Groom Ditches Wedding for Paintball; Bride Goes to McDonald"s!

Forget leaving for the honeymoon.  This bride would rather have a burger.

A bride whose new husband decided to play paintball after their ceremony decided to do exactly what she felt like doing: eat at McDonald’s.

Antoinette Sullivan brought her wedding party to the fast food restaurant to enjoy a burger for the post-wedding celebration while her new husband played paintball.

Her husband, Miles, stayed long enough to get hitched.  But when he left to play paintball, Antoinette wasn’t sure what to do.

So she did what all brides do after they’ve been starving themselves to fit in their wedding dresses: she ate a quarter pounder, fries, and mozzarella sticks.

The 28-year-old bride said, “When Miles went off with his mates I thought to myself, well if he can have his fun then I can I have mine”

“We laughed about it but my friends said I should have gone mad but I don’t care, it was a great day and I’d been craving junk food after months of dieting.”

She continued, ”It was the best burger I’d ever eaten and the best way to mark the day. It was perfect and typical of me and Miles.”

Most brides would have lost their sh*t.  But she wanted her new husband to have fun:  “We’re best friends as well as husband and wife and we never stop each other doing what we want to do.”

“He wanted to go paintballing with his mates and I wanted a burger and chips and that’s what we did,” she added.

After they celebrated independently, the couple—who have four kids together—reunited for an evening celebration. Antoinette explained, “I met up with Miles in the evening and we had a great party with our friends.”

Miles claimed that he played paintball after the ceremony because he didn’t have a pre-wedding bachelor party.

”After the ceremony the boys told me they were kidnapping me to go paintballing. I asked Antoinette first of course but she was great about it. We’re like that as a couple. I love her to bits,” he gushed.

“I must have the best wife in the world to let me leave her in her dress and go off on my stag do.”

After the burgers and paintball, the couple left for a honeymoon in Tenby in Wales.  However, they left only one day later because they were bored. They spent the rest of their time at Alton Towers.

The Vampire Diaries Episode Teaser: Dinner with the Devil

As teased in the following promo, Lily will host a dinner party on The Vampire Diaries Season 7 Episode 6.

She"ll attempt to broker peace between the Heretics and her kids, specifically between the resurrected love of her life and Damon and Stefan.

Little does Lily know, however, that Damon and Stefan both have some pretty legitimate reasons to want Julian very much dead… for good this time.

Damon wants revenge for Lily telling Kai to spell Elena, while Stefan wants revenge for what Julian did to Valerie way back in the day.

And what"s that they say about revenge? How is it best served? Cold?

Consider the title of this upcoming installment, "Best Served Cold."

According to the official network synopsis, however, the brothers will clash over the best way to handle (read: kill) Julian, while Bonnie and Matt will uncover an unusual mystery involving some unsuspecting residents.

Also, a crushing revelation will cause Alaric to reach his breaking point. A revelation about Jo, we presume.

So far through The Vampire Diaries Season 7, the Heretics have been a welcome addition to the series, haven"t they?

The group has provided the show with fresh blood (pun intended!) and many new storylines.

Alliances continue to shift, flashbacks continue to shed new light on various characters and few viewers out there are really missing Elena as a result of this interesting shift.

Jessa Duggar: First Baby Photo REVEALED!

Baby Seewald has made his arrival! Jessa (Duggar) Seewald and husband Ben Seewald have released the first image of their (big) bundle of joy.

As we reported last night, Jessa Duggar welcomed her first child last night, a healthy baby boy weighing in at 9 lbs. 11 oz. and 21 ½ inches long.

Jessa, 23, and Ben, 20, have just shared the first photo of the newest Duggar family member via People and theseewaldfamily (dot) com.

So what’s the little fellow’s name? The happy parents, who kept the gender under wraps this entire time, aren’t ready to announce it. Yet.

Jessa previously had fun asking fans whether it would be a boy or girl, and guessing the baby’s weight by taking a poll among relatives.

The new mom predicted she would have “a chubby little baby,” revealing that she was “the biggest out of all my siblings” at 9 lbs., 15oz.

Looks like she was right on the money. Like sister Jill Duggar earlier this year, Jessa passed her due date with a nine-pound-plus son.

It’s been some week for Jessa, who celebrated her first anniversary and due date, as well as her 23rd birthday, and now her son’s birthday!

Her son is the sixth grandchild of Jim Bob Duggar, 50, and Michelle Duggar, 49, after Jill’s son and Josh Duggar‘s four young children.

The birth of Baby Seewald will reportedly be a focal point of Jill & Jessa: Counting On, TLC’s upcoming series featuring the sisters.

Congratulations again to the new parents on the new arrival, a joyous event and a much-needed respite from months of scandals.

We wish them nothing but the best as they welcome this new life into the world – and hope they keep the photos coming ASAP!

Tim Gunn on The Kardashians: Yucky! Gross! Terrible!

Ah, so many opinions about the Kardashians.  And Kanye West.

I find Project Runway star Tim Gunn to be delightful, but sometimes he gets a bit too opinionated and I’m like, “oh gurl.”

Yesterday, Gunn appeared on Huffington Post Live and let verbal gold spill out of his mouth.

While no one will disagree that the Kardashians have one of the best pr strategies in Hollywood, Gunn is not impressed with anything they do.  Anything.

Don’t get him started on West’s collection for Adidas.

“I think they’re a bunch of dumb clothes,” Gunn said about the Yeezus collection.

“Just basic pieces.  He won’t [like that comment], but let me tell you, the whole Kardashian clan doesn’t like me, so no surprise there.”

It gets better.  

Gunn insists that if you’re inspired to wear something because you see it on a Kardashian, don’t.  Just don’t.

“There are large issues [with the Kardashians] for me, such as why? Why?,” Gunn said. “But when it comes to fashion, I say to people all the time ‘If you want guidance in fashion, just consider this: If a Kardashian is wearing it, don’t.’ I think it’s vulgar.

“Given the amount of public exposure that the Kardashians have to potentially be sending the message to people that you, too, can dress like this — no!” 

What about Kendall Jenner, model-of-the-moment?

“I think absolutely nothing [of her] to be perfectly honest,” Gunn admitted. “And I’m assuming there’s a huge, perhaps million dollar-a-month publicity wagon that is pulling these girls along and creating these lives for them. I’m distrustful of it and I find it all distasteful.”

Yes, Tim, BUT SHE’S A MODEL.

“I shouldn’t say that she doesn’t [have ‘it’].”

It = What Derek Zoolander has.

“I don’t know her — she may be a perfectly lovely young woman. I just feel that she’s tainted by the Kardashian aura of yuck!”

Oh hell, Tim Gunn.
