Monday night on Teen Mom 2, a rift between two cast members roiled the production, while another star received heartbreaking news.
While they live in different states and film with different crews, the famous fab five are all closely connected and intertwined at this point.
Their celebrity status became evident on Teen Mom 2 Season 9 Episode 6 when the news of Kailyn’s pregnancy was leaked … by Jenelle.
If you watch Teen Mom 2 online, then you probably follow the Teen Mom stars online or in the media, and know Kailyn had her baby.
This was filmed awhile ago, though, before Lowry had even announced that she was expecting … and Jenelle tweeted her congrats.
Why would she leak such personal and huge news?
“I don’t know if she was doing it to be a smart ass,” Kailyn said. “I’m not sure because Jenelle and I haven’t always been on good terms.”
Kailyn eventually shared the baby news on her own terms, and shaded Jenelle, who responded that Javi Marroquin was the true culprit.
According to her, Javi DMed the Star Glam website saying that the pregnancy was real, though he later denied this. Who is the leaker?!
It’s like the White House: Teen Mom 2 Edition.
In any case, the news got out. “How about now I air out all of his f–king dirty laundry,” Kailyn fumed in summation. “F–k both of them!”
Elsewhere in the Land of Jenelle, her eldest child, Jace, came to visit his mom, and from the looks of it, was not having a good time.
Afterward, he told his grandma Barbara Evans that his visit to mom’s was “horrible” and he thinks his new baby sister, Ensley, is “boring.”
Granted, new babies are tough on older siblings, so it’s possible that they caught him on a bad – and completely understandable – day.
Still, Jace told Babs that he isn’t happy Jenelle and David Eason are getting married, and that he doesn’t want to go back there. Yikes …
Parenting struggles continued a bit further inland, in West Virginia, where Leah Messer’s daughter Ali is having trouble with her mobility.
Struggling to get around and complete tasks at school, she and ex-husband Corey Simms met to discuss having an aide help her out.
“It’s a struggle we’re going to have to figure out,” Corey said.
“It’s the hardest thing I’ve ever done in my life.”
Our hearts break for these two; Ali, later on in the episode, was having a hard time catching her breath and Corey took her to the ER.
When a producer asked Leah if Ali’s trouble breathing was a symptom of muscular dystrophy, the reality star shut that down immediately.
“I don’t want to [address it],” she said, rushing out.
The producers were also under fire in South Dakota, where Chelsea Houska got some ducks and chickens, which Aubree just loved.
Too hard, it turns out. “You need to be gentle. You’re not allowed to hold them anymore unless someone is helping you,” Chelsea told her.
Fair enough, right? Sure, but when the producers tried to ask the Housk more about this, she sensed a trap and got her back up.
“We’re not getting into this just so they can make it into something,” she replied (see Chelsea’s complaints about editing recently).
Last but not least, new cast member Briana DeJesus ultimately decided to keep her baby despite considering the adoption route.
One of the big reasons for that is that she deemed it to be “a waste of [her] energy and time” to try to fight ex Luis Miguel about adoption.
Not that everyone was happy about it.
“I’m scared for you,” her mom said.
“You’ve given up so much, and it just pisses me off for you to have to give up more,” she said, though Briana was decidedly more upbeat.
“I’m not going to sit here and have a pity party,” Briana snapped at her mom, despite the fact that she’s been down this hard road.
“I’ve done it once.”
