The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 7 Episode 16 Recap: Is Bitch Better?

On The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 7 Episode 16, Dolores Catania was still furious in the wake of her argument with Jacqueline Laurita.

Yes, Jacqueline seems to be getting into arguments with absolutely everyone on the show, but it’s making for good TV, so who are we to judge?

Jacqueline’s defense was that Dolores was trying to make her look like a no-show, but she didn’t really have to make look like one.

She kind of covered that for herself when she was saying she was “under the weather” and could not attend.

Jacqueline further claimed that Dolores already knew she would not be attending and only called her on camera to make her look bad.

Okay then.

It seems a bit elaborate and all, but this is The Real Housewives of New Jersey. All everyone seems concerned about is doing better than everyone else.

Kathy Wakile took it upon herself to play mediator, but Dolores was adamant that she needed some time away from Jacqueline.

However, Teresa Guidice appeared and stuck the knife in by trashing Jacqueline some more. This did not sit well with Kathy, who tried to defend Jacqueline.

Teresa then stormed off as though she was done with it all.

Teresa was battling some demons of her own. She was nervous and sad about attending her first event without her husband, Joe Giudice.

The former convict then REVEALED to the cameras:

“This is the first event without my husband.”

“It’s been a week. There’s going to be hard days, sad days, but it just something that we’ve got to do.”

If you watch The Real Housewives of New Jersey online, of even if you don’t, you’ll know that Joe is currently in the slammer.

For the next few YEARS. Gonna be rough.

Melissa pressed on with her fashion show, but there were some hurdles a long the way. Some of the models just looked out of synch with the others.

Even though it was not the most polished show, it was deemed a success by the crowd.

At the end of the night, Siggy Flicker decided she would try her hand at being the mediator and invited Melissa, Teresa, Dolores and Jacqueline over to her house for a lunch date.

The purpose of the date was to talk over all of their problems and try to find a way to move on.

Before the big lunch date, Teresa indulged in a chat with her lawyer about the dire state of her finances and revealed that there was a chance she would have to sell her home because she was struggling.

Jacqueline showed up for lunch and sounded rather condescending towards Siggy.

“I came for you because I know how it feels to be that person in the middle,” she told Siggy.

“I took it too far in Vermont and I said horrible things to Teresa and I take accountability for that, but I was very deeply hurt.”

When Dolores showed up, she and Jacqueline made up pretty much instantly.

The drama didn’t get heated until Melissa and Jacqueline showed up.

Jacqueline immediately got snappy and claimed she was the one calling the shots and would be speaking to both Jacqueline and Melissa individually.

Teresa noted that Jacqueline was not being fair, but just as they started going at it, Jacqueline ran off.

“She’s dead to me,” Teresa declared.

“She makes me sick. She makes me want to f–king vomit … She’s a disgrace.”

It sure seems like Teresa and Jacqueline will never be friends again.
