Alaskan Bush People: Gabe Brown and Raquell Rose Are Getting Married!

Back in August, Alaskan Bush People star Noah Brown married Rhain Alisha in a beautiful, low-key ceremony.

Now it’s another member of the Brown family’s turn.

This time, it’s Gabe Brown — who filed for a marriage license before anyone heard a word about an engagement!

RadarOnline reports that Gabe Brown is either married already — or about to be.

A clerk at the Marriage License Office in Okanogan, Washington says that Gabe and his girlfriend got their marriage papers last month.

“Gabriel Brown and Raquell Pantilla filed for a marriage license in person on October 8,” the clerk confirms.

Raquell is not unfamiliar to fans who follow the Brown family on social media.

In fact, it was Gabe’s youngest sister Rain who revealed Gabe’s relationship with Raquell “Rose” Pantilla.

Rain has joked about beinga  third wheel, but she and Raquell have described each other as the best of friends.

A source close to the Brown family didn’t quite confirm Gabe’s marriage, but didn’t exactly deny it, either.

“They have been spending a lot of time together,” the family source acknowledged.

The insider affirmed that “really likes her.”

We’ve all been able to tell that much just from watching them on social media.

Just look at this photo that Gabe shared of his and Raquell’s hands forming a heart together.

Gabe Brown and Raquel Pantilla Hold Hands

Now, as we were all so recently reminded with Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin, a marriage license can be a little ambiguous.

We looked it up, and Washington state law says that a marriage license has a three-day waiting period.

(That, folks, is to prevent people who are blitzed out of their minds from having impulsive weddings with someone they just met)

After those three days are over, the couple has 60 days in which to have their wedding.

After that, if they have not held a wedding, the marriage license becomes invalid.

If our understanding that this gives Gabe and Raquell a total of 63 days in which to tie the knot is correct, they must hold their wedding by December 10.

Just because Gabe and Raquell need to hold a wedding between October 11 and December 10 doesn’t mean that it has to be large.

Noah’s wedding, after all, was a pretty small event.

It is entirely possible that Gabe and Raquell have already had a wedding somewhere on the Brown family’s private, spacious homestead.

If your dad buys 435 acres of land, we sure hope that there’s enough room for you to get married on it.

If so, we hope that they’ll make an announcement about it soon.

But they still have an entire month — and some change — to hold that wedding. Maybe it hasn’t happened yet.

Gabe Brown has not always been so lucky in love.

In late November of last year, Rain warned her fans and followers that an imposter was pretending to be Gabe Brown.

This imposter was catfishing fans, some of whom developed real feelings for the fake Gabe.

Months later, when fans learned of Gabe’s relationship with Raquel, some accused Gabe of seducing them — having ignored Rain’s warning.

These fans may have seen Rain’s warning but refused to believe that they were being catfished.

We’re glad that Gabe and Raquell were able to get past that.

Still, Gabe and Raquell have only been dating for … possibly less than a year.

Though Raquell has been getting along well with the Brown family — especially with Rain — some wonder if they’re rushing things.

It’s always a little surprising when a couple goes from “dating” to “married” (or close enough) without any real engagement in between.

But sometimes, couples just know.

Congratulations to Gabe and Raquell!

Alaskan Bush People Finale Trailer Teases Fire, Ami"s Health, and a Wedding!

In real time, Matt Brown has checked into rehab. That is a brave and smart decision. On television, the Browns have other concerns.

Alaskan Bush People Season 8 has scarcely begun … but it is almost over. This season ends on Sunday.

But we have the season finale promo trailer for you, promising danger, medical news, and a wedding.

Alaskan bush people season 8 finale preview 04

The official Twitter account for Discovery"s Alaskan Bush People tweeted this promo for the season finale.

"We"re not ready to say goodbye," the tweet laments.

No one is — like we said, we"re only a few episodes into the season.

"Join us for the season finale," the tweet invites fans and followers. "Sunday at 9p on Discovery and Discovery GO."

Time passes so quickly these days.

Alaskan bush people season 8 finale preview 03

Within the promo trailer itself, the family faces a new menace as they battle the elements in Washington.

"We"ve had floods," Gabe lists.

Gabe continues, saying: "We"ve had road issues."

"And now," he laments. "Fire."

Alaskan bush people season 8 finale preview 01

"The fire seems very serious," viewers hear.

"I"ve never seen that much smoke," Bird confesses.

Those of us who have been around massive wildfires can attest — it"s a unique experience. And it is not a fun one.

Bird explains: "The fires are just that close."

Watching the trailer, fans can see that for themselves.

We just hope that Ami Brown was in California. That much smoke is not good for a lung cancer patient.

Alaskan bush people season 8 finale preview 05

Speaking of Ami, the finale shows her return from her checkup.

"How"d it go?" the family asks.

"We finally got the results in," Billy begins.

His voice sounds a little uneasy. Whether it"s genuine emotion or played up for the cameras (or both) is difficult to say.

"Everything is, uh …" Billy continues.

Naturally, this is a teaser trailer., so his words cut off there.

Alaskan bush people season 8 finale preview 06

Fans do not get to hear those results until they watch the episode.

That said, Ami"s cancer was reportedly in remission as of last July.

We expect that they"ll deliver good news after the show plays up the tension.

Ami"s health is not the only (hopefully) good news to which viewers will be treated.

"And a new Brown joins the family," one of the trailer"s internal cards teases.

Alaskan bush people season 8 finale preview 02

We know, of course, that Noah Brown married Rhain Alisha back in August.

At the time, we had hoped that viewers would get to see this special occasion. Clearly, they will.

Additionally, that card"s phrasing — referring to Rhain as another Brown — is further confirmation that Rhain will take Noah"s last name.

Hopefully, that will lay those nastily persistent fan rumors to rest.

Not every family, even on reality television, has to be consumed by feuding just because that is more entertaining to viewers.

We look forward to the finale — and to even more of the Brown family.

Matt Brown, Alaskan Bush People Star, Checks Into Rehab

Matt Brown has taken the first step in his hopeful path to recovery.

The Alaskan Bush People star has admitted he needs help.

Speaking to People Magazine, the Discovery Channel personality says he is checking into rehab for the second time in order to receive assistance for a dependency on alcohol.

“I struggle with substance abuse, and after a year of ups and downs, I decided to return to treatment,” the oldest Brown son tells the publication in this week’s issue.

He adds:

“I’m really grateful for everyone’s support and hope to have my life back on track soon.”

The reality star first entered a treatment facility of this nature in the spring of 2016.

What made him realize that he had to try again and that he had to turn his life around?

“I could see myself spiraling,” Brown explains, acknowledging that he had been spending more and more time drinking over the previous year.

“I was more withdrawn. I was slower. Things didn’t excite me the way they used to.”

On a recent episode of Alaskan Bush People, Matt got injured while helping to build the family’s new residence.

Overall, meanwhile, the Browns have been through a whole lot over the past two years; most notably, of course, the loved ones have been dealing with matriarch Ami’s very serious lung cancer diagnosis.

It was believeed for awhile that Ami would not survive the Stage 4 illness, but she remains a major part of the series and of the family.

Due to her need for medical care, however, the Browns have left Alaska and settled in rural Washington.

Now, they’ll be without Matt for an unspecified period of time.

(It’s unclear at the moment just where Matt will receive treatment and for how long he will be there.)

“It’s hard not having one of my babies here with us,” says Ami, who is now cancer-free, yet has been informed she should undergo tests every three months for the rest of her life.

“He was so strong for me, and I want to be strong for him,” she adds to People.

bush folks

“We miss him terribly, but we’d rather lose him from home for a little while than lose him forever,” dad Billy says.

“We just want him to do what he needs to do to get better.”

Amen.

We send Matt our very best wishes.

Alaskan Bush People airs Sunday at 9/8c on Discovery.

Alaskan Bush People: Gabe Brown Fears the Worst After Matt Is Injured

Last week on Alaskan Bush People, Gabe Brown risked life and limb working construction on the Brown family"s new homestead.

On the latest episode, however, it"s not Gabe who"s putting himself at risk. His older brother Matt Brown gets injured.

It"s a major setback for the Browns, as they explain in this video. How much will this delay construction?

Gabe brown speaks on alaskan bush people

On Sunday night"s new Alaskan Bush People episode, Matt Brown jumps down from too high and ends up injuring his knee.

His siblings are concerned about his well being, but as Gabe explains to the camera, they are also concerned about delaying their construction project.

"These are major setbacks," Gabe laments to the camera.

He shares his fear that: "It"s gonna keep us from building the barn."

"It"s pretty much worst case scenario," Gabe worries. Matt may be able to walk, but not like he could before he twisted his knee.

Rain Brown is only 15 (though she often acts as the family"s de facto spokesperson on social media, she will not turn 16 until November 23, 2018).

Despite that, she is so often the voice of reason — and even maturity. Even when she is speaking to Bam Bam, who is 34 entire years old.

"I"m just going to be blunt with you," Rain says. "I think you could help more."

Bam, we learn, has been showing up late and bristles in the face of being given instructions. Again, this is a grown man who was born in 1984.

"It"s really important for everyone to get involved with this," Rain emphasizes. "Teamwork is important."

Rain brown works hard

Though he had been messing around in the face of Matt"s instructions, Rain"s words do get through to Bam Bam.

"I"m just me all the time," Bam admits.

You know what? He sure is.

He then asks Rain to "just tell me," when he"s not being as helpful as he should. "So maybe I can fix it."

That sounds like it should be his responsibility rather than Rain"s, but okay.

Rain needs more from Bam Bam than showing up on time and working as a team.

She admits that what he really brings to the group is a concern with safety. Matt and Gabe, in contrast, are daredevils who take risks like they have something to prove.

"I think we actually need your help a lot more than we let on," Rain tells Bam.

She appreciates him agreeing to work on his behavior, and says: "I think that this is a good first step."

"We still need to get that working on a team level going," Rain says.

Alaskan bush people family photo

It sounds like Matt — and, honestly, Gabe — need to reign in their impulses, while Bam Bam needs to be more helpful.

To be fair, they"re all there to film the show. As we know, the Brown family have accumulated their share of wealth over what are now 8 seasons of reality televisions.

They"re not squatting on land in the wilderness — they"re on Billy Brown"s 435 property in rural Washington.

Bam isn"t there because he"s a construction expert. He"s there because he"s a reality star and appearing on camera means that he gets paid.

Still, that injury looks like the real deal. Maybe Matt should wisen up and realize that he"s not as young as he once was. They all need to be careful.

Alaskan Bush People Sneak Peek: Gabe Brown Risks Life and Limb!

Alaskan Bush People has been destroying Keeping Up With The Kardashians" ratings, and it looks like this new episode will be no different.

In this sneak peek, Gabe Brown takes huge risks as the Browns build a new structure on their property, scaring his siblings half to death.

Noah also comes to visit in the new episode, revealing a serious health problem that required surgery.

Alaskan bush people family photo

In the video that we"ve included, viewers can see Gabe standing on a piece of construction equipment and wielding a chainsaw.

"The next step is now Gabe just needs to cut off the top of the poles," Bird Brown explains.

"He’s just going to stand in the bucket of the skid-steer," Bird describes.

She reveals who will be operating this dangerous equipment, adding: "and Rain’s going to raise him up."

It"s always reassuring to see a 15-year-old operating heavy machinery.

Alaskan bush people construction gif 01

"I’m not normally serious," Bird acknowledges. "But right now it is super serious,”

“It is actually pretty dangerous," Bird admits.

"It’s actually the most dangerous things we’ve done on the job."

Bam Bam Brown adds: "That does not look incredibly safe."

His opinion is pretty clear. As you can see in the clip, he"s standing a considerable distance away from the action.

Alaskan bush people construction gif 02

In addition to Gabe risking life and limb (and his baby sister"s mental health for the next half-century) to shorten some stilts, this weekend"s episode promises another development.

In August, Noah Brown married Rhain Alisha in a small, moving wedding ceremony.

On this weekend"s episode, Noah "returns to the pack," as they say, visiting the new family homestead in rural Washington to see his parents.

His presence is reassuring to his father, Billy Brown, who is happy to see him.

His arrival is also a tremendous comfort to Ami, who states that she feels more secure with all of her children around her.

Gabe brown defies death

Noah also makes a startling confession about his health.

During his time away from his family, his body began to become inexplicably bloated.

As it turns out, as is usually the case with a sudden change in body size, there is a medical explanation.

In Noah"s case, it was his gall bladder.

He had to have his abnormally large gall bladder removed, and his torso still bears the stretch mark from the sudden gain in weight that his endocrine system foisted upon him.

Alaskan bush people construction gif 03

We"re sure that some parts of this coming episode of Alaskan Bush People is just theatrics for the camera. That goes with the territory on any reality show.

We have no doubts that Noah"s family knew about his gall bladder being removed before he told them on camera and showed off his scar.

And we also know for a fact that Billy Brown"s new 435 property could gain a new structure without the children risking it all to build it.

But they"re doing this personally, on camera, so that they can keep raking in that reality TV money.

And since Alaskan Bush People is creaming Keeping Up With The Kardashians, this hard work and drama is a sound investment in their family"s future.

Billy Brown Explains Why Alaskan Bush People Can Never Return to Alaska

Last week, Ami Brown was honored on a birthday that many had feared she would never live to see.

Alaskan Bush People is back (and trampling Keeping Up With The Kardashians in the ratings), and the Brown family is reflecting on how grateful they are.

Billy Brown shares that the decision to move the family to Washington was difficult — but there was never really another option.

In an interview with Monsters and Critics, Billy Brown says that the decision to move to Washington came after they realized that there was no real alternative.

“We didn’t really have much choice in how we decided,” Billy admits.

Alaska, he says, was a non-starter. “The doctors were quite emphatic that we couldn’t go back there.”

“it was just too hard to get her to…to set up something she would need if something happened.” Billy explains.

Billy adds: “and we also have to go in every three months now to get CAT scans and CT scans.”

The Brown family has made a lot of money with their show, but not enough to build a private hospital in the wilderness. Moving to Washington was a practical choice.

“I guess it was just time, you know, the Good Lord, it was just time…” Billy says. “You wouldn’t believe what he gave us.”

“We thought everything was gone,” he says, referring to Ami’s lung cancer. “But you have a little bit of faith…he gave us more than we could ever imagine.”

As you may recall, around this time last year, her odds of survival were placed at around 3%. She’s still alive and well.

“We could not have ordered it in a dream and it have been better than what he had given us,” Billy says. “It’s just a brand new world.”

Billy and Ami weren’t the only Brown family members who had input on the matter.

“The doc was saying how hard it was on Mom and everything,” Bear explains in that same interivew.

“We all figured that it was just time” to move, he reveals, adding “and the best thing to do” was to head to Washington.

Bear explains: “because if we were waiting until Mom was healed up to move back…”

“It seems like one thing that may never happen and she would be constantly waiting,” Bear concludes. That is very honest of him.

Billy says that, even though moving to the “Lower 48” was a big decision, he is fond of the 435 acre property he purchased.

“It really surprised us,” Billy says of their new homestead. “Because it’s wonderful what we’ve got.”

“The people down here,” Billy adds. “It’s a lot like Alaska to be honest with you.”

Rumor has it that some of Billy’s new neighbors are resentful of people they see as entertainment industry “big-shots” turning their town into a reality show set.

“People’s attitudes and all,” Billy says. “Critters that we’ve never heard of.”

During the season premiere, Billy commented on their new home.

“We’ve fought hard,” Billy said at the time. “We deserve to be here.”

“I think this is definitely the biggest adventure we’ve had,” he added.

Thankfully, Washington gave them the right balance of a rural wooded environment while also being a location from which they could take Ami to the hospital when needed.

We have to admit, however, that many fans are still curious about whatever happened to the family’s plans to move to Colorado.

Alaskan Bush People Premiere DESTROYS Kardashian Ratings!

On Sunday, August 19, Alaskan Bush People‘s new season premiered. Fans and viewers got to see the Brown family in Washington for the first time.

Keeping Up With The Kardashians had an episode during the same timeslot. And if Kris got cross on camera, we can only imagine how she feels off camera.

Because Alaskan Bush People‘s ratings absolutely trounced those of KUWTK. They had more than three times as many viewers.

Let’s take a look at Showbuzz Daily‘s Top 150 List and see how ratings went during that August 9 timeslot.

Alaskan Bush People: 3.4 million viewers on Discovery.

90 Day Fiance: 2.2 millon viewers on TLC.

Fear The Walking Dead: 1.9 million viewers on AMC.

Finding Dory: 1.7 million viewers on The Disney Channel.

Keeping Up With The Kardashians did not even bring in 1.1 million for E!

What’s more is that Alaskan Bush People‘s season premiere had nearly double the claim on the coveted 18-49 demographic.

Now, season premiere numbers can give a bit of a bump. That’s normal.

But we’re talking about a difference of more than two million people. That looks like more than a bump, folks.

We’re talking about a family considered to be American royalty getting less than one-third of the market share that the Brown family did.

So, why did viewers tune in?

Well, it wasn’t just to see Bear Brown run through the woods of Washington State.

Viewers are genuinely concerned about Ami Brown’s ongoing cancer battle. They love Ami.

Even though they know that the Brown family spends their off season living large in a Beverly Hills mansion, fans have forged a powerful attachment to the family members.

They want to see how Ami is doing for themselves.

They want to see how the family is adjusting to Washington.

Does this spell doom for the Kardashians?

No, and we don’t mean to suggest that Kris Jenner will see the ratings and start exposing one of her children to carcinogens to attract viewers.

(Insert the obligatory what was really in those doughnuts Kris tried to feed Khloe joke)

First of all, the Kardashian brand is no longer exclusively and inextricably linked to Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

That’s why Kourtney is a millionaire living comfortably and Kylie is on the verge of becoming a billionaire.

Reality television gave the Kardashians a stepping stone that they’ve used to grow their brands and their wealth. It was a means to an end.

We don’t think that this new ratings dynamic means that viewers want totally different things.

If networks respond to this by churning out show after show of families living in unspeakably remote wilderness while one of them battles a terminal illness, it would be a mistake.

This is probably a symptom of overexposure. Everybody knows who the Kardashians are and what they’re up to.

The big surprises that had everyone interested — things like Tristan’s cheating and Kylie’s pregnancy — are old news.

Right now, the Kardashians are focusing on feuding between Kim and Kourtney. They are grown-ass adult mothers of three each and their feuds aren’t as meme-worthy as they once were.

The Brown family might not be more authentic than the Kardashians, but they’re more relatable and they’re way, way less overexposed.

That, we think, is what’s happening here.

Alaskan Bush People Season 8 Trailer Teases New Adventure

Sunday evening, on August 19, Alaskan Bush People fans will finally get to view the long-awaited Season 8.

We know that the family is now residing in a Washington homestead. We also know that Season 8 will focus on Ami Brown"s cancer.

Now we finally have a teaser trailer for the new season — and it"s teasing a lot.

Billy brown and matt brown in season 8

Within the clip, Billy Brown announces: "It’s a miracle is what it is."

"We’ve gone through a lot of adversity," the family patriarch admits.

He describes how a gloom had set in over the family.

"It was like everything was closing in on us," Billy syas. "Darkness all around and it was over."

"Then," Billy says. "Washington came into view."

That"s a little melodramatic, but it does set the stage.

Ami brown in season 8

The words might be poetic, but the feeling of impending doom was real. Ami Brown"s ongoing cancer battle is serious business, and what forced the family to leave Alaska in the first place.

But now they"ve settled into their new expansive property, and Ami seems invigorated.

"It’s almost like being born again," Ami says. "And starting life a new."

Cancer is now a part of her life. She will need to be carefully screened every few months. Vigilance is the key to survival.

"The good Lord has given me a second chance," Ami says.

Billy brown in season 8

Billy Brown purchased the 435 acre homestead, and he cannot stop gushing about the new digs.

"We have an actual ranch: barns, orchard, horses, cattle," Billy says.

Billy then takes on a more somber tone and says; "It is a test."

"We can’t afford to fail on this," Billy announces.

He cannot emphasize enough the scope of uprooting the family multiple times before settling in Washington.

"This is definitely the biggest adventure we’ve ever done," Billy tells the audience.

Bear brown goes wild

The teaser video is full of other content — including a look at Bear Brown running and also falling in the wilderness.

He has a lot of energy. Too much, perhaps.

Fans already know that he was hospitalized a few months ago after sustaining an injury in the woods — and perhaps viewers will get to see how that went down.

The teaser also shows Rain spending time with her mother, and Birdy firing a gun.

Additionally, we see the shoddy rural roads that appear to give the family a hard time. But hey, after driving in L.A. for months on end, they probably welcome the change.

Alaskan bush people season 8 sneak peek

We"re being teased with Ami"s health and recovery, a family in transition, new woods, a new home, and a new adventure.

There is one thing that we"re not sure if the new season will show at all.

There have been persistent reports and rumors that some of the folks in the little Washington hamlet in which the Brown family has settled are less than thrilled with the family"s presence.

Apparently they don"t like "Hollywood big-shots" in their town. Or the omnipresent cameras. And it may be that they don"t particularly care for the Brown family themselves.

That"s too bad, because Alaskan Bush People has a lot of fans.

August 19 can"t get here soon enough!

Alaskan Bush People Season 8 to Focus on Ami"s Cancer

We have some good news for Alaskan Bush People fans…

… and also some really terrible news for Alaskan Bush People fans.

Unfortunately, the importance of the latter far outweighs the importance of the former.

But we’ll start with a programming update:

The long-awaited eighth season of this Discovery Channel hit will premiere on August 24 at 9/8c. Set your DVR and plan your upcoming vacations accordingly.

The really terrible news, however, has to do with just what these new episodes will focus on.

According to Radar Online, Ami Brown’s cancer has returned — and this tragic circumstance will serve as the crux of what fans will see on screen later this summer and later this fall.

“Ami went to UCLA with Billy and son Bear, and her cancer is back,” an insider has told the aforementioned celebrity gossip site.

Darn it. This sucks.

We reported in late May that Ami checked back into a California hospital in order to have further tests run.

At the time, however, we were still awaiting the results of these tests and had not heard any confirmation about the return of Ami’s illness.

The mother of seven was diagnosed with late-stage lung cancer last year.

Her prognosis at the time was grim, but undergoing numerous rounds of radiation and chemotherapy, the reality star announced she was cancer-free in December 2017.

For some awful reason, fans had taken this remission to mean that Ami never had cancer, an assertion that Discovery Channel Executive Vice President Laurie Goldberg had to actually address a few weeks back.

“Ami’s battle with cancer is very real,” Goldberg said at the time, adding:

“It is just disgusting that anyone would say her cancer is not real or that it was created for the show.”

Seriously. Not even the Kardashians would conjure up a cancer storyline for the sake of ratings.

This latest Radar report makes us feel sad, but also asks that fans remain optimistic.

That’s the approach Ami and her loved ones are trying to take.

“She is still dealing with some residual effects of her diagnosis and treatment, but she is continuing to recover well,” the insider says.

“She has the love and support of her entire family, and is determined to beat this.”

This same source concludes that the new season of Alaskan Bush People will tell a significant chunk of Ami’s story.

Not for the sake of ratings.

But simply because this show chronicles the lives of the Browns and this diagnosis is obviously the most important thing going on in those lives right now.

“It’s going to be a huge part of the upcoming season, and there will be interviews with her doctors and other medical professionals who have helped her along the way,” the source says.

Alaskan Bush People is currently filming for the new season in Washington state, far from the family’s native Alaska.

Expect plenty of changes to be afoot, except for one key one: the entire family will be involved.

Alaskan Bush People: Billy Brown Buys 435 Acres, Angers Locals

Despite Ami Brown’s emergency hospitalization, it looks like the Brown family is still making plans for the future.

Specifically, Billy Brown has paid cash for a sizable plot of land. It may be the site of the family’s next mansion … and of the next Browntown.

Some fans — and a lot of the locals — aren’t too thrilled about this major purchase.

RadarOnline reports that Billy Brown paid $ 415,000 for land in Washington State.

They were able to confirm with the Okanogan County tax assessor that the 64-year-old reality star purchased approximately 435 acres across four parcels of land.

He obtained this land from Wilbur and Teresa Hallnuer in February.

According to the tax insider who dished to RadarOnline, there are no homes on that land … at the moment.

“Billy Brown bought four separate large properties near where the family is currently filming at the Lodge on Palmer Lake.”

The tax insider breaks down the purchases.

“One property is 65 acres. One is 190 acres. One is 40 acres and the last one is 140 acres. The total land mass bought by Mr. Brown is roughly 435 acres.”

Based upon those numbers, yes, RadarOnline‘s math adds up. It never hurts to double-check.

“And yes, he paid cash.”

Then, the tax insider says something new and vaguely ominous.

“The residents of Okanogan County are well aware of who Mr. Brown is and what his intentions are.”

If you’re wondering what the ever-loving f–k that’s supposed to mean, you’re not alone. But that source decided to clam up.

“I’m sorry but that is all that I can say.”

The good folks over at Inquisitr suggest that, based upon that massive land-grab, it’s likely that Billy Brown has bought the land on which he’ll eventually build a mega-mansion for his family.

And they point out that it seems very likely that some part of that extensive spread of land will be the family’s new homestead — their new Browntown.

Some fans are frustrated with what they perceive

Alaskan Bush People is a show about people roughing it and surviving outside of society.

In real life, the Brown family are millionaires who just bought up almost enough land area as there is in all of Monaco.

And, not for nothing, but fans are very aware that Alaskan Bush People is no longer being filmed in Alaska.

Recently, a fan very politely asked a question of Rain Brown, the family’s 15-year-old daughter and their unofficial spokesperson.

“Rain can u share with me why u guys can’t go back to Alaska? Once u leave does that mean the land is no longer yours?”

The land in Alaska was leased by Discovery. The family had to move to the “lower 48” in order for Ami to battle cancer.

Some fans have been much less polite — even when writing to a young girl — and perceive the Brown family as frauds who have pulled the wool over the eyes of viewers.

To them, the fact that the Browns are possibly planning to build a mega-mansion in Washington, while presumably building a new “Browntown” that is little more than a set for their reality series, is the final straw.

It’s unfair, of course — the Browns are reality stars. It goes with the territory. But there’s no reasoning with some people.

Fans aren’t the only ones who are angry, though.

As we’ve mentioned before, the locals where the Browns are filming have not taken kindly to the presence of a reality TV crew and a family of television stars who, some feel, have just about taken over their tiny town.

That, we suspect, is what the county tax insider meant by the people knowing precisely who the Browns are and what they are up to.

We don’t know what the family’s Beverly Hills neighbors thought of them, but in the small town of Omak, they’re seen as unwelcome, urban outsiders.

Probably not universally — but some of the locals have voiced their displeasure with their town becoming a backdrop for a TV series.

Alaskan Bush People: Is Gabe Brown Having a Breakdown?

The Brown family is out of L.A. and reportedly filming Alaskan Bush People again … in Washington State.

But some fans of the show are worried about Gabe Brown, and see his recent behavior on social media as erratic — at best.

Is Gabe having a breakdown?

Recently, Gabe took to social media to defend his younger sister, Rain, against some now-deleted unkind comments.

Gabe wrote:

“God sees your face and knows your name how do you think you make him feel??”

That sure sounds … ominous. Until Gabe softens his words with the next line.

“He loves you and so do I I wish with everything I have actually.”

Again, Gabe starts to sound menacing without making any direct threats.

“We have had many wonderful friends in law enforcement God bless them for all they do to make life a safer place.”

This time, however, he takes things up a notch.

“I wish they were here on IG you wouldn’t have said half of the hateful illegal things.”

These words had some fans worried that Gabe is in a bad place, emotionally. Angry outbursts on social media can be a bad sign.

For contrast, look at the sorts of words that Gabe usually likes to share on social media.

Like when he celebrates International Women’s Day.

“Mister Cupcake and I wanted to wish everyone a wonderful national womens’ day it’s nice to take a moment out of our year to appreciate all the amazing women in our lives and throughout history which today I’m calling herstory have a great night everyone and God bless us all.”

Sometimes, he just gives positive shout-outs for his followers.

“Late night make me happy that feeling that everyone you love is fast asleep and safe waiting in the tomorrow for you to catch up it’s like the time inbetween and it’s all mine that’s how it seems anyway good night instafriends.”

His warm messages are a far cry from his heated messages to people who troll his sister.

“God bless us all and remember to make every tomorrow better love you all.”

It was only recently that Gabe Brown broke his social media silence with a triumphant return to Instagram.

And he didn’t return a moment too soon.

Rain, in her role as the Brown family’s unofficial spokesperson though she’s barely 15, had warned of an imposter pretending to be Gabe Brown online.

At the time, Rain had explained that Gabe wasn’t on social media at all because he was not having a good time or in a good place, emotionally. She’d warned fans that anyone pretending to be him was just catfishing them.

Unfortunately, not all fans got the memo.

Because when Rain showed off her “third wheel” status as Gabe made out behind her, fans accused Gabe of cheating.

Specifically, a number of commenters were shocked and revealed that they had been flirted with or seduced by “Gabe.”

Even after Rain’s warning and the situation being explained to them by other commenters, some remained steadfast in their belief that it had been Gabe Brown himself who wooed them over social media.

Others who had acknowledged that they were catfished still found the photo hurtful, because they believed that it was insensitive to them since their feelings had been played with.

Between all of that, existing issues, his mother’s recent recovery from cancer, and his family moving multiple times within the space of a few months, it’s understandable that Gabe Brown might be struggling.

But … is his behavior really erratic?

That’s hard to say. Sometimes, his posts aren’t as coherent as they could be … but plenty of people struggle to know what to say and how to say it on social media.

But it looks like he was just standing up for his little sister, Rain, who is only 15 and absolutely should not get the kind of hate that she does.

(Seriously, we cannot stress enough that she is a young teenager who is doing fans a huge favor by updating them on her life and her family at all, and should not receive hate or trolling for any reason)

Who wouldn’t go above and beyond to defend their younger sister from vicious trolls who should know better?

Gabe didn’t actually make any threats, he just … implied that he could potentially make a threat if he wanted to, but chose the high road.
