The thoughts and prayers of everyone in Hollywood continue to be with Demi Lovato.
As previously reported, the artist was transported to a Los Angeles-area hospital this week after she was found unconscious at home, allegedly due to a drug overdose.

1. She is Awake and with Loved Ones
A few hours after reports of Lovato’s overdose surfaced, her rep released a statement that reads: “Demi is awake and with her family who want to express thanks to everyone for the love, prayers and support. Some of the information being reported is incorrect and they respectfully ask for privacy and not speculation as her health and recovery is the most important thing right now.”
2. Was This an Overdose?
Yes, nearly every outlet is reporting. However, TMZ writes that Lovato did NOT overdose on heroin, as initially reported and believed.
3. What was the Substance Then?
No one knows right now. TMZ says Lovato was not cooperative when asked by paramedics, refusing to divulge was drug she had taken. But, again, the website says it was not heroin.
4. What Else Could It Have Been?
Insiders close to the situation have told The Blast how the incident report states that a nurse at the hospital told police Demi was using methamphetamine in the time leading up to the incident. The manner in which she was allegedly using the substance was not revealed.
5. Will She Face Criminal Charges?
It doesn’t appear that way because authorities did not find any drugs on her or even around her. It’s unclear as of this writing whether they even discovered any drug paraphernalia at her house.
6. Who is with Her Right Now?
According to E! News, Lovato’s mother, Dianna De La Garza, and her 16-year-old sister, Madison De La Garza, were seen at the hospital late Tuesday afternoon.
