Couple Pops Surprise Proposals to Each Other at the Same Time: WATCH!
This may be the best thing that we"ve ever seen.
How many couples are so in tune that one knows when and where the other will propose?
These two took things one step further — both proposing to each other on the same spot, at the same time, without the other having any idea.
June is Pride Month, and there"s no better time to tell this heartwarming story!
Jessa Gillaspie and Becky McCabe went to the Memphis Zoo & Aquarium over Memorial Day weekend.
Uploading this amazing video that will make you believe in love again, Jessa writes:
"Becky McCabe and I got ENGAGED Friday night at Zoo Brew!!!!!!!"
She then reveals the long and short of it:
"I had no idea she planned to propose, and she had no idea I planned to propose to her!"
The results are truly beautiful.
Jessa continues to explain.
"We were both so surprised!!!!"
That is an understatement. They were visibly overwhelmed with emotion.
"We were surrounded by our friends and had the most amazing night."
We"re sure that they did!
"I am the luckiest girl in the world to be able to call her my fiancee. #TheMcBabes."
This is so precious.
in the video, Jessa and Becky pose for an apparent photo.
While Jessa seems confident and happy, Becky is visibly nervous, because she is about to propose at that exact moment.
When she starts talking to Jessa, Jessa is visibly overcome with emotion.
When Becky drops to one knee, Jessa can barely contain her excitement and also can no longer hold back.
In lieu of a more traditional verbal answer, she pulls out her own ring box.
She had been planning to propose to Becky at that spot during that visit.
After this touching video went viral, Jessa added a postscript.
"UPDATE: We had no idea this would blow up so quickly!"
Very few people expect things to go viral, especially when they"re just sharing a cute video with family and friends.
"But I can’t say I’m not thrilled, because all I’ve ever wanted was for Beck and the world to know how much l love her."
Awww!
"We are overwhelmed with all of the positive responses."
As they should be.
"Really, you guys have no idea how much that means to us!"
There are many places in American society where same-sex couples like Becky and Jessa are still afraid to walk hand in hand or exchange a kiss — things that couples of different genders take for granted.
Anti-LGBT violence continues to be a pernicious threat, especially when it is tacitly endorsed by those in power.
But seeing Becky and Jessa"s beautiful proposal video go viral is a reminder that things aren"t always as terrible as our newsfeeds would make it seem.
And they may just make some people believe in love again.

Kellogg"s Apologizes for Racist Box of Corn Pops
Kellogg"s Corn Pops isn"t considered a healthy cereal because it contains a lot of sugar.
But now the same food item is considered unhealthy by some less for what it contains and more for the message its box sends.
Confused? We understand.
Scroll down and you"ll learn how one man sent a Tweeted that forced the company to realized the way it"s been packaging Corn Pops was just a tad racist…

Lindsay Lohan Pops Out of Dress, Ditches Engagement Ring
After a relatively quiet period during which she all but disappeared from the tabloids, Lindsay Lohan is back and messier than ever.
It all started when Lindsay hinted that she was pregnant during a late night social media rant.
In the same tirade, LiLo accused her fiance, Egor Tarabasov, of cheating on her with a “Russian hooker.”
Shortly thereafter Lohan’s father confirmed that she’s pregnant and the world attempted to wrap its head around the idea of Lindsay freakin’ Lohan as a mother.
The next day photos of Lohan smoking emerged and the reaction online was mostly along the lines of, “Yeah, this is about how we thought this would go.”
Fortunately, it seems that unlike Lindsay, we can all breathe easy.
The latest news out of Europe (where Lindsay’s permanent vacation is still in full swing) is that the 30-year-old actress is not pregnant, and it also seems that she’s no longer engaged.
The pregnancy denial comes from Hofit Golan, who is not, as her name would suggest a Star Wars hero, but rather Lindsay’s bestie of the moment:
“We’ve been doing acupuncture, massage, stretching, drinking lots of green juice, exploring caves, fishing, swimming, just doing normal things,” Golan told Us Weekly.
“Lindsay and I have known each other for years and she’s a very close friend; she’s loyal and an amazing person. It’s unfortunate that other people in her life — I’m not going to name names — are confirming she’s pregnant, which she’s not.”
The tabloid also published a photo in which Lindsay is falling out of her dress and not wearing a wedding ring.
Like we said, interesting times in LiLo Land.
It’s enough to make you wonder what she’s mixing in all that green juice.
