Kim Kardashian Responds to Mom-Shamers: I Did NOT Endanger Saint West!
So, remember when Kim Kardashian was mommy-shamed for putting Saint West in the car in what fans immediately pointed out was an unsafe manner?
It was a couple of months ago, but Kim is finally addressing the controversy — in the video below.
If you"ll recall, Kim snapped a cute photo of Saint sitting in his car seat.
He"s all buckled in, of course.
The problem, as (hopefully!) just about any parent can tell you, is that Saint isn"t even two years old yet.
A baby that young — he won"t turn two until December — is usually supposed to be in a rear-facing car seat.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, among other groups, recommends putting babies in rear-facing seats until they outgrow their car seats.
For most babies, that means some time when they"re 2 or 3 years old and can start riding in front-facing car seats.
So a lot of Kim"s fans were alarmed, to say the least, when they spotted this photo back in June:
As we mentioned back in June, there is an exception to the normal age guidelines:
If your child is over 40 pounds, it"s considered safe to put them in a front-facing seat.
Kim and Kanye are teeny, tiny people — Kim is 5-foot-3, and Kanye is 5-foot-8.
(We hear that 5-foot-8 is "average" but that can"t possibly be true, can it?)
But even children who will never grow to a significant height or weight can put on weight rapidly as babies and toddlers.
(I know that I gained a pound a week after birth, probably because I woke up to feed every two hours without exception — though I grew up to be 6-foot-4 which I just don"t see in Saint"s future)
At a year and a half, it"s more than possible for a baby to weight at least 40 pounds.
Folks, 40 pounds isn"t much more than a dachshund weighs, if you need a little perspective.
Hordes of mommy-shamers, as a general rule, don"t have much of an eye for nuance.
And apparently they don"t have enough sense to consider that Kim isn"t a first-time mom and knows what she"s doing.
Also, Kourtney has three children and Kris has six, so it"s not like Kim doesn"t have any parenting resources right there to give her advice, solicited or otherwise.
So, yeah, the comments got pretty heated.
Kim is only now going far enough to refute that "controversy."
Kim recently used a video to prove that she wasn"t doing cocaine.
(That video actually made us laugh out loud — the whole story did)
And she made another to respond to shaming over putting North West in a corset.
So, while it"s a little odd to respond in August to a June controversy, it"s no surprise that Kim"s using a video to explain that no, she was not recklessly endangering her baby just for the fun of it.
Kim explains exactly why Saint was perfectly safe:
"What people didn’t know is that Saint is now the weight and height requirement to sit forward-facing."
Which is the possibility that we pointed out months ago.
"Saint actually weighs more than North, if that is believable."
Given how tiny North is and the fact that babies are supposed to put on weight so that they can grow, it"s totally believable.
The video is an teaser for her app, of course.
Not for the video game, but for her app that"s really just her blog.
Most of the Kardashians do those.
You know, just in case they need even more money.
But it"s good that Kim has a platform to address the mom-shamers.
There is no shortage of awful parents in the world, but Kim genuinely loves her children and it"s hard to picture her hurting or endangering her children — through malice or carelessness.
That would be … out of character.
Of course, when the mommy-shamers see this video, they"re probably going to accuse Kim of "fattening up" Saint.
You can"t win with some people.

Kim Kardashian: Mom-Shamed for Doing THIS to Saint West
Kim Kardashian stands accused of being a law-breaking bad mother who is placing her child in considerable risk on a near-daily basis.
No, really.
This is actually the case.
The mother of two, who may actually become a mother of three in the near future if those Kim Kardashian surrogacy rumors are accurate, shared what she likely believed to be a harmless photo on Facebook this past Saturday.
A sweet photo even, perhaps.
An adorable photo, for sure.
But that’s not how many users took it, not after they studied the following image of little Saint West closely and found a huge problem with it.
Can you guess what it is?
Nope? Not at all? Not one bit? You just see a very cute toddler with some precious shoes and his sippy cup all ready to go?
Same here.
But a handful of Facebook followers have taken major exception to this snapshot, calling out Kim for facing her son to the front in his car seat when he’s only a year-and-a-half old.
To be somewhat fair to these overly-critical parent-shapers, California law does state that a child’s seat must face the rear if sad child is under the age of two.
Or if said child weighs more than 40 pounds.
We don’t know Saint’s weight, of course, but at just over 18 months, it’s VERY hard to believe that he’s reached this figure on the scale.
Nevertheless… whatever. We aren’t about to tell Kim how to be a parent.
Others, however, don’t share that same point of view.
“He is so cute, let’s protect this handsome boy by making sure [he] is rear-facing,” reads one comment, which prompted a Kardashian supporter to clap back as follows:
“I see the car seat police are on a mission! Typical putting their nose and opinion in when it wasn’t asked!”
Again, to be a tiny bit fair to these trolls, at least their criticisms have nothing to do with a child eating Nutella or a five-year old wearing a mermaid costume.
But it still feels harsh to butt into a mother’s world, even if that mother is famous and basically makes a living by opening up her world to fans and critics on social media.
“Didn’t realize so many people had degrees in car seat positioning,” wrote another user, making us laugh.
Kim is yet to comment on this ongoing car seat debate.
According to recent stories, she’s likely too busy speaking to prospective surrogate mothers to really care what some strangers have to say on the Internet.
We hope she ignores this hate and continues to focus on her kids instead of what these idiots have to say.
After all… you can hurl whatever insults Kim’s way that you see fit when it comes to the products she chooses to push, the lack of shame she chooses to show and the fake storylines in which she stars on television.
But Kardashian has given us no reason to think she doesn’t love her children a whole lot.
At the end of the day, that’s all we’re gonna judge her on as a parent.
That’s all any of us can do, right?

Eddie Cibrian: Brandi Glanville is a Liar, LeAnn Rimes is a Saint!
Isn’t it so weird to think about how LeAnn Rimes, Eddie Cibrian, and Brandi Glanville are all grown adults?
Considering all the nonsense drama they consistenly get into with each other, you’d think they were preteens at best.
But LeAnn is 34 years old, and Brandi and Eddie are both in their 40s — and still, the issues persist.
And as Brandi described in an open letter she shared on Thursday, things are no better than they were when this whole mess began eight long years ago.
In the letter, Brandi wrote that she’s tried her best to “take the higher road with Eddie and LeAnn for the sake of my boys,” but they just make it so difficult.
“During these years,” she claimed, “I’ve dealt with her obsession with me in the form of her copying my life from going to my dentist, dermatologist, plastic surgeon to even attempting to see my trainer of 14 years.”
And while that sounds absurd, there’s been receipts over the years — LeAnn definitely seems to have a Single White Female thing going on.
Brandi said that a couple of things have happened recently to push her over the edge — one being that LeAnn and Eddie had her uninvited from a party they’d also been invited to.
Then, a couple of weeks ago, she says that LeAnn watched her boyfriend’s Snapchats, learned their plans for the day, then “just happened to show up where we said we would be to celebrate step mothers day (a day early).”
Yikes.
Brandi wrote that LeAnn and Eddie sat across the room from her with her children “just to hurt and torment me by using my own children as pawns.”
It was a pretty intense accusation to make, but sadly, it’s not unbelievable.
But still, Eddie Cibrian felt the need to make a statement of his own to defend LeAnn’s honor.
“I normally don’t respond to Brandi’s foolishness,” he told E! News, “but I will not allow false and reverse accusations to go unanswered about my wife.”
“LeAnn is a fantastic stepmom to the boys and is always gracious to their mother. Having to put up with Brandi’s made up drama all the time is extremely frustrating.”
… Eddie does realize that we’ve witnessed LeAnn’s bizarre behavior time and time (and time) again, right? No?
He went on to say that “After eight years we should have one priority, making sure two incredible kids are loved and remain happy and healthy.”
“But every couple of months there is another accusation coming from Brandi in an attempt to drum up drama to stay relevant.”
He said that “LeAnn and I did not nor have we ever ‘shown up’ at places where Brandi will be. Why would we do that? Makes no sense.”
He claimed that he and LeAnn had reservations days before Brandi posted anything about going to that restaurant — he even screenshots as “proof” on Twitter.
The proof is a text between LeAnn and her assistant, but as many of his followers pointed out, texts are easily faked.
Brandi, meanwhile, shared her own screenshots — some from Snapchat that showed LeAnn had viewed her boyfriend’s videos.
The whole thing is a mess, and sure, they may have had reservations and they may have just coincidentally ended up at the same place as Brandi.
But isn’t it weird how Eddie focused on the restaurant issue in his statement and nothing else?
No denials about LeAnn seeking out Brandi’s doctors, nothing about the harassment Brandi claims she’s faced from LeAnn and her people for years?
But Eddie did comment on another statement Brandi recently made — the one in which the predicted that Eddie would leave LeAnn after their ten year anniversary, when he’d get half of everything.
He called Brandi “sad” and “sick” to “openly predict and hope for the end of our marriage,” and said that “this is not healthy behavior. I’m very concerned.”
Can someone tell Eddie that if he wants to be concerned about sad, unhealthy behavior, he should also look to his wife?

Kim Kardashian Shares New, Adorable Photos of Saint West
Kim Kardashian has given us two new reasons not to hate her.
On Monday evening, the polarizing reality star continued her fairly recent tradition of taking social media followers inside her family life by sharing a pair of new Saint West photos.
And say what you will about Kardashian herself, but even the harshest critics must admit the following:
This kid is REALLY cute!
“Look at his cheeks and angry face. LOL,” Kardashian captioned one picture of her 14-month-old, who clearly is yet to get into the Kardashian-Jenner tradition of embracing any and all selfies.
On Instagram, meanwhile, Kim shared another cute image, along with a message that reads:
“Me and my Sainty boo a few months ago.”
Kardashian, of course, was robbed at gunpoint back on October 3.
She remains traumatized by the experience (for understandable reasons) and only made her return to social media a handful of weeks ago.
Clearly hoping to avoid any kind of similar, harrowing circumstance in the future, Kim hasn’t been posting pictures of her diamonds or her expensive clothing collection or any exterior shots of her mansion.
Instead, Kardashian has continually updated her official app and website with simple snapshots, just like the ones above.
We’ve seen Kim sitting around the house in sweatpants. We’ve seen Kanye West eating a bowl of cereal. We’ve seen famous mom, dad and their two kids just playing on the floor.
The theme has grown so extreme and obvious that some critics have even slammed Kardashian for trying too hard to act poor.
Based on this logic, however, Kim really can’t win.
She risks inviting thieves into her life (along with a different kind of criticism) if she flaunts her wealth online.
But then she also gets hit with backlash if she keeps her public photographs simple and sweet.
We almost feel badly for Kim Kardashian. Almost, that is.
On Sunday night, meanwhile, insiders say Kim and Kanye West tried to go out on the town.
They were hoping to stop by the annual Vanity Fair shindig or, really, any gathering of celebrities in the wake of the 89th Academy Awards.
But Kimye did not receive a single invitation! Ouch!
“Kim is often reminded that she is not a real star when she goes to any of these things,” an insider told Radar Online this week of Kim’s attempt to act like an A-Lister in Hollywood.
Perhaps that’s for the best overall, however.
Kim has been there and done that, right?
She’s lived as public a life as one can live and she’d benefitted from it financially, many times over.
With money in the bank and precious kids at home, would it really be so terrible if Kardashian retreated from the spotlight for good in order to raise her family?

Kim Kardashian Shares ADORABLE New Photos of Saint West!
Kim Kardashian can be vain, selfish, and just plain dumb, and Kanye West … well, he can be Kanye West.
But despite all that, when these two come together, they make some really beautiful kids.
They’ve got the fabulous North West, who turns four in June, if you can even believe it, and then back in December, little Saint had his first birthday.
For as much as Kim’s always shared so much of her life with the public, she and Kanye have been relatively private when it comes to their children.
We never see many pictures of them on social media, and that’s been especially true after Kim’s robbery four months ago.
She’s been lying low herself, so we’ve seen even less of the Kimye kids than usual.
… Until now!
As you surely remember, the Kardashians recently went on a great big family vacation to Costa Rica.
Kim brought North and Saint along with her while Kane stayed at home, and while it sounded lovely and all, we didn’t really get the social media documentation of the trip that we’d normally expect.
And we’re not going to lie, it hurt.
But, as it turns out, Kim was just biding her time.
She hopped on her app this week to share a few mighty cute photos of Saint … and we’d say they were well worth the wait.
In the photos, Kim is playing with Saint in a swimming pool outside the home they rented for their stay.
The kid looks like he’s having a ball with his mother, and it’s so sweet to see.
In one of the pictures, Kim lifts him up in the air as he gives a big smile, and in another, she shows him a camera.
Because hey — there’s no denying this little boy loves the camera.
Saint seems so comfortable with being photographed and filmed — not at all like his big sister, North.
No, we could never see Saint crying over Snapchat filters or making a habit out of yelling “No pictures!”
(Not that there’s anything wrong with that — Snapchat is weird, pictures can be annoying, and North West is pretty much a national treasure. We’d never ask her to change.)
And thank goodness for that, right? Because seriously, what a cute kid.

Kanye West CANCELS Remaining Saint Pablo Tour Dates: Find Out Why!
Kanye West is pulling the plug on the rest of his Saint Pablo Tour.
It hardly comes as a surprise when you consider all of the issues that have plagued the tour.
It sure seems like Kanye has lost his bearing on time, or he just doesn’t give a damn and wants to show up whenever he wants.
That’s sort of what divas do.
We’re hearing that the unlucky people who have tickets will be entitled to refunds for what they spent on the tickets.
Rightfully so.
A source was quick to deny the rapper was heading for a meltdown. In fact, the star allegedly needs some rest.
“It’s nothing like that,” the source revealed.“
“He’s just exhausted. He’s been working around the clock on fashion design, both on his own line and the Adidas line. He’s a notorious workaholic, so balancing both that work – which is extremely important to him – and the rigors of the tour every night, it really wore him out.”
Kanye is probably worried sick about Kim Kardashian after she was robbed at gunpoint in Paris.
It’s been a few weeks now, but he probably can’t help thinking about how wrong the robbery could have went for his wife.
“I’m sure Kim and his family played a part in the decision [to cancel the tour],” the source continued. “He’’s incredibly devoted to his family.”
On top of all of that, Kanye’s behavior has been pretty erratic in recent weeks.
Over the weekend, he went to town on Beyonce and Jay Z by calling them out at during his performance in Sacramento.
It was pretty random, but that’s the Kanye West we all know and love.
Have a look at what went down:
Maybe he attacked the power couple to make up for the fact that he showed up to the performance around 90 minutes later.
If so, it’s pretty pathetic, but I’m sure we’ll get a clearer picture of what is going on with him pretty soon.
Maybe he’s getting the wheels in motion to run for President in 2020.

Kim Kardashian: Using Saint West to Boost KUWTK Ratings?!
Despite (or perhaps because of) the fact that the titular family seems to be everywhere you look these Keeping Up With the Kardashians ratings have been on the decline for several years now.
Industry analysts have attributed the show’s nosediving popularity to the fact that the proliferation of tabloid media has created a condition wherein the storylines are old hat by the time they make it to air.
Others say the problem is that some of the younger family members are so unenthusiastic in their promotions that it often seems like they want the show to get canceled.
Whatever the case, the show that made the Kard clan household names may not be long for this world.
Of course, as long as they have master media manipulator Kris Jenner at the helm, you can never fully count this family out.
Unfortunately for her kids, even Kris only has so many tricks up her sleeve.
Short of another Kim Kardashian sex tape, there’s not much the momager can do to boost her children’s popularity, and yet, that popularity doesn’t seem to be translating to decent ratings.
So it seems Kris and Kim are planning to pull a move that producers of long-running sitcoms have been relying on for decades:
When all else fails, bring out the cute little kids.
In this case, that means increasing 8-month-old Saint West’s role on the series.
“Kim is throwing Saint into the public eye right now because Kris really feels that Saint could help ratings,” a source close to the situation tells Radar Online.
Fortunately, it seems Kim and Kanye’s only son takes after his folks when it comes to his love of attention:
“North is so anti-photos and Saint is really the opposite,” says the insider.
“He loves the camera and they are going to use it to their advantage.”
Sounds like he’ll fit right in with the rest of the family.
Now someone get this kid a spin-off!
