Heidi Montag & Spencer Pratt: The Kardashians Stole Our Storyline!

We keep thinking they’ll go away.

More appropriately, we keep praying they’ll go away.

But Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt have found a way to wedge their way into the media again.

The most annoying couple of the 2000s are dishing about their love story in a new article in Broadly, making all kinds of bizarre claims.

For example, Heidi asserts that Keeping Up With the Kardashians stole the plotline she and Spencer created on The Hills.

According to Heidi, Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick based their dysfunctional TV relationship on that of Speidi.

The plastic surgery aficionado says Kourtney herself consulted with her sister Holly for character information.

“She asked, ‘What do Heidi and Spencer do? I need [to know] all the exact things, because we’re doing exactly what they do,"” Heidi told the publication.

However, she also warns that when you’re on a reality show, audiences take your a-hole antics seriously.

“What you don’t realize is that when you fake fight, you make people hate you,” she admitted. “It’s not fun.”

In the case of Scott and Kourtney, it seems the self-professed Lord got the short end of the stick. People hate him, but fans still adore Kourtney.

“To me, it’s entertainment,” says Spencer. “If you grew up in Palisades, you think, This is fun! Whatever. You make up these stories!”

“So I didn’t get that you can get murdered in the press, literally,” he adds, demonstrating a gross misunderstanding of the word “literally.”

We may get to see more of Speidi on TV and in the press in the near future.

Lauren Conrad just confirmed that MTV will be airing a 10th anniversary special of The Hills.

Here we go.

19 Kids and Counting: Return Episode"s Storyline Revealed!

Get ready Duggar fans, it looks like 19 Kids and Counting is coming back to TV!

After the testing the waters with the limited-run Jill & Jessa: Counting On last month, TLC has apparently decided to give the entire Duggar clan another chance at reality stardom.

As we previously reported, a camera crew followed the Duggars on a recent family outing to a lumberyard.

That may not seem like a very big deal on its own, but add to that the fact that the Duggar girls were spotted filming at a thrift store, and it seems pretty clear that the family is preparing for a comeback.

Now, enough pieces have fallen into place that we’re able to reveal a bit about the storyline for their first episode back:

“John David sent over a list of things they needed to build a tree house,” says the owner of the lumberyard where the family was filming.

“He wanted to make sure we have the stuff. We got it all together. Jana was really the one in charge. We asked her if she needed 4* grooves or 8″ grooves and she knew the answer. She was the one giving all the instructions.”

So we know we’ll be seeing the construction of a (probably humongous) tree house, but what will the older Duggar girls be up to?

Well, apparently the network was thrilled with the viewer response to Jana Duggar, and the 26-year-old will be a majot focus of the first episode.

Jana was spotted filming with her sisters at the thrift shop, and production sources say the show will delve into her feelings about still being single while her younger sisters are getting married and starting families.

As Jana is pretty much the most beloved Duggar, that certainly sounds like a formula for success.

Sounds like both the family and the network are eager to leave the past behind them with a successful new series.

Leah Messer: MTV Is Faking My Storyline!

BREAKING NEWS: Reality TV is scripted.

JK, only the story lines.  the teen pregnancies were totally unplanned.

Leah Messer, she who is battling rumor after rumor pertaining to her alleged drug abuse, parenting and overall well-being, claims that Teen Mom producers staged a “fake” scene between Messer’s exes, Jeremy Calvert and Corey Simms.

“When Corey and Jeremy went out to get a drink talking about Leah, the show set it up,” a source revealed to Radar Online. “It was all their doing.”

Oh.

“They push Jeremy to say things like talking about her drug addiction,” the source added.

Well, that’s just rude.

The source also helpfully points out that post-production involves a lot of editing in order to “flip stories around.”  This means that certain things can be taken out of context if the chronological is rearranged.

That sort of editing is the oldest trick the reality book, but pushing Calvert to talk about Messer’s demons is kind of abhorrent.

“Oh, Kelly!” you say.  “Stop being so idealistic.”

You’re right.  On with the show!

Usually, reality stars are instructed not to blatantly state that their storylines are scripted, if only while filming.

However, the big reveal would normally come after the series wraps, and not in between seasons.

Messer was reportedly so fed up with the twists and turns in her storyline that she tweeted about it when the episode aired in September.

“Teen Mom 2 (Season 6) | Ep. 11 | Sneak peek: corey and jeremy team up | Teen Mom 2 | MTV #scripted Jerm knew !! lol [sic]” Messer wrote.
