing a duet.

So, we think that was a positive performance.

Wilkes –  “One Headlight”

Then there was Wilkes. Wilkes was filled with big promises about how great his voice was, but the overall performance was just okay.

There was nothing about it that made us want to listen to him again. Alas, he joined Team Blake, and we’re not so sure he will last long.

Jaron Strom – “This Magic Moment”

Jaron had the charm and the looks, but he struggled with the vocals during this rendition of this Ben E. King number. He may get the votes from the teenage girls, but aside from that, he didn’t make much of an impression.

He joined Team Blake, but how long will he last?

Terrence Cunningham – “My Girl”

Talk about saving the best for last! Terrence hit all the high notes and changed things up for this The Temptations hit. His vocals were polished, and he is the type of person who will make it to the end.

He joined Team Alicia.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 8 Episode 12 Recap: Gag Fit

You don’t mess with Lisa Vanderpump, and Dorit Kemsley learned that the hard way on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 8 Episode 12

If you watch The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills online, you will know that the pair have been at odds for weeks now, and that’s down to Dorit running her mouth at every turn.

When the episode got underway, Camille Grammer and Lisa Rinna were showing off their smoking bodies, and complaining about how they are not fans of the way they look.

In Camille’s defense, she’s been through a lot the past few years. She did have Stage 2 cancer, but it seems she is in remission now, and we are so thankful she can stick around to throw zingers at the other housewives.

While that was going down, Kyle and Erika went out for some lunch and debriefed with each other about Lisa V going to war with both Kyle and Dorit.

Kyle seemed happy that she made things right with Lisa, but it sure sounded like she was still mad at Dorit. Dorit has been causing nothing but trouble during The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 8.

She’s battled with just about every cast member, but Lisa V was determined to put the past behind her, and it was about time.

Camille threw a big event for the Foundation for Women’s cancer, and all the women were on board to support her, but Dorit had an ulterior motive at the event.

“The only thing I care about is repairing my relationship with Lisa Vanderpump,” she said to the audience as though butter wouldn’t melt.

That’s when things got awkward. Lisa seemed to want to just move past all of the drama, but when Dorit is practically hanging off her ankle like a puppy wanting attention, it gets tedious.

The event went well, but Dorit persisted in her quest to get Lisa back on her side, and it resulted in Lisa leaving after being chased by Dorit.

They chatted on the couch, and it looked like Dorit was holding her against her will. All Dorit wanted was assurance that the past was indeed behind them.

That irked Lisa because of all the crap Dorit had caused. All it would have taken is an apology, but Dorit does not have the word “sorry” in her vocabulary for some reason.

Lisa admitted that Dorit calling her needy “wasn’t exactly a f—ing compliment.” Lisa made her getaway, but Dorit was not done and continued to follow her.

The final big event of the episode focused on Lisa’s birthday lunch, and she was still pissed about the way Dorit had acted earlier.

Teddi was first to arrive, and Lisa opened up to her about how much she was mad. She then said that she was going to serve Dorit champagne in a tumbler if she asked for a drink.

In case you missed it: Dorit and Teddi only hate each other because Teddi served her wine in a champagne flute. Yes, that’s how twisted Dorit can be.

Surprisingly, Dorit was served her drink in an ugly green tumbler, and she was not impressed.

Camille also got some revenge on Dorit by giving her a pink ball gag, presumably to shut her mouth for a few minutes.

Dorit decided she was not going to the after party at Pump and departed with a look of thunder on her face.

We have one word for you, Dorit: Karma!

“Well, yes Dorit, I’m going to have a dig at you. I’ll say it with humor, I’ll couple it with jest — but I’m sending the message that this relationship has taken on a slightly different meaning,” said Lisa in a confessional.

The final scene found Lisa reshooting the photos for the jewelry line Dorit modeled for because Dorit did not like them. Yes, Lisa Vanderpump is back, and Dorit had better watch out.

Becca Kufrin is The Bachelorette! And These are Her Suitors!

You can do SO much better, Becca Kufrin.

This was the general response across the Internet after this Bachelor suitor was scorned in unique and awful fashion by Arie Luyendyk Jr. on the stunning Season 22 finale.

Becca accepted Arie’s proposal on the episode…

… only to then be dumped about a month later on national television.

Kufrin handled the disrespectful snub as well as anyone could, but viewers learned on Tuesday night that she will, at least, have a chance to do SO much better than Arie.

Because Becca Kufrin has been named The Bachelorette!

Chris Harrison made this mostly expected announcement on yesterday’s After the Rose special, as Becca sat across from the host and admitted her breakup with Arie was “hard.”

HOWEVER…

“It was easy [to say yes], once I got past the initial heartbreak,” she said of becoming The Bachelorette. “I have so much love to give.”

Kufrin then added:

“I want to be the best damn Bachelorette I can be. I want to find love. I’m ready to do this.”

Twitter seems pretty psyched over Becca’s selection, as does ABC itself.

“She’s just been so incredibly strong,” network executive Robert Mills told Entertainment Tonight, continuing:

“She really knows how to handle herself, and she’s taking this in stride and you can’t help but love her.”

Producers, meanwhile, wasted no time in throwing Becca to a bunch of horny and handsome wolves.

That’s right: a handful of suitors came right out on stage and introduced themselves to the new and excited Bachelorette!

First up? Some dude named Lincoln.

“I have to say, you are absolutely glowing tonight – you look magnificent,” he told her.

“This is a special night. It is all about you tonight, but I have another twist. Tonight is also my birthday, so I can’t ask for a better birthday present.

“I’m really looking forward to going on this incredible journey with you.”

And then there was Chase.

“I saw what you went through as well and my heart goes out to you,” he said of how Arie played Becca.

“I think that everyone agrees with me here that you deserve better than that. When one door closes, another door opens and I hope to be that open door.

“That smile is beautiful and I can’t wait to see it when I walk out of the limo for the first time!”

Your turn, Darius!

After making a point to “formally apologize on behalf of my gender,” this hopeful husband looked Becca in the eyes and said:

“I’m here for one reason. … I’m here for you. I’m excited for this journey with you, and you are beautiful.”

Dude is good, huh?

And easy on the eyes!

What about being easy on the ears?

That was Brian’s hope, as this future contestant arrived with banjo and song in hand.

“I want you to know how incredibly brave I think it is that you’re standing here right now,” said Brian, expounding as follows:

“I really respect that a lot and I can’t wait to get to know you.”

And, finally, Becca met Blake… who came out with a horse and message.

“As the saying goes, when you fall off the horse, you’ve got to get back up again,” he explained.

“So I’ve brought you this horse, and I want to be the man to help you get back up again.”

Dude is absolutely getting at least one rose, wouldn’t you say?

So there you have it.

Eff you, Arie. And go you, Becca.

“I’m not afraid to date these guys and find the one who is the best fit for me,” Kufrin tells People in its latest issue, concluding:

“I want to keep in mind, the people who I really do fall for and have strong feelings for, if was them how would I want to be treated?

“And I want think about the bigger picture and the outcome. Is it best to say ‘I love you’ to two people? I don’t know. If I do feel that need, I want to make sure I’m 100 percent sure and keep in mind their feelings.

“I want to keep their needs and emotions at the forefront.”

Look for Becca to debut as The Bachelorette later this year.
