MTV is not taking any chances when it comes to Farrah Abraham and Amber Portwood’s ongoing feud.
The network apparently made the decision to beef up security for a recent event to promote the new season of Teen Mom OG.
“There were security guards everywhere to ensure that Amber and Farrah were kept away from each other,” a production insider told Radar.
As you are probably aware, things took a crazy turn at the filming for last season’s reunion episode of the reality series in the wake of the revelation that Abraham seemed to think Matt Baier looked like a “pedophile.”
After Amber heard Farrah talking smack about her man, she stormed the stage to hit her enemy. Matt and Farrah’s father joined in the fight.
What followed was a hilarious fight scene that went down as one of the best scenes in reality TV history. Have a look at the fight below.
In the wake of the fight, Amber declared that she was leaving the series and would not return to film, but she later revealed her comments were blown out of proportion and returned to filming.
Apparently, both women kept away from each other at the event in New York. Maybe the producers have told the ladies to save round two for the next reunion taping.
Farrah has been known for her outlandish reactions to the most civil of circumstances. If you watch Teen Mom OG online, you will have witnessed the foul-mouthed porn star trashing everyone and anyone that gets in her way.
It makes for good TV, but it must make for a toxic environment. Not helping matters is that Farrah has an on-off relationship with Simon Saran.
The pair bring out the worst in each other and seem to join forces to attack their cast members. It’s sad, but maybe they’re trying to ensure they are kept on the show.
Amber and Catelynn Lowell opened up in a recent interview about the couple, even going as far branding Simon a “weirdo” after he seemed to think he and Farrah would be welcome at her wedding.
Yes, that’s just how deluded Abraham and Saran are.
