Aziz Ansari Responds to Sexual Assault Allegations

Aziz Ansari has issued a statement in response to some pretty damning allegations.

Over the weekend, a photographer went public with details of date gone horribly wrong she says took place between her and Ansari in September.

The woman, who goes by the name “Grace” in her account to Babe.net, says she me the actor at a post-Emmys party last fall.

After exchanging phone numbers, she and the Master of None star went out one night before ending up back at Ansari’s apartment.

It was then, the woman alleges, that Ansari became sexually aggressive.

She says he immediately went to get a condom, not long after the two started kissing, and that she continually placed her hand on his penis.

“He probably moved my hand to his dick five to seven times,” she told the aforementioned website. “He really kept doing it after I moved it away.”

Grace explained that Aziz briefly performed oral sex on her and vice versa, but that she also made it clear she didn’t want anything to progress further.

In her recounting of the incident, Grace emphasizes that Ansari ignored her “verbal and non verbal cues.”

After finally stopping their hook-up and collecting her emotions in the bathroom, Grace says she hoped to finish the night on a happy note.

But even after acknowledging that he didn’t want to pursue sex if Grace wasn’t also having “fun,” Ansari pressured her again into going down on him and into making out a lot more.

“It took a really long time for me to validate this as sexual assault,” she told Babe, adding:

“I was debating if this was an awkward sexual experience or sexual assault.

“And that’s why I confronted so many of my friends and listened to what they had to say, because I wanted validation that it was actually bad.”

After their encounter, Grace sent Ansari a text that detailed how he made her feel, saying in part:

“You kept going with advances. You had to have noticed I was uncomfortable.”

The actor responded with contrition.

Grace shared both of these messages with Babe.net. First, a look at hers:

Now, a look at what Ansari said in reply:

The alleged victim concluded that this was the “worst experience” she ever had with a man and that it made her sick to see Ansari with a Time’s Up pin at the Golden Globes, claiming to support the #MeToo movement.

A few hours after she made these claims, Ansari responded with a statement through his publicist.

It reads as follows:

In September of last year, I met a woman at a party. We exchanged numbers.

We texted back and forth and eventually went on a date. We went out to dinner, and afterwards we ended up engaging in sexual activity, which by all indications was completely consensual.

The next day, I got a text from her saying that although ‘it may have seemed okay,’ upon further reflection, she felt uncomfortable.

It was true that everything did seem okay to me, so when I heard that it was not the case for her, I was surprised and concerned.

I took her words to heart and responded privately after taking the time to process what she had said.

I continue to support the movement that is happening in our culture. It is necessary and long overdue.

We’ll continue to update this story as more news breaks.

Do you think Ansari deserves to be included among the accused men of Hollywood for his actions in this case?

Aziz Ansari Accused of Sexual Misconduct, Assault

Aziz Ansari is the latest big name to be accused of sexual misconduct.

In the case of the former Parks and Recreation star, and current creator of Netflix’s Master of None, an unnamed photographer has come out and accused Ansari of going way too far on a date last year.

According to a series of text messages between Ansari and this alleged victim, the incident occurred in September.

The woman, who is referred to a “Grace” in her account to Babe.net, says she and Ansari bonded at an after-Emmy Awards party due to their shared passion for photography.

They later went out and ended up back at his apartment.

Grace says she felt “uncomfortable” with how quickly Ansari undressed himself and then her.

Within moments of their first kiss, Grace says Ansari went to get a condom.

“I said something like, ‘Whoa, let’s relax for a sec, let’s chill,"” recounts Grace, adding that the actor then briefly performed oral sex on her before asking her to do the same to him.

“It was really quick. Everything was pretty much touched and done within ten minutes of hooking up, except for actual sex,” Grace now details.

Ansari would frequently place his fingers in Grace’s mouth and then try to “finger” her vagina, she says, emphasizing that he also forced her hand onto his penis.

Often.

“He probably moved my hand to his dick five to seven times,” she says. “He really kept doing it after I moved it away.”

Grace describes the troubling encounter as seeming like a “game” to Ansari, who she alleges kept following her around his apartment.

She says she gave him repeated “verbal and non-verbal” clues that she was NOT interested in going any further.

She eventually excused herself to go into the bathroom and collect herself.

After relaying her discomfort to Ansari, she thought the possibility of sex was finally no longer an issue in his mind and she stuck around for a little while longer.

But after the star again motioned for her to give him a blow job and made out with her once more, she left the residence in tears.

“I cried the whole ride home. At that point I felt violated,” says Grace.

The following day, Grace texted Ansari.

“Last night might have been fun for you it wasn’t for me,” she said in a message that she saved and has now made public.

“When we got back to your place, you ignored clear, non-verbal cues; you kept going with advances. You had to have noticed I was uncomfortable,” she continued.

Ansari then replied and did apologize for his actions.

The woman says she decided to come forward after she saw Ansari wearing a Time’s Up pin at the Golden Globes, supporting the foundation that has been set up to support victims of sexual assault.

Ansari won Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy TV Series for his lead role on Master of None at the event.

Grace says her friends helped her grapple with the aftermath of her evening with Ansari.

“It took a really long time for me to validate this as sexual assault,” she told Babe.

“I was debating if this was an awkward sexual experience or sexual assault. And that’s why I confronted so many of my friends and listened to what they had to say, because I wanted validation that it was actually bad.”

Concludes Grace:

“I believe that I was taken advantage of by Aziz.”

“I was not listened to and ignored. It was by far the worst experience with a man I’ve ever had.”

Chris Brown to Aziz Ansari: Get Off My D-ck, Aladdin!

Chris Brown is as predictable as he is violent and ill-tempered.

Over the weekend, Aziz Ansari hosted Saturday Night Live for the first time, delivering a monologue that played out like a stand-up comedy routine.

The most memorable line from a lauded segment featured Ansari trying to understand the large segment of the population that voted for Donald Trump in the recent Presidential election, dismissing claims that every one of these people is a racist.

Come on now, the former Parks and Recreation star argued, there aren’t 63 million racists in America.

“I’m sure there’s a lot of people that voted for Trump the same way a lot of people listen to the music of Chris Brown,” Ansari said, only half-joking and explaining in more detail:

“It’s like, ‘Hey, man! I’m just here for the tunes. … I don’t know about that other stuff. I just like the dancing and the music. I don’t condone the extracurriculars.”

Those extracurriculars to which Ansari is referring, of course, are centered around the time Brown bludgeoned the face of Rihanna into a bloody mess.

The singer has proven himself to be two things over the years:

  1. Very talented.

  2. Full of anger and fury.

There are some fans out there who focus on the former and ignore the latter when they listen to his music.

Similarly, there are voters out there who are able to look past Trump’s racist, misogynistic and hateful comments because they believe he’ll help them find a job.

“If you think about it, Donald Trump is basically the Chris Brown of politics,” Ansari concluded. “And ‘Make America Great Again’ is his ‘These hoes ain’t loyal."”

That’s just a terrific line.

But Brown doesn’t agree.

Showing a hilarious lack of self-control and self-awareness, the artist responded to Ansari saying he has a tendency to be hate-filled and out of line…

… by being hate-filled and out of line.

“I can’t f–king catch a break,” Brown ranted in a since-deleted video adding:

“This n—a said, ‘Donald Trump is the Chris Brown of politics.’ I swear I’m gettin’ the f-ck outta here. Don’t f-ckin’ trust what you see. Even salt look like sugar.”

Brown didn’t stop there, however. That wasn’t enough for him.

He had to go ahead and lay the racism on nice and thick.

Sharing The Shade Room’s Instagram video of Ansari’s comments, Brown jumped back online and wrote as a caption to the footage:

“F–K NO!!!!!! Somebody tell ALADDIN HOP OFF MY DICK!”

Yes, Aladdia. Get it?!? Because Ansari’s family is from Tamil Nadu, India.

We’d say this insensitive slam marks a foray into a whole new world of being terrible for Chris Brown, but we all know it’s where he resides on a daily basis.

Brown aside, Ansari has been widely praised for his SNL monologue.

It managed to be funny and serious, over-the-top and insightful, hopeful and critical.

He delivered it a day after Trump was sworn into office and on the same day as millions of women marched against the new President all across the globe.

It addressed those who are against Trump, those who voted for Trump for non-racist reasons and those who voted for Trump and who now think they can totally go out and be publicly racist.

He referred to this latter group as the “kkk,” and it actually made a lot of (sad) sense!

Aziz Ansari: Donald Trump is Just Like Chris Brown!

Saturday Night Live kicked off its latest episode by featuring Vladimir Putin celebrating the inauguration of Donald Trump as President of the United States.

It actually wasn"t that funny of a cold open.

But things changed for the much better once Aziz Ansari took the stage for his hosting monologue.

A day after Trump was sworn in as President, Ansari acknowledged his the new Commander-in-Chief is obsessed with SNL, joking how it"s "pretty cool to know he"s probably at home right now watching a brown guy make fun of him."

But while Ansari clearly has many issues with Trump, he warned viewers to be "careful," saying: "We can"t demonize everyone who voted for Trump."

He then compared Trump to a celebrity with a violent temper and a history of abuse against women.

"I"m sure there are a lot of people who voted for Trump the same way a lot of people listen to the music of Chris Brown, where it"s like, "Hey, man, I"m just here for the tunes,"" not the "extracurriculars," Ansari said, later adding:

"We"re divided, it"s okay.

"We"ve always been divided by some of these big political issues. It"s fine. As long as we treat each other with respect and remember that ultimately we"re all Americans, we"ll be fine."

From here, Ansari launched into an attack against members of the "kkk," begging them to go back to pretending that they aren"t actually racist.

It was both a humorous and insightful take on the state of the nation.
