Kim Kardashian Apartment Video: Who Filmed It?!?

Controversy has arisen over a video that features Kim Kardashian.

No, for once we are not making a joke about the Kim Kardashian sex tape.

The latest piece of footage that features the world’s best-known reality star was instead filmed in the early morning hours of October 3, very soon after Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint in Paris.

By now, we’re guessing you know most of the details:

A number of armed assailants broke into Kim’s apartment. They tied her hands behind her back. They gagged her. They tossed her in the bathroom.

And they got away with over $ 11 million worth of jewelry, including a $ 4.5 million ring that had recently been gifted to Kim by husband Kanye West.

Kardashian has said nothing about the incident to the public, simply giving a statement to French authorities and then flying home to be with West and her family.

Multiple insiders have said the frightening incident has shaken Kardashian to the core, however.

She screamed and begged for her life. She thought she was going to be raped. She may even drop out of Keeping Up with the Kardashians as a result.

Earlier this week, meanwhile, a video emerged that was allegedly filmed of Kim, her assistant and members of the Paris police force.

We first saw the tape on Radar Online, which used the footage to ask whether Kardashian was actually lying about the robbery.

Featuring an inside look at Kim’s apartment immediately after the robbery took place, the video depicted Kardashian sitting calmly on her couch and using her phone.

It gave close-ups of the walls in the apartment, on which mirrors and pieces of art remained fully intact.

It also offered glimpses of doors that did not appear to be forced open in any way.

The idea was that the apartment did not resemble a scene where armed thieves had just broken in, held someone captive and stolen multiple items of jewelry.

But whether you believe Kim somehow invented this entire story (for insurance money, goes the theory, because Kanye is in debt) is not the point here.

The point is this:

In France, it is against the law to film someone in a private setting without their consent.

TMZ sources confirm that police believe this video fits that description and cops are investigating the person behind the camera.

He or she could face a year in jail and a fine worth about $ 50,000 if convicted of the illegal taping crime.

As we stated above, the video was featured on Radar Online and other websites, but has since been taken because after Kardashian’s team alerted these outlets to the tape’s illegal nature.

We refused to share it because it felt like an invasion of Kim’s privacy.

And she’s been through enough over the past two weeks. Don’t you agree?

As for the issue of Kim actually lying about the entire robbery, you tell us:

IS KIM KARDASHIAN MAKING THIS STORY UP?
