Courtland Rogers: Arrested! Yes, Again!

Courtland Rogers is in trouble with the law.

Yes, again.

The ex-husband of Teen Mom 2’s Jenelle Evans, Rogers is no stranger to run-ins with the police, nearly always do to a penchant for narcotics.

In March, for example, he was arrested on one felony account of possession of a schedule III drug with intent to manufacture, sell, or distribute.

This arrest came about a year and a half after Rogers was booked for heroin possession.

At that point, he had already been divorced from Jenelle for several months, but his name will always be associated with the Teen Mom veteran due to their shared history of drug abuse.

It’s a history that Evans would not say is in the past…

… but about which Courtland cannot make the same claim.

Scroll down to learn why:

According to TMZ, Rogers was hauled off to a North Carolina jail on Tuesday after being indicted last month.

The troubled Z-Lister is facing a pair of drug-related charges:

1. Selling and delivering schedule III substances.

2. Possession with intent to sell and distribute schedule III substances.

These are serious allegations, both of which stem from a drug possession-related arrest back in November.

(It can be hard to keep up, we know. But the general theme here is that Rogers gets caught with a lot of big-time drugs on him. Often.)

Rogers was also hit with an habitual felon charge because he’d been arrested and convicted for his third felony in the state in 2013.

Courtland was released from Brunswick County Jail on a $ 15,000 bond, but may very well face prison time for this latest arrest.

Thankfully, Rogers had no kids with Jenelle; the pair were married for fewer than two years.

However, Rogers did welcome a son named Camryn into the world just 10 days ago, courtesy of wife Lindsey.

He does come across like a doting dad on social media, sharing a picture just last night of himself and his newborn, along with the caption: “me and my boy.”

We just hope Rogers makes a strong commitment to being this boy’s father, although it may already be too late.

In December, Courtland took to Twitter to insist that he was finished using drugs, writing at the time:

“So NOW with 2 and a half years of sobriety & preparing for my son’s birth I am focused on my family because in the end… that’s ALL THAT MATTERS.”

Alas, drug addiction is no joke.

We very much hope Rogers finds the help that he seems to need, even if it means he sits in jail for a long period of time.
