Ami Brown: Honored by Children on a Birthday They Feared She"d Never See

Considering how serious Ami Brown"s cancer battle was at times, there were many who feared that the Alaskan Bush People matriarch would not see this year"s birthday.

But August 28 has come and gone, and Ami is now 55 yeras old.

Rain and Bear joined forces on Instagram to give their mother a series of birthday tributes, as you can see in the video below.

On Rain"s Instagram, she and her brother, Bear, give Ami a shout-out on this very special birthday.

"Just want to say happy birthday to mom," Bear says while arm-in-arm with Rain.

"Seriously," Bear says. "It’s awesome to still have our mother around, quite frankly."

Rain chimes in, saying: "Amazing."

Rain then says "Happy birthday, mom!" and Bear echoes the sentiment.

That"s all very sweet, but Rain also wrote up a message of her own.

"Dear mommy," Rain writes. "Happy birthday to the greatest woman I know!!!"

We know that Rain is going to turn 16 in a few months, but ti"s sweet that she still calls her mother "mommy."

"You inspire me beyond compare," Rain continues. "If I turn out to be anything like you my life would have purpose."

"You listen to me even when I’m having an anxiety attack over the dumbest things," Rain says. "You comfort me just by being in the room."

We should note that Rain has spoken about her mental health before, and also that anxiety attacks are like allergies — it seeming "dumb" doesn"t make it so.

"You mean absolutely the world to me," Rain"s sweet birthday tribute message to her mom continues. "And I would be lost without you."

Rain writes: "it’s been an amazing honor to not only know a legend such as you but to call her mommy."

"I can’t wait until we’re both super old ladies together," Rain imagines. "Sipping tea with the grandkids."

"Happy birthday mommy," Rain concludes. "I love you more than the world."

Rain isn"t the only one who wanted to put her affection for her mom in writing.

In addition to the video that we"ve included, Bear also wrote his own message.

"Today was my Moms birthday!!" he writes with his characteristic lack of chill. "I have no words to describe how I feel to still have my Mom!"

A lot of people use exclamation marks on social media to show that they are being friendly in tone. Bear just seems enthusiastic.

"She’s always been there for me! My whole life!" Bear writes. "And I’ve been trying my hardest to be there for her!"

"Thank you everybody!!" Bear says in a shout-out to fans. "All the fans and family’s!! All the production crews we’ve worked with!! Everybody at discovery!"

"Life is too short not to enjoy every moment!!" Bear writes.

That is a very on-brand sentiment for him.

But Bear makes sure to remind people that Ami"s birthday is, of course, all about Ami.

"Happy birthday to the strongest and best mother ever!!!"

Bear concludes: "I will never give up and I will never surrender!!"

Avicii Loved Ones Feared He Would Kill Himself, Rushed to Prevent Suicide

According to a recent report, Avicii talked to his loved ones just hours before he took his own life two weeks ago.

Based on this conversation and the DJ’s behavior/mindset/attitude during it, Avicii’s feared the worst.

They feared that Avicii would take his own life.

“The family was aware that Tim felt bad. It went up and down, but when he was in Oman, it became worse,” a source close to the family told the Swedish website Stoppa Pressarna.

This insider added:

“When they talked to Tim on the phone they became worried. The family realized that it was really bad and that one had to act.”

This article goes on to say that one family member immediately hopped on on a flight to the Middle East, but it was too late:

When the family member (believed to be Avicii’s brother) arrived in the city of Muscat, Avicii had already committed suicide.

As previously detailed, the beloved musician killed himself at the young age of 28, following years of admitted substance abuse and anxiety.

In 2016, Avicii took a hiatus from touring due to health issues (he was previously diagnosed with pancreatitis), both mental and physical.

He confessed to partying too much and feeling ongoing pressure to be a global success.

Earlier this week, TMZ quoted an insider who said the Swedish DJ used a shard of glass to fatally wound himself.

It’s unclear whether he cut himself on the wrist or on the neck, but it’s become evident that Avicii struggled tremendously with his place in the world.

“Our beloved Tim was a seeker, a fragile artistic soul searching for answers to existential questions,” read a recent family statement, shedding some light on what transpired with their relative.

This statement continued:

“When he stopped touring, he wanted to find a balance in life to be happy and be able to do what he loved most – music.

“He really struggled with thoughts about Meaning, Life, Happiness. He could not go on any longer. He wanted to find peace.”

Based on those final two sentences, it was assumed by most fans that Avicii did, indeed, kill himself.

And now that has been confirmed.

But this was the first we heard of the phone call between the late DJ and his family members.

It’s heartbreaking, isn’t it?

The hitmaker bled to death while on vacation on the aforementioned Arabian peninsula on Friday, April 20.

“It’s terrible for the family, an unusual sense of powerlessness and frustration that Tim left them in such young years,” the source told the website cited above, concluding:

“It’s a big tragedy. He was really a great guy.”

This really does seem to be the case.

In the wake of this suicide, those in entertainment took to social media to express their thoughts and their condolences.

Tristan Thompson Feared He Got His Side Piece Pregnant

Tristan Thompson cheated on Khloe Kardashian while she was pregnant.

This is really all you need to know in order to think the professional basketball player is a giant jerk face.

But new details have emerged regarding Thompson’s behavior over the past few months that will make you think he’s a HUGE giant jerk face.

As everyone with an Internet connection knows by now, Thompson almost definitely slept with multiple over throughout his girlfriend’s pregnancy.

Earlier this month, TMZ shared footage of Thompson walking into a New York City hotel very early on a Sunday morning with a woman he had been partying with earlier that night.

Elsewhere, The Daily Mail shared snippets of a surveillance video that depicted Thompson making out with one woman while being groped by another.

Tristan has not come out and denied reports of his infidelity are inaccurate.

Now, meanwhile, In Touch Weekly has run a cover story that highlights just how devious and irresponsible Thompson acted while he was out railing various side pieces.

One in particular.

The tabloid claims that Thompson hit on an unnamed woman last November in New York, when Khloe was four months along.

The woman apparently was aware Thompson and Kardashian were an item, although In Touch writes that Thompson never mentioned anything about his relationship or the impending baby.

Tristan allegedly brought his companion back to the Four Seasons Hotel in an SUV.

He exited the vehicle first and had her circle the block a few times before coming up to his room… where they proceeded to have unprotected sex.

Yes, according to this article, Thompson did not use a condom while violating Khloe’s trust and entering this woman’s vagina.

“She slept with him because he’s an NBA star, but she thinks he’s hot, too,” an insider says of this mistress, adding:

“She said that the sex was good.” 

The woman reportedly stayed the night with Thompson and even filmed a video of him in bed, which In Touch says it has obtained.

“He was definitely not careful at all about making sure that nobody knew who she was or that she didn’t have her phone,” the source tells the magazine.

He or she also says Thompson had two cellphones on his nightstand, presumably one he used a majority of the time and one he used just to set up hook-ups.

“It’s so sketchy,” says the source.

The morning after he banged this woman, Thompson supposedly texted her and asked if she had used “Plan B,” which is a pill a woman can take the day after sex to prevent pregnancy.

Three months passed before they hooked up again.

In Touch says Thompson texted the woman and invited her to see his team play in another city in February.

“He paid for her flight,” says the insider. “And she slept over again.”

Pretty darn shady all around, right?

No wonder Khloe is thinking of taking her daughter and leaving Thompson for good.

Can you possibly blame her?!?

Tarek and Christina El Moussa: SEPARATED After Insane Gun Incident and Feared Suicide Attempt!

According to TMZ, the couple is currently separated following a terrifying incident involving guns and a feared suicide attempt in May.

Yes, really. And some of the details are even crazier.

Their ordeal started, at least publicly, at the couple’s home when deputies responded to “a call of a possibly suicidal male with a gun.”

That would be Tarek, and they had reason to worry.

Law enforcement sources say that it wasn’t just a routine police visit – a massive group descended upon their Orange County property.

We’re talking 11 deputies and a helicopter.

Witnesses told police that just before officials arrived, Tarek grabbed a gun from his safe, ran out the back door and fled down a hiking trail.

Shortly after that, Christina was seen running out of the house, crying and trembling for unknown reasons, but clearly shaken up badly.

Minutes later, the police helicopter spotted Tarek on the trail (in Orange County, Calif.) and deputies ordered him to drop his weapon.

Tarek immediately complied with the request.

He told deputes he had no intention of hurting himself, and had only left the residence to go “blow off some steam,” according to TMZ.

Why bring a gun with him, though?

Tarek told cops that being armed was a precaution in case a mountain lion or rattlesnake came at him in the Southern California hills.

In any event, deputies searched his house and ended up seizing five guns, including an AR-15. It appears all were lawfully registered.

El Moussa was never charged with a crime.

Still, clearly something is amiss on the home front, as Christina and Tarek confirm they are separated while they reevaluate their marriage.

They declined to discuss the incident other than to say it was an “unfortunate misunderstanding” that sent him storming out of the house.

They say they are committed to co-parenting.

“[We] will continue to work through this process civilly and cooperatively, and plan to continue our professional life together,” they said.

Fans who watch Flip or Flip likely know that Tarek, 35, and Christina, 33, are parents to daughter Taylor, 6, and son Brayden, 1.

On their show, the couple – licensed real estate agents – buys, renovates and resells often distressed Southern California real estate.

From the purchase process to renovations, staging and closing, they’ve made a living in a tough business – and won a huge following.

A big part of that can be attributed to their personal appeal; Tarek and Christina’s personal and professional rapport is hard not to appreciate.
