Madonna to Sean Penn: "I Still Love You"

Could a reconciliation be on the horizon for Madonna and Sean Penn???

According to People, the material girl and the Oscar-winning actor arrived together holding hands at a gala benefiting one of Penn’s favorite charities, the J/P Haitian Relief Organization.

In a heartfelt speech praising Penn’s humanitarian efforts, Madonna offered this heartfelt confession:

“I want to say that, Sean, I love you. From the moment that I laid eyes on you. And I still love you, just the same.” 

This is amazeballs. As we know, the two were married back in 1985, but ended their rocky relationship after just four years.

At the time, reports surfaced that Penn had abused the singer, but Madge went on the record to deny any such incidents just last December.

They’re in their 50s now, and perhaps they’ve both calmed down a bit since their wild child antics of their 20s. We kinda hope so, because this is one relationship we could potentially get behind.

In September, Penn was spotted in the audience at Madge’s Rebel Heart concert in New York, and about a month prior to that, she posted a throwback pic on Instagram of Penn planting a kiss on her cheek.

However, the two are both plagued with separate personal issues at the moment.

Penn has been getting a lot of attention surrounding a controversial interview he conducted with Mexican drug lord El Chapo, and Madonna is ensnared in a custody battle for her son, Rocco.

Perhaps these two can offer each other a little love and support during these difficult times.

Personal dramas aside, their fondness for one another is abundantly clear. But Madonna has just one request of her ex- (and maybe future, wink-wink!) husband:

“I just wish you would stop smoking so many cigarettes.”

Rocco Ritchie Bails on Monster Mom Madonna, Moves in With Guy Ritchie

She may share her name with the Bible’s best-known mom, but Madonna’s parenting skills are being called into question by those who know her best this holiday season.

The singer’s 15-year-old son, Rocco Ritchie, has reportedly chosen to move in with his father, director Guy Ritchie, after complaining of being mistreated his famous mother.

Sources say Rocco felt that Madonna was more interested in him as a “trophy,” than as a son.

“There were horrible, full-blown fights with screaming and crying,” says one insider of Madonna and Rocco’s relationship.

According to TMZ, Rocco accompanied Madonna on her recent European tour, but was a no-show when her private jet was scheduled to leave London for Stockholm.

Insiders say Rocco couldn’t handle the non-stop fighting and traveling that had come to characterize life with his mom.

He’s now living with Ritchie in London, and Madge is reportedly exploring her legal options.

This is far from the first time that the Madonna and Rocco’s difficult relationship has made tabloid headlines.

Earlier this year, Madonna commented on Rocco’s penis in an Instagram post that she later deleted, reportedly upon his request.

Last year, Madonna used the N-word to refer to Rocco, and sources say he complained about his mother’s inappropriate social media posts on that occasion, as well.

Both Madonna and Guy have yet to speak publicly about the situation, but we get the feeling they may soon wind up talking to a judge.

Madonna Delivers Moving Speech About Paris

Madonna put on a concert in Stockholm, Sweden on Saturday night. 

But those in attendance were not merely treated to a bunch of songs by the iconic artist. They also sat and listened to her deliver a heartfelt speech.

Because the Material Girl simply had to say something about the tragic terrorist attacks that took place in Paris on Friday night.

“It’s been very hard for me to get through this show and not forget what happened last night,” Madonna told the crowd. “So I need to take this moment to acknowledge the tragedy. The tragic killings, assassinations, and the senseless ending of precious life that occurred last night in Paris.”

Madonna, of course, spends a lot of her time in Europe.

Not that one has to in order to appreciate the grave, sad, disturbing nature of over 100 innocent people being killed by members of ISIS, of course.

Why did Madonna not just cancel her show in light of the incident? Because she explained that this would have been a form of surrender, a subtle acknowledgement of victory achieved via terror.

The artist also talked about the need for global tolerance in the face of tragedy.

To “change the world,” she said, we need a significant shift in how folks relate to one another, especially when difference make it challenging to achieve mutual understanding.

The way we change the world is not to elect another President, not to kill a hundred more people, the way we change the world is that we change the way we treat one another on a daily basis in the simplest ways. We must start treating every human being with dignity and respect.

This is the only thing that will change the world.

“Well, first of all, I had no idea I was going back on stage and I’m, like, drinking and sweating and her show’s amazing and they’re like, ‘Go dance with her.’ Then, all of a sudden, there I’m bent over — and if I had a nickel for every time that’s happened — but it was the best night of my life, getting to dance on stage with Madonna!”

AH-Mazing! We love Amy’s impromptu spirit — though we have a feeling that the frisky onstage moment with the Queen of Pop has just been demoted. HA!

Regardless, it’s been quite the summer for the Trainwreck star. Not only did the starlet cement her A-list status with her summer blockbuster, but she also acquired a new BFF in the Oscar winner, Jennifer Lawrence. We couldn’t dream up a better duo!

On her bestie, she noted:

“She’s awesome, she’s the best. We met this summer and just, like, really hit it off, and we started writing a script together and it was going well so we wrote a movie.”

We’re too excited! Unfortunately, the highly anticipated comedy won’t even start shooting until NEXT year. Blerg.

Cherish How This Weatherman Pays Homage to Madonna

Mike Thomas is at it again.

The Fox5 meteorologist in D.C. – who went viral a few months ago for quoting Taylor Swift in his forecast when that singer played a concert in town – went ahead with the same gimmick in honor of Madonna over the weekend.

"Now some boys try and some boys lie but I don’t let them play. I’m gonna nail this forecast today,” he says at the outset of this report. “Don’t just stand there, let’s get to it. Strike a pose there’s nothing to it."

Thomas went on to Vogue a bit (seriously!), while using as many Madonna song titles and lyrics in the course of a few minutes as he could muster. To wit:

“Some parts of the region will be touched for the very first time by rain this month on Saturday, so grab, grab that umbrella as you head down to the concert."

It"s all pretty amazing. Sit back and cherish this forecast now.
