Auntie Fee on Life Support; YouTube Cooking Star Unlikely to Make It
Auntie Fee, a viral sensation whose YouTube videos about cooking on a budget have earned her a dedicated following, is fighting for her life.
According to TMZ, Auntie Fee (real name: Felicia O’Dell) fell very ill over the weekend.
She then suffered a severe heart attack on Tuesday.
Multiple outlets (including TMZ itself and BET) were told by Fee’s nephew and sister that the 59-year-old actually died as a result of this medical emergency.
However, reports now indicate that she’s on life support, surrounded by family members and loved ones at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center after being rushed to the facility by an ambulance.
O’Dell rose to Internet fame in 2014.
She first established herself as an online star by posting her recipes for “good ass chicken” and “sweet treats for the kids,” the latter of which garnered 500,000 page views overnight.
From there, Fee went on to appear in the film Barbershop 3.
A Los Angeles native, Auntie Fee whips up meals from the comfort of her own kitchen, often cursing up a storm throughout each instructional video.
Along with the two videos mentioned above (which have combined for over four and a half million views), Fee has filmed a segment about how to feed seven people on a budget of $ 3.35.
Total.
(How is this possible?!? For the record, this recipe includes instant ramen, leftover taco meat, parsley and cheese as its main ingredients.)
Auntie Fee has also appeared on a multitude of talk shows, including Jimmy Kimmel Live! and Steve Harvey.
She most recently stopped by an episode of MTV’s World Star TV on March 10.
Moreover, celebrities such as Sherri Shepherd have paid a visit to Fee’s kitchen in order to cook meals and meet the unlikely star.
On Tuesday afternoon, one of Auntie Fee’s family members posted to her official Facebook page the following message:
“I NEED ALL OF Felicia Auntie Fee O’Dell PRAYER WARRIORS TO SEND A FEW [prayers] UP FOR HER. (She’s in the hospital).”
Also known as Chef Sista Girl, Fee shared a video on March 6 where she gave an expletive-filled thumbs up review of Art’s Wings and Things in South Los Angeles.
Fans did note at the time that she appeared a little out of breath at the beginning, but soon was back to her motor-mouth self.
We send our thoughts and prayers to Auntie Fee and to her loved ones.

Jinger Duggar & Jeremy Vuolo Take Cooking Class, Just Want to Bone on Counting On
Newlyweds slash hornballs Jinger Duggar and husband Jeremy Vuolo cannot stop being affectionate on this week’s all-new Counting On.
The honeymoon is REALLY heating up … in the kitchen.
This evening’s preview clip shows Duggar and Vuolo, who tied the knot on last week’s episode, enjoying their honeymoon in Australia.
There, the smitten couple partook in a cooking class.
“Being newlyweds … I think we’re both looking forward to cooking together,” the 23-year-old daughter of Jim Bob and Michelle said.
“That’s something that we’ll be doing from here on out.”
Vuolo, a 29-year-old pro soccer player turned pastor, immediately gets reprimanded for not knowing how to flip prawns properly.
He tells the camera, “I am not very experienced at all with cooking seafood, especially on a grill. I don’t think I’ve ever done it.”
Then comes the obvious, awkward sexual innuendo!
When the cooking instructor asks him what he’s most excited about to cook, Vuolo misunderstands the scope of this benign inquiry.
Rather, he thinks the teacher is asking what he’s most looking forward to about marriage, and he responds to that question accordingly:
Being naked with Jinger all the time, basically.
“It’s like, ‘I’ll tell you what I’m excited about most in marriage,"” Vuolo says with a laugh, before realizing she just meant the cooking.
“Oh, right … back down to the food,” he adds.
As for Jinger’s take on the very same question, she said, “Well. Uh, yes. I think all of it.” These two have never been ones for subtlety.
The sexual tension continued thereafter:
Vuolo tells the TLC cameras at one point: “Watching Jinger cook, she’s beautiful, and so it was getting a little hot in the kitchen.”
“I think [the chef] Bec was uncomfortable with a couple of newlyweds in her kitchen, but we were there for a nice romantic time.”
“Must be the crustaceans and the garlic … natural aphrodisiac,” he adds, while Jinger quips, “It’s not like we just got married or anything.”
Wow. Honestly, get a ROOM you two.
It’s been a few months now since Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo got married, which means a pregnancy announcement is overdue.
We kid, of course. Mostly. Not really.
Modern Duggar women are permitted to enjoy married life for a time before starting a family. By a time, we mean like a couple of months.
Jinge and Jer are already speaking publicly about their plans to start a family, so it’s not like they may be holding off even that long.
After the couple’s honeymoon in Australia, the Vuolos have settled down in Laredo, Texas, where Jeremy is the pastor of a church.
“We have just so perfectly adapted, it’s been incredible,” Jinger says, calling her new life outside of Arkansas “the biggest blessing.”
Either she’s not allowed to express negative emotions, or adapting to life outside Duggar compound to be as difficult as she’d imagined.
Bottom line: Expect babies, ASAP.

Brandi Glanville and Dean Sheremet Land New Cooking Show! Together!
While LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian continue to beg for work, their ex-spouses are actually doing quite well for themselves.
Brandi Glanville found life after marriage to Cibrian to be quite lucrative; she’s enjoyed success as a reality star on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, will soon appear on E!‘s upcoming series, Famously Single, has her own podcast, line of wines and book deals.
Meanwhile, Rimes and Cibrian can’t rub two pennies together, BUT AT LEAST THEY HAVE THEIR LOVE TO KEEP THEM WARM.
TMZ reports that Glanville and Sheremet have signed on for My Kitchen Rules, a reality cooking show based on one that has enjoyed success in Australia.
The show will pit teams of two against one another to see who can throw the best dinner event.
Lance Bass, Andrew Dice Clay, Naomi Judd, and siblings Ray J and Brandy have already signed on, according to the site.
Yesterday, Glanville posted a photo to Twitter with Sheremet, more or less confirming that a cooking show is indeed happening.
“Let the games begin 💗 @Deansheremet -Don’t let me to close to the knives,” Glanville tweeted.
Sheremet is a chef and health and fitness coach, having attended the French Culinary Institute.
Last year, Sheremet told blogger Natalie Thomas what it was like meeting Cibrian on the set of Lifetime’s Northern Lights, before he discovered that Rimes and the actor were having an affair.
“He was a good looking guy. I just remember being like, ‘Oh, God, just another one of those Hollywood pretty boys,"” Sheremet recalled.
“If you’re in a room with him, he’s probably one of the most charming people you’ll ever meet. But I wouldn’t trust him as far as I could throw this f—ing table…
“He just felt like one of those guys from the beginning. A total schmoozer. Very Hollywood.
“I never bought his schtick. But I wasn’t worried.”
All’s well that ends well, though. Rimes and Cibrian are jonesin’ for work, while Sheremet and Glanville are making out like bandits.
