David Bowie: New Music Video Released on What Would Have Been His 70th Birthday
David Bowie died last year on January 10th after battling liver cancer.
And his loss hurt so, so bad.
He"s an absolute legend, he"s always been one of the best of the best — no one can touch him, and no one should even try to.
As his parting gift, he left us one of the best albums of his whole career, Blackstar. And oh, what an album it was …
But now, on the day he would have celebrated his 70th birthday and just a few days ahead of the first anniversary of his death, we have a little surprise gift.
Bowie"s people released a new EP today called No Plan. It"s not exactly brand new — it was available last month with the deluxe edition of the soundtrack to his Broadway musical, Lazarus — but it"s amazing all the same.
And in addition to the EP, we even have a music video for "No Plan."
It"s got possible alien activity, it"s got rocket ships, it"s got weirdness … everything Bowie would have wanted.
It"s also got his beautiful, beautiful voice, which is obviously nothing to shake a stick at.
Check out the music video and the new song in all its spectacular glory below:

American Idol: 5 WGWG Winners Pay to Tribute David Bowie!
Phillip Phillips, Lee DeWyze, David Cook, Kris Allen and Nick Fradiani paid tribute to David Bowie during the American Idol finale.
Why were these five winners chosen to perform together?
They all fall under the “white guy with guitar” – also known as “WGWG” – designation, dudes who look and sound roughly the same and had a stranglehold over the show"s fan base pretty much the whole time.
Idol producer Nigel Lythgoe told The Hollywood Reporter:
“I promise you, if they went out on tour, and each did 20 minutes in their own right and 20 minutes together, this is a sell-out tour, they’re so good together. The WGWG tour.”
They did sound pretty good …

Lady Gaga Pays Honors David Bowie: A Must-Watch!
Lady Gaga once again blew viewers away with her appearance at the 2016 Grammy Awards.
But this time she had an admirable reason for dressing in eccentric garb.
The singer performed a medley of hits in honor of David Bowie, whose passing shocked the music world last month.
Heavy on computer graphics, holography and live video processing, the performed open with a snippet from “Space Oddity,” Gaga’s face melting right in front of us on screen.
The Golden Globe winner then went into "Changes" before moving on to "Ziggy Stardust" and "Suffragette City."
When Gaga reached "Rebel Rebel," she disappeared behind a screen and yielded to a warped projection.
Gaga, who is still earning praise for her Super Bowl national anthem, proceeded to share the stage with dancers for "Fashion" and "Fame," and she also performed "Let"s Dance" with Nile Rodgers over three decades since he helped write it.
The superstar closed the segment with an energetic, fleshed-out arrangement of "Heroes" and earned a very well-deserved standing ovation for her effort.
It was really pretty incredible, befitting of Bowie"s legacy to be sure.
Check out the nine-song set below and join us in both mourning David Bowie will also applauding Lady Gaga.
