Cory Wells Dies; Three Dog Night Singer Was 74

Cory Wells – the rock vocalist best known for his work with ’60s and ’70s group Three Dog Night – has passed away at the age of 74.

Sources say Wells “died unexpectedly” at his home in Dunkirk, NY. No cause of death was given.

Wells and Three Dog Night experienced success early on with such hits as “One,” “Mama Told Me Not to Come,” “Joy to the World (Jeremiah Was a Bullfrog)” and “Black and White.”

Wells collaborated with and helped launch the careers of such legendary songwriters as Harry Nilsson and Randy Newman.

“It is with deep sadness and disbelief that I must report the passing of Cory Wells, my beloved band mate for over 45 years,” bandmate Danny Hutton wrote in a press release.

“Cory was an incredible singer – a great performer, he could sing anything. Cory was like a brother in so many ways. We had been together since 1965 and I am in shock at this sudden loss.”‘

After decades of touring and recording Wells was forced to part ways with the band due to chronic back pain in September.

Wells is survived by Mary, his wife of 50 years, his daughters Coryann and Dawn Marie, and five grandchildren.

Bill Murray: Dating 39-Year-Old Singer Jenny Lewis?!

You may know Jenny Lewis as the former child star who went on to become the lead singer for beloved indie-rock outfit Rilo Kiley and release a couple of critically-adored solo albums after the band members went their separate ways.

You almost certainly know Bill Murray as a living comedy legend and the internet’s second favorite thing behind porn. They’re both pretty awesome – but are they awesome as a couple?

Yes, according to Page Six, Murray and Lewis are an item. We imagine she gave him a similar look later in the evening.

Anyway, a source says that Murray calls Jenny his “special friend,” which is Hollywood code for “woman I’m sleeping with who’s more than a couple decades my junior.”

A rep for Lewis declined to comment (always a dead giveaway that some boots-knockin’ is going down), but the songstress reportedly stuck close to Bill’s side throughout a recent premiere party for his new film Rock the Kasbah.

The totally-not-a-couple couple was later spotted together in the lobby of the Huntting Inn in East Hampton.

Yes, life is good when you’re Bill Murray.

Not only can you break the Internet just by dancing to “Turn Down For What,” you also get to sleep with hot redheaded hipsters well into your AARP years.

We might have been selling the man short when we called him a living legend.

Daniel Tosh Recreates Selena Gomez"s "Good For You" Video in Flawless Fashion

If you"re a fan of Comedy Central"s most consistently gut-busting series (sorry, South Park), then you know Daniel Tosh is a master of using his strangely snake-like body to elicit LOLs.

We"ve seen just about every inch of Daniel"s anatomy over the course of Tosh.0"s seven seasons, but somehow he"s taken creepy, Buffalo Bill-style sexuality to a new level in his epic re-creation of Selena Gomez"s "Good For You" music video.

We won"t spoil the surprise guest who fills in for A$ AP Rocky, but we will say the man deserves major props for signing on to such an absurdly hilarious project.

And for that, we thank him.

Lark Voorhies Divorces Sketchy Husband Jimmy Green

Back in April, Lark Voorhies married Jimmy Green in a quickie ceremony at a Vegas chapel.

Almost immediately, information about Green began to emerge that left Voorhies friends and family more than a little concerned.

First we learned that Green was wanted by police for a bizarre, violent incident that had taken place several years prior.

Shortly thereafter, Lark’s mother claimed that Green was a homeless gang member who basically got together with Lark so that he’d have a place to stay.

Now, TMZ is reporting that Lark has finally filed for divorce, but remarkably, it might have been Green’s decision to end the marriage.

Green tells the website that Lark was the one to file because he couldn’t figure out how (?!) so she did it at his request.

He continues to deny that he’s homeless (though he admits to being in a gang) and says the marriage would’ve worked were it not for Lark’s meddling mom.

The important thing is, Lark has removed herself from a volatile and potentially dangerous situation.

As a bonus, it looks as though Green will not be receiving any spousal support. Although sadly, those closest to Lark say her Saved By the Bell money dried up long ago, anyway.
