Arrow Season 4 Episode 9 Recap: A Dahrk Christmas

Here is how you know that Arrow Season 4 Episode 9 was a seriously eventful winter finale of this CW smash hit:

Because Oliver and Felicity got engaged… and yet that was scarcely even a significant part of the hour.

Yes, you may go ahead and celebrate, Olicity fans.

But that celebration may be very short-lived. Because Felicity may be dead,

Viewers will be left wondering whether or not she’s the corpse in the much-ballyhooed grave after Oliver outed Damien Darhk’s identity after the villain used a drone to kill innocent civilians during a “clean up the bay” event.

He responded by taking Felicity, Thea and Diggle captive and then by giving Oliver a demonstration of “Genesis” when Oliver attempts to save his teammates.

This evil plot involved using algae from the aforementioned clean-up for his gas chamber and referencing the Nazis when talking about how humanity occasionally needs a reset

Ummmm… GULP?!?

To show Oliver he means business, Dahrk drags Felicity, Diggle and Thea into a gas chamber and starts to fill it, making it appear as if Team Arrow is about to lose some rather integral members.

But then Laurel’s Canary shriek breaks the glass and the building gets blown up.

Damien, however, being the cockroach that he is, manages to survive. Moreover, Phase 4 of his plan is all set to begin now that the air in what appears to be an underground bunker is breathable.

However, Dahrk’s superiors (NOTE: Dahrk has superiors?!?) are worried that Oliver will still get in the way of Genesis coming to fruition.

So Damien takes aim at the newly-engaged couple as they share a happy moment in a limo.

Oliver manages to maneuver the vehicle away from the ghosts… but it’s too late.

We conclude the episode with a bullet-ridden Felicity lies bleeding in his arms.

Go back and watch Arrow online to see this tragic event unfold and then sound off: Do you really think Felicity is the person in that grave?

Anna Shannon, Husband Welcome Second Child!

A year after her family became embroiled in a devastating child molestation scandal, in which she was a victim, Anna Shannon is a mom again.

The former Here Comes Honey Boo Boo star and her husband, Michael Cardwell, welcomed daughter Kylee Madison on December 9.

The 22-year-old, also known as Chickadee to fans, gave birth at 12:06 p.m. in a local Alabama hospital, she told friends on her Facebook page.

Shannon’s daughter Kaitlyn, 3, got to hold her little sister.

Though Anna has made up with her formerly estranged mother, Mama June Shannon, the Marriage Boot Camp cast member did not join her.

Instead, Shannon’s in-laws were there by her bedside.

The younger Shannon (now Anna Cardwell) was betrayed when her mother was caught cozying up to her child molester ex-lover Mark McDaniel.

Mark abused Anna when she was a girl and did time.

This also did a number on June’s marriage to Sugar Bear, though if you watch Marriage Boot Camp online, you know there’s more to that story.

A lot more. These people are straight up crazy.

Anyway, a year later, the family has ended their nasty feud and June Shannon has stopped having sex, so it’s a win-win for the world all around.

Congrats, Anna!

Jessa Duggar Shares New, Precious Baby Photo

We have an update on #BabySeewald.

And the update is this: He’s totally adorable!!!!

Jessa (Duggar) Seewald shared a new photo of little Spurgeon on her Instagram account Wednesday night, showing off both the child’s adorable face and also his new clothes.

Well, his new old clothes, to be accurate.

“We’re loving all the cute hand-me-down outfits from Israel,” Jessa wrote as a caption to this image, adding:

“Little overalls are so adorable on baby boys!”

The Duggars may often court controversy, but there’s nothing at all controversial about that statement. It’s a simple fact.

Israel, of course, is the son of Jessa’s sister, Jill (Duggar) Dillard.

We’ll be hearing a lot more from these two siblings and seeing plenty more of them when TLC airs a three-part documentary about Jessa and Jill later this month.

The spinoff is allegedly tearing this famous family apart.

Jessa husband Ben Seewald have been taking full advantage of social media to gush over Spurgeon, who was born on November 5.

“This Thanksgiving, one of the things we are grateful for is our precious little son, Spurgeon Elliot,” the couple wrote in a post titled “Happy Thanksgiving” a few weeks ago.

They described the child as “a Blessing from the Lord” at the time.

Look for TLC to debut the special Jill & Jessa: Counting On this Sunday at 8/7c.

Will you be tuning in to see how the sisters’ lives have been impacted ever since Josh Duggar came out and admitted he molested them as children?

Kris Jenner: I Love Saint West!

Kris Jenner is totally in love, people.

With long-time boyfriend Corey Gamble? Why, yes, it actually does appear that way.

But we’re referring now, instead, to an actual member of Jenner’s family.

The reality star was asked at the Hollywood Reporter’s 2015 Women in Entertainment Breakfast on Wednesday, December 9 how she feels about grandson Saint West.

“I love the baby name. It’s amazing,” Jenner gushed to reporters on hand. “He’s definitely a saint. It’s perfect.”

The Saint was born to Kim Kardashian and Kanye West last Saturday, entering the world at eight pounds and one ounce.

We’re yet to see any Saint West baby photos, but we hear that mother and daughter are happy, healthy and now resting comfortably at home.

Saint’s aunt, Khloe Kardashian, is on record as saying her nephew is very cute, although there’s been talk that North West is unhappy about this whole little brother thing.

What about Kim Kardashian?

How is the second-time mother holding up after a challenging pregnancy?

“She was amazing. I mean, she’s a really strong girl – a little cranky when she gets uncomfortable – but other than that, she’s amazing,” Jenner told Entertainment Tonight on Wednesday, adding:

“She’s doing great right now. I think she’s happy that part of it is over, and he’s here.

“And he’s healthy and everybody’s good and all tucked in at home. So we’re good.”
